Heard these were some of the best wings in Temple, but I'm not so sure about that. The wings were good, just nothing special. I got 5 lemon pepper and 5 garlic Parmesan and was honestly a little let down. The cheese pizza also tasted pretty similar to frozen pizza. They do have a full bar, so maybe the experience is better with a couple drinks, but personally, the food just wasn't for me. We liked the Texas Thai and spicy barbecue, while the other two flavors were okay. The white garlic chicken bacon pizza was good, although we all felt unwell after eating this food. Prices were comparable to other wing restaurants. My son wanted to go here on Father's Day and we got a late start didn't leave till 6 o'clock. I thought we'd be sitting there for hours but no!! We were seated within a half an hour. Our waitress was very attentive. Told us you know that the kitchen took a little bit a while because there was such a crowd, but got drinks snd appetizers. Enjoyed it little crowded little noisy but hey, we were there to party for Father's Day. Totally would recommend this to go for the family. I do have one critique. My son explained that waitresses were possibly not assigned and through our waitress that came back to help quite a bit was great but the one that brought the mushrooms out didn't bring any plates or forks or anything and then we kept getting somebody's iced tea that we never ordered. First and last time going here..( sad because we just moved to Temple.) I have a wheat allergy (not a celiac) so I was excited to see Gluten Free pizza on the menu. I ordered it and it was a self-raised dough, never seen this before. We asked the women who brought out the pizza if she was sure it was a gluten-free pizza and she stated she wasn't sure. We waited for our waitress to come back to the table and asked her if it was a gluten-free pizza and she had to go to the kitchen and ask them and it was NOT. I could've had a severe allergic reaction. We recently ordered delivery through grubhub. We got some wings flavored with lemon pepper and teriyaki. We also got a large supreme pizza new york style crust. The pizza looks very appealing at first glance. When biting into the slice it tastes like very cheap cheese. The cheese has a very strange almost gelatinized lardy texture. The toppings were not fresh. The sausage and mushroom was a little on the hard side. Very gross. The wings looked like some type of abomination of a lab experiment gone wrong. Very greasy cheap meat slathered in sauce. They didn't taste too good either and could have used a little bit more time in the oven or fryer. Another Temple disappointment. I'm starting to think that a lot of people rate higher because they don't know any better than the mediocre product that is offered to them. Honestly think the cardboard box it came in would have been better. I really wanted to like this place based off of other reviews. I gave this place a 5 star rating on my first visit about 2 weeks ago. I go back for another visit two days ago and what a decline in just a few weeks. Wow!! I sure love this place and have had almost everything. As a frequent visitor I saw the gentleman next to me eating something I hadn't seen before. It was a twist on the club sandwich with pepperoni which was good, but would be better with ham. The guy next to me saw it and ordered one as well. I give them four stars tonight because I've been going here for eight years. Pretty regularly if we go here recently it's been every Thursday. I didn't put a complaint on here when they went from real potato french fries to the many different frozen fries that have all sucked I didn't complain when Covid made them change vendors and now their burgers are not awesome like they were. I didn't complain about the pepperoni rolls that are inconsistent. One time you'll get five or six pieces of pepperoni in them with a good amount of cheese and then next time you go you'll get two pieces of pepperoni with little cheese. But tonight I asked them how hard it would be to get one of the three TVs that were on the same channel switched to Chive, which is funny videos. Instead of just saying no, the waitress was told to come back and tell us that it's on a box and whatever channel it's on has to stay on that channel. During our meal, we noticed that the section of TVs we were asking about changed channels twice. And since we have been going here for eight years, we have seen them change the channels many times randomly. For whatever reason the person did not like "us" asking for this small favor. We've never had a problem here. We never caused the problem here. We always tip 20% and I've always treated anyone we've encountered with respect. I know the world is filled with hate today and for something so small to cause someone's hate to act up is ridiculous. Our waitress was amazing. They have an assortment of delicious deeo fried delights which will always keep you on your toes. Their fries always change in type but all of them are good. Can only review the food we ordered for pick up. I called it in and the order taker was polite and efficient. We ordered a 14 in thin crust pizza and a 10 piece wings. The wings were very good. The Texas Thai was a very good sauce and the wings were cooked properly if a little bit small. The pizza was over cooked very dark on the bottom and crust. This is my family's go to place every time I have come out to Texas for the last few years. The wings were always wonderful, the portions were always good. Unfortunately our time out there last Thursday was less than lackluster. The cheese fries have one size now that can only feed one person (definitely not a shareable app anymore), my Buffalo wings had no sauce, my cousins "Wings of fire" tasted sweet (and I'm a wuss when it comes to spice). I'm going to write this entire review as I sit in the restaurant at 3:25pm on 3/28/21 Restaurant is absolutely not very busy, I have been here during game nights, this is definitely not a busy Sunday afternoon. I'm starting this review at 5 stars and going from there. 