We got the Saturday special which is a combo cheeseburger , fries and a drink. Ask questions if it is your first time so as not to be surprised on the charges if you go bottled or fountains drink, or pick a side other than fries. The burger patty was thick and flavorful. Juicy with a hair pink. Not sure if that was intended or not. I have no problem with my burger that way but I know some who will not eat any pink showing. Fries were bland and I don't believe they seasoned them. The price for the experience is a bit high. Bottled drinks are over $3. Most of the menu items appear to be ala cart. stopped in because the spot I was going to was closed, and this place was nearby. What a fantastic surprise--it turned out to be meant to be! I ordered the hamburger club with a side of their honey mustard, and it was outstanding. The burger was cooked to perfection: juicy, flavorful, and made with clearly fresh ingredients. You can tell a lot of care and love goes into every smash. The honey mustard was excellent, though I wasn't as big a fan of the ranch (it had more tang than creaminess for my taste). The tater tots were crispy, salty, and had a perfect texture. Hands down, one of the best burgers I've had in a long time--and I travel quite a bit. Service was fantastic. The woman who brought our food (I didn't catch her name) was incredibly sweet and even gave my wife and me keychains as a thank you. The consistency is almost impressive, just in the worst possible way. Wrong orders, average-at-best food, and prices that suggest they think they're a gourmet burger spot. They aren't. This has been my go to burger spot. I even order lunch for students at times. I'm so disappointed in the lack of hygiene I witnessed on Sunday. The young man behind the counter was taking orders and handling money. He was also handling fries. He would use the same napkin to place fries in the bags. Tongs would much better and more sanitary. However he left the counter and went straight to the kitchen and began prepping food. He didn't skip a beat to wash his hands. I kindly explained to the shift lead. She said they wear gloves, but you still need to wash your hands before putting on gloves. She was very courteous and refunded my card. Please do better with hygienic practices. read more

I came here for National Cheeseburger Day because they had cheeseburgers for $1. I went after work around 6pm and the parking lot was packed as well as the drive thru. I almost considered not going, but I'm glad I did because the service was quick! It took me about 15 minutes from when I pulled up to to when I got my food and left. I thought they were pretty organized despite the chaos so good job Black Meg 43! I ordered 3 Cheeseburgers all the way, 2 fries and a drink. They accidentally gave me an extra order of fries, which was cool at first, but the fries were super sad and soft so we ended up jus tossing them. I honestly thought the burgers were great for $1. It had cheese, tomato, onion and pickles, so it was pretty basic, but gave me that classic cheeseburger feeling. It was also a good sized burger! My only issue with it was that it was dry because it didn't have any condiments on it. This is my first time at Black Meg 43, so I'm not sure if this is how their normal cheeseburgers are or if you get to put the condiments on when you dine in, but I had to add dijon mustard to my burger at home. I liked that the fries were thicker than a fast food fry, but it could have been crispier. I might visit again to try their regular menu, but I'm not totally convinced yet. read more

I live near by and I wanted to try a local burger restaurant. They have a sign that says 2020 beat burger in copperas Cove so my wife and I decided to try it out. We had the black meg combo and patty melt . The menu is easy to read and the staff taking orders were very polite . Overall the burger and regular fries are pretty standard . I know you can order extras in your burger but I have fresh veggies at home so it made the meal 5/5. I'll go back probably here and there. Better than McDonald's or Burger King forsure . read more

I've been looking for a good burger for a while. When it came down to it me and my wife would go to Red Robin as a safe option. I decided to give this place a try and I was not disappointed. Fresh ingredients, and the huge thing for me was the patty. Usually burger places lean on the toppings on the burger and not so much on the actual patty, but the patty was full of flavor and I loved it.
