Which didn't make sense because we were the only ones there. The server and another gentleman did apologize and made it right which I definitely appreciate. The place is clean, decor gives stranger things but urban which we loved and the music was a vibe. Maybe next time I'm in town I will attempt to enjoy a meal here.

We loved her. Now when my sister said they had good food, I did NOT expect it to be soooo delicious...yummy!!! I ordered the smothered pork chops & the serving was HUGE! I had enough for 2-1/2 meals! It was scrumptious! I loved everything, especially the onions they grilled (or however they cooked them). It was clear that whoever was in the kitchen absolutely knew what they were doing & they cooked with some extra helpings of love in there! My sisters had the fried catfish & I tried theirs & was completely blown away! It was truly one of the BEST fried catfish I have had since I've been in Texas...& that's saying a lot because I've tried a LOT of different places & my hips prove it every time I look in the mirror...lol! The crispness, the lightness, the perfectly seasoned batter & fish were above & beyond! OMGosh! I can't WAIT to come back...even though the drive is 2 hours away, it will definitely be worth it! Great job Hallmark! & thank you Jessie for making it such an enjoyable experience for us. God bless you all!

Meal wise, my wifes steak looked like the tip of the sirloin roast and although medium rare, was very dry. The manager did make it right and replace it. Much more palatable. The BBQ chicken was very moist, succulent and I devoured it. The fries coupled with the house ketchup produced an excessively salty experience. Not blaming the restraunt, just a note to self to ask for no seasoning on my fries. Still an excellent place to get a steak in Killeen. The staff care. The chicken fettuccine alfredo was a solid pasta and came in a large portion. I also got a glass of moscato. My friends enjoyed the chicken piccata, triple delight, and shrimp scampi. When I made a reservation over the phone and also when I arrived, I was told by the hostess that there would be something special done for the birthday occasion. I saw in other reviews that they give a small dessert with a message, but they did not do anything of the sort. Our server was extremely slow, and the birthday dessert never came. This was a huge disappointment when I specifically chose this restaurant to celebrate the occasion.

Right as I walked in, I could see how new this place was. The bright lights and colorful ambiance made the establishment warm and exciting. You're greeted by a host who asks if you're there for the games or to dine in. I chose the games first. Now the games are a little pricey. I figure the best bang for my buck would be the 90 min play pass. Keep in mind with that particular pass, you have to wait 30 seconds before you're able to swipe the card again. This matters if you have someone else and you want to play together. Was it annoying? Yes but if you managed to go through the temporary pause then it's not a problem. This Dave and Buster's location was smaller than i anticipated. Usually the ones I've been to in Dallas/NY/Pflugerville were a lot bigger and had more interactive games. But out of all of those, this was the nicer one because it was new. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design. It was time to eat and I ordered the papi chulo queso which was basically cheese dip with chorizo and pico, I also ordered a half rack of ribs that came with fries and a Caesar salad. My son had ordered honey bbq wings with fries. And for dessert we ordered a brownie bliss. Let me tell you I always love the queso, always. It never has let me down. Now for the ribs. This isn't your top of the line bbq establishment, you aren't going to be blown away by the ribs. The ribs already come pasted with a wet peppery rub that is so overpowering I was getting worried I was not going to like it. It did however have a sauce right by which saved the day. The meat was fall off the bone, tender and juicy. Delicious if it wasn't for the sauce I wouldn't have finished it. The fries were seasoned and were decent nothing to brag about. The Caesar salad was an abomination. It tasted fishy. Why? There was no fish in there. It was just drowned in Caesar dressing. I did not finish that. You could tell it was just drowned in Caesar because the lettuce looked old and not fresh. I don't know about my son's wings but it looks like he liked them because they were gone. The brownie bliss was good, I think what would elevate the experience is the brownie being warmed up but then it would change the dynamic with the ice cream. All in all, I had a great time!
