This is me after the review of the restaurant

The air was stuffy and the food rather isn't seasoned or over seasoned their was a freezer next to us and it had raw meat in it. I wached a man walk to the freezer from the kitchen and back. We are on the other side of the restaurant!

NOT BAD! Didn't like the Collard greens and prefer my baked potato not to have everything melted. Like to add it myself. Southern roots and prefer a different flavor profile in my collards and cabbage. I be back for lunch in a few weeks.

single visit review... I hate to get down on Ma's place, the staff here were very nice and to be clear I would go back if I was over there, because there isn't a whole lot else near by, it is very affordable and like i said the people were nice. Pro's food is cheap and portions are decent staff is nice food is decent Cons a lot of flies when i went not a great location parking lot is meh

I thought about this little place as I passed it when I was on Veterans Memorial Blvd. Was wanting something with a home cooked taste. I ordered the chicken and it failed! Chicken was not cooked as pink meat was visible when I took a bite.

I got the feeling of Diner food at my first bite. But it took forever to get our food but she gave that cake to make up for it.

We demolished the carne asada fries which needed nothing but filthy fingers & forks. Their fountain of youth water caused me to go brunette/blackhead again. The unsweetened tea was tasty & toothsome. The Flux Capacitor with the green chili & guacamole was Ratatouille's kiss. We also had the pleasure of meeting & being served by "Creed Bratton's" Indica. The ambiance was akin to visiting my midnight library in Baby Yoda (actual Yoda) theme park of my lucid dreams. Would I return? Yes, but next time I'll make an appointment next door to get a mini 8oz Great Value water bottle tattooed on my back to celebrate my 7th & 2nd generation Mexican American heritage. Room for improvement: Next time maybe offer optional bendy straws & monocles? And what about a punch card for visits instead of or as an option to an app? Live long & prosper. (Sorry for all the typos & cacophony of mixed metaphors & references. It can't be helped due to my current food comma/coma.)

The service really stands out. I had a bad throat, and our server kindly brought me warm water with lemon on request. I don't eat beef or pork, and she made sure to double-check with the kitchen, which I truly appreciated. That level of care made a difference. It has a true sports bar vibe with TVs all around, great for catching games. I'm here for work with a colleague -- they enjoyed their beer, and it was comfortable enough for us to sit, chat, and even get a little work done. Solid spot and definitely somewhere I return to when I'm in Killeen, Tx

The service is much the same and there's plenty of rock music playing overhead. Instead of steaks, this is more of a pizza, wings and burger outfit. They do have an extensive menu with plenty of drink choices to go with. I decided on the ribeye, hoping it would be just as good as Road House, but it fell slightly short, but it was still good. The chicken and shrimp penne was very good and had just a nice hint of spice. Overall, this place delivers for the money and next time we'll stick to the pizza and burgers. First there is plenty of seating and it is always clean. It is on the noisy side, but I think it lends to the casual and hip atmosphere. There is all you can eat peanuts in the counter while you wait, but don't throw the shells on the floor! Some of you may get that! If you get fries to go, they throw the thickly sliced fresh fries on top of the rest of your order. Too fun. No one else dares to do that! But you can be sure you will get a lot of ketchup in the bag as well. Their cheeseburger was juicy, stacked high and cooked to perfection. The sesame seed bun is thick and spongy and holds up very well. They add pickles, lettuce, huge slices of tomato and mayo on it as well for a great flavor. The shake was authentic. The best outside of home made. There were pieces of cherry in it so you get bold flavor. Definitely a treat. As always, the staff had personality and you will have great conversation. It's like you have known each other forever. It seems to be like that at other locations. They do their best to get the order to you quickly. I think they do pretty well considering they cook items made to order. Enjoy your meal!
