The burger was the best I've had in awhile as far as flavor. Great tasting onion rings as my side. The staff was great explaining the food and answered all questions. The vibe is that of a local mom and pops eatery. Look forward to going back

Solid, old fashioned burger joint. Patties aren't overly thick , which I prefer. Light on the vegetable toppings. I would prefer leaf lettuce instead of shredded lettuce. I ordered mine without onion but sadly my order came with onion. Tots and fries are tasty. Serves beer. During the dinner rush they need more than one person taking orders. One poor girl was handling orders from the drive thru window and the counter. Although swamped, staff was very friendly. All orders are served wrapped and in a to go bag even if you choose to dine in. Decent amount of seating inside with tvs and music playing.

Decided to make a u turn and stop into B Town after a morning on the lake. I ordered the double cheeseburger combo with L soda. The fries were hot and crispy. The burger reminded me of the burger that my grandma would make for me at the cafe that she ran. It was definitely a great burger. I took it to go so I didn't get the chance to see how the vibe was. The service was fast and it seems like there was a smooth assembly line getting orders out. I'll definitely be trying other menu items on future visits.

Had Cheeseburgers and Fries! The food was good! Burger was moist and flavorful! Fries were salted just right and crispy! Veggies were fresh and good. We did call ahead order and picked up at drive thru. Service was good.

Burger and fries were very delicious

Good fresh hamburgers. They have a drive through window. I noticed recently they put outdoor area to sit outside.

Best burgers in the area! Nice and greasy and they don't skimp! Onions rings are good too. Just wish they had chocolate malt.

I was initially disappointed when I opened up my box because it looked like such a thin patty. I regretted not getting a double burger. BUT it turns out the sides of the patty are kind of just pressed thinner which made them nicely crispy and the patty really bulked up in the center. It ended up being a good balance of meat/bun and was the perfect amount of food for me. I ordered a basic cheeseburger, but was very interested in their specialty burgers and will branch out next time. The cheeseburger was exactly what you want in a burger. Great flavor, toppings were well-proportioned. My only complaint is the bun, and it's not reeeeaaallly a complaint. It was just very basic. It tasted like HEB burger buns, which are fine, but even just toasting the buns would have taken it up a notch. Unfortunately, their fryers were down when I visited, so I couldn't try the fries. They also had sliders on their online menu which I was VERY excited about because I love tiny burgers, but it turns out they've modified their menu a lot and removed the sliders and several of their sandwiches. I'm sure they had their reasons, but I was bummed. It was also a bit longer wait than I would have liked. They do grill their burgers to order, so I guess that's the explanation, but it was close to 15 minutes which just felt a bit long to me for a food truck.

Don't trust the menu. The burger is good, however, it is not what I ordered…read more On the menu, next to # 10, was a picture of double meat patty, cheese soaked burger with two full pieces of bacon sticking out of a bun. So I ordered it. When I got what I ordered I got one meat patty, no cheese, one piece of bacon that was torn in half. For $12 with a medium fry. I was told at the window that I got exactly what I ordered. In retrospect, the picture next to # 10 was not labeled so how confusing and inconvenient can a business be? I'd have paid more for what I expected, however, that menu is misleading and horrendous. Nothing special here, for $12 go to a different burger place for a better value.

Wes's has been my grandpa's favorite burger spot for over 20 years, and for good reason. The service and atmosphere are exactly what you want to see out of a burger spot that knows they have top 3 burgers, and has nothing to hide. The onion rings are a must grab and have all of the attributes from crisp batter to an easy pull apart when you bite in. If you haven't been before, now is your sign to run to Wes's.

The Goodnight Burger is simply a 3 patty burger = 1# of beef. The pickles (& I ordered extra) are very slim & the lettuce isn't plentiful. The meat is the star here, nice to have hearty & fresh ground pressed patties without worrying about thin frozen discs. Buns are decent to hold it all. Wes Teeters, the owner that created the name sake restaurant, has retired & sold it to new owners around Christmas 2025. Tater tots were perfect. Waitresses are very nice & helpful & they fixed my bacon situation but I had to ask. If you try Wes's Sauce, it's like a spicy taco or steak sauce, so go lightly at first. Their healthy option is a populated iceburg lettuce salad bar. I was just too full to take them up on the appreciated invitation for pie dessert. Discounted price for cash payment. They do Temple right with their offerings but I wouldn't say it's a decadent place. It's a hometown cafe catering to the locals & that's all right, it's a decent place. Ample seating room with some old style booths. but the plastic chairs feel cheap. Another long-time Temple gem, Old Jody's, is right across the street & still competitive for business. So you have the choice of 2 similar places within 25 yards of each other. Oh, & Grape Kool-aid for the win!
