I randomly found this spot by accident and very happy I did. Did not expect Killeen to have a spot like this. The inside was super cool. Rustic and clean! The service was great! But to make it even better, the food was perfect! Everything is made from scratch. All the way down to the ketchup. We tried as much as we could and look forward to coming back! Great spot for breakfast, and the lunch looked just as good.

The vibe of this place was very quaint. Perfect for a breakfast for two. Coffee catch up with the girlies. I love local food spots that offer up great food with a side of Texas hospitality. The French toast was very savory and sweet. The bread was chef's kiss. Avocado toast was perfectly seasoned.

We were in Killeen and about to head to a chain restaurant for breakfast. We decided to look for something local and I'm so glad we did. Let's Eat Texas is right in downtown in the middle of the revitalization area. They are farm to table and the environment is so cool. There is an open kitchen so you can see the food being made. We had the breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito and both were great. The larger plates looked very good but we weren't very hungry today. Our server, Beth, was wonderful. We will be back.

This is such a hidden gem in Killeen! Great service, delicious farm-to-table food, and adorable interior. I randomly looked up places in the area and found this one and was not disappointed! Great prices too!

The food is amazing and I would highly recommend it, the inside of the restaurant has some comforting style interior and and open kitchen.

BUT LOOK FOR IT!! I would recommend you go there because the food is absolutely scrumptious and it is a gem. The owner says they are moving to a busier location in central Killeen soon, so that will make them more visible and get the reviews they really deserve. The food tasted like homemade, nothing artificial about it. My husband had some grilled chicken and some sweet potato mash and some asparagus that was also grilled. I had their delicious grilled salmon, sweet corn bread, asparagus, and brown rice. All of it was prepared as if you were at your grandma's house. The owner came out and spoke to I asked, asking questions. He said that they offer military discount, and they really take good care of their clients. The ginger tea was amazing. When we left we felt satisfied but not like we were not overstuffed and it was a nice experience compared to many of the chain restaurants that are all over the place in this part of Texas. If you are looking for a clean quiet and healthy option this is the place to go. And even if we are here for a couple days, we will def return for their smoothie bar concoctions and deli-style sandwiches. Highly recommend for food allergy sufferers and picky eaters

We learned about some awesome dishes, and even got to eat the dishes as they were served to us personally as if dining in a restaurant. Recently, the second time I hired Tye was after having my baby. I definitely needed some extra help in the kitchen and Tye was awesome! She gave me more super helpful cooking tips- this time showing me healthy options to feed my family. She made three scrumptious meals all of which were easy recipes that I could reproduce by myself. (She gave me copies of the recipes too!) I'm a bit of a germaphobe and I was impressed at how clean Tye kept everything while cooking. Her methods of cooking defiantly put me at ease appreciating her food even more! Most importantly, since this is a review about food, all of the food Tye has prepared for me has been **DELICIOUS!** It's amazing to be able to eat food so yummy that is part of a recipe so easy to make! They describe it as a "recreational" cooking class, which means there is some light cooking involved but they've done a lot of the heavy lifting which takes the stress out of the experience and maximizes enjoyment. There were about 15 people total in the class. It's BYOB and they give you all the recipes after. We attended the New American Mediterranean class. Menu items included strawberry gazpacho, an arugula salad, carrot hummus, lovely grilled chicken marinated in Mediterranean spices, and berry ricotta tarts for dessert. Each item was more epic than the last. My girlfriend and I agreed that this was the best meal we've had in a long time. Absolutely delicious! We can't wait to try some of the recipes at home, and attend another cooking class (possibly the Italian one!) soon.