1- we opted to sit at the bar. There was ONE LONE COUPLE sitting to our left on this (front) side of the bar. 5 full minutes passed before anyone greeted us for drinks. Not because they are busy, again, as I stated before, but because they (5 employees) were all standing at the far end of the bar talking and laughing cutting it up. One star gone. At the end of the bar to my right were four or five different servers and a bus boys all standing together complaining about their different tables & what A7 said to her and who wants to swap each other's table at 6 because they are rude, all the while in front of patrons COUNTING TIPS, complaining about wanting to go home and drink. Deduct Another star. Guy at the end of the bar talking about eating at Bills Grill & getting extremely sick, having to stop his car constantly on the drive home to vomit non stop. While people are EATING, waitresses asking him if he feels better from last night, saying he's just going to go drink water but... still came to work... deduct one HUGE star. Every single time from here until the end of the review every time I hear "god they asked me to work a double, or what the fuck?!" I'm going to just go ahead and deduct a star, So you can just take this review down to one star already because it comes out of their mouth every 2.5 minutes. Bartender took our order without writing anything down, surprisingly everything came out as ordered & she didn't miss a beat, kept our drinks full & condiments whenever requested. The kitchen made a mistake with the food we ordered but our bartender (Amanda again to the rescue) was on it in less than 15 seconds and made it right to get our food out ASAP, so she gains the star she deserves. Never have we had Amanda as our bartender but you can bet when we return we will be sure to verify that she is working. At the middle of the split in the bars was an employee...? Manager...? A Gentleman in an employee shirt, standing in between the two bars sipping his Miller light straight from the bottle as he tucked it underneath and behind the counter each time out of sight. But at the same time we had Avery, so her tag said, in her work shirt, name tag & all sitting at the bar drinking her Michelob Ultra with her lunch she's eating. I get it, I've worked in food service, but you don't sit at the bar IN your work shirt with the name tag on, drinking AT the bar. (x2 employees) Amanda was pulling double duty now while tables that were sat & no one greeted them, came to the bar asking if they had a server & why no one had been around to even take their drink orders, similar to us when we sat down. So she is now tending bar (the entire bar by herself), and now waiting the tables outside of the bar. Where were the employees that were all standing around at the end of the bar complaining about 7A & puking? Again, not sure if it's even against your rules, policy, what have you, but seeing the employees sitting at the bar in full uniform drinking, never looks good on an establishment. Period. All in all, the experience this time did not start out pleasant, we had to move to escape the wait staff & vomit discussion, waited a while to be greeted and get drinks, but the only positive was the one lone bartender, taking care of more patrons than anyone else I could count, to include her drinking co-workers too. Give that girl a raise, and seriously have an up training for both your wait staff & store managers as there is a huge disconnect between what does and does not look good for a business. read more

What pushed the review down to three stars were the onion rings. They came out nice and hot however for the price I expected a handmade onion ring. A group of friends and I decided we wanted to get together and watch a little football on a Sunday. Someone recommended this place and it was my first time going here. I've always drove by it but never heard anything about it until now. Upon entering I was quickly greeted by the manager and the hostess. I was wearing a Ravens shirt, so he was able to point me in the right direction of my friends. As I was walking to our table I immediately knew this was the perfect sports bar. There were TVs EVERYWHERE!! After I sat down I immediately started counting... I got up to 63 before I lost count... They have a double sided menu that has everything you could imagine and want while watching any sporting event. The tables and chairs were really crammed together which made it hard to walk to and from the bathroom. Also the service was really slow. Some of my friends food took almost 40 minutes to come out, but the place was packed with people wanting to watch NFL football. After a couple of hours a few of my friends left and the manager came over and asked if he could move us to a high top table because he had a large group coming in and needed our tables. He even offered us a pitcher of beer for us being willing to move. I had a pretty good experience and I definitely will comeback to watch games here instead of driving to Waco to my normal sports bar. If you play fantasy football and live in the Belton/Temple area then you need to come here. Positives: Great management... This place is a great pizza/wings/sports bar. They have TV's all over the place so definitely a great spot to catch any sports you want. Both the pizza and the wings are an 8/10 for me. I would strongly recommend the lemon pepper wings if you're a fan of that flavor. The pizza is heavy on the cheese (which I personally love) and has always been consistently good. Staff have always been very attentive and friendly, even when it's extremely busy. The only downside I can think of is the lack of space but I know that once their new location opens they'll easily be able to accommodate larger crowds. Would definitely recommend this spot! read more
