This was a lot of cake and a lot of good cake

I visited them with a co-worker for lunch. I loved it! (Pretty sure my friend liked the place too) The portion sizes are just very generous. I had the ham and cheese and egg sandwich. It was made fresh and it was delicious. My favorite was the tres leches...I'd come back for just that! The staff is sweet and the restaurant felt very homey.

    Pan sobao

Coqui was so good. Everything was delicious and the restaurant clean. While we were there, there was a stream of regulars who would come in, chat with the staff and linger patiently for their scratch made order. Their prices are reasonable. We will definitely come again. We ordered breakfast. Pancakes were fluffy, bread chewy, eggs flavorful and the coffee steaming hot.

Little joint but big flavor!! The coffee is spectacular and strong not the watered down stuff you usually get served. The people here are super friendly, and answer any questions if you are not sure!!

Generous staff provided pet water without request

Cubano sandwich was perfect and the staff is super accommodating. Great at home feeling as well as staff going out of their way to bring our dogs water when it was a hot day. Will come back and recommend.

Food was beyond expectations. Absolutely delicious. I got the pork bites with the rice and couldn't believe how good it was.

The feel of the room was amazing, large window, ample lighting. It was comfortable and clean. The pool area was great, needs a better cleaning, but it was enjoyed nonetheless. The outdoor Jacuzzi was off for some reason, but the indoor one was nice. The water and tiles needed to be cleaned, though. The pool seemed heavily chlorinated, but adding a bunch of chlorine is NOT a substitute for a clean pool. The sauna was nice. The steam room was NASTY. It smelled so bad that we just left. Their pool area cleaner needs to go, or needs better training. Now that I have cleared that up, the rest of the hotel experience was amazing. The restaurant was great, I cannot express that enough. The food in the restaurant and the drinks in the bar were DELICIOUS! We may return just because we can. We recommend happy hour bites, because they're cheap, but delicious. The free breakfast consisted of the usual, except something to note, it definitely tastes like army eggs and potatoes, other than that, good and a nice little sunroom inside. Would recommend this inn, absolutely, they just need to clean the pool area better, for sure.

Even though the staff didn't get a heads up about our plans to be here with as many people as we've had, they held their own and served us as fast and as well as they could I appreciate their hustle and patience. They worked fairly well under the pressure despite it being difficult with such a large party. I didn't get the entire staffs names but Michelle took our Order and she was great! I LOVE her name tag and then Crystal, I believe is the one who served us our food and chatted with us for a bit. She was a treat The food on the menu is quite simple. Nothing crazy or fancy and they've got the prices right there by the dish . I can always appreciate when the price is there so that I KNOW what I'm getting into. At my table, we had two orders of the Trash Can Omelet (come with toast or biscuit; grits, hash or choice of potatoes), we had house 'fries' and a Strawberry Waffle. It was all very delicious! I don't think it was that I was hungry but I CLEANED my omelet and toast at the restaurant. I was sat! And I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would absolutely be coming back here again for the good food and amazing service

We were super stoked to see some really different takes on breakfast. I mean, when you replace regular bacon with pork belly for a lot of the dishes, you can't go wrong. I went with the Belly egg and cheese and the hubby ordered the Big Boy. Both of us were not disappointed. The pork belly on my sandwich was kissed with maple and it made the whole sandwich come together. And you can't go wrong with perfectly cooked eggs and the coffee bbq on the Big Boy. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area and I'm certain we'll have a repeat visit this week. The french toast and chicken and waffles smelled and looked awesome. Shout out to the serving team there! They made us feel at home and were also so dang personable.

This place's latte art caught my attention because that is definitely one of the crafts that distinguishes a coffee place, blurring the line between second and third-wave, in my opinion. I decided to give this place a try as it was more promising than anything I could find in the area. They had a good selection of drinks and standard drinks that you would find in any other coffee shop. I was also surprised to see that they also offered pourover options and had very good equipment, similar to the stuff I have at home in order to make it. This really piqued my interest. Unfortunately, the beans they had to make the pourovers or 4 to 6 months old, so I decided not to go with a pourover. Instead, I got a latte, which they actually did a beautiful job in terms of the latte art which told me that they knew how to properly get milk up to the right temperature and know how to layer the drink properly which gave me some hope. The latte was actually pretty good and I would actually come back for it. The people provided good service and were nice and patient . The ambiance was very basic and empty, with a lukewarm cafeteria-like design which made it feel like a first wave and was not pleasant. Other than that, I would called this a pretty solid hole in the wall that is worth checking out. 3.5/5

This is my second visit since the restaurant's most recent ownership change. Had Sunday brunch first visit. One of my friends doesn't eat eggs and asked if she could have a menu item that included eggs, a meat and breakfast potatoes. She asked if the eggs could be left off. She was told NO, so she then just ordered a bread and coffee. I don't understand the waitress response because we weren't asking to deduct the cost of the eggs! She just doesn't eat eggs! Turns out they were out of breakfast potatoes and wanted to bring us french fries instead. We declined. Really.....nothing special about this breakfast and very expensive and disappointing service. The only positive was the restaurant looks nice. Decided to give the restaurant another chance and went for lunch. Had soup and salad. I really only wanted a cup of soup, but that was not possible. Had a very good strawberry and watermelon salad and a giant bowl of corn bisque swimming in oil on top. Very unpalatable. Told the waitress and all I was offered was that they would tell the chef. The salad was $16 and the soup was uneaten and cost me $14! They did bring me the standard Stagecoach hush puppies before my meal and they were delicious! When I had heard the restaurant would be managed by the owners of Monument Cafe I was so excited. I love Monument, but this restaurant is too expensive for the poor quality of food. I would love to have the menu at Monument at this restaurant. The only positive is that the remodel of the restaurant is lovely in appearance. I wouldn't mind the prices if the food was delicious and it was not. I won't return nor will I recommend to my friends. Very disappointing.
