The cutest and most tastiest place to visit for a sweet or savory treat. My husband has been getting our croissants from his place for the last few weeks and I decided to try it on my own. This morning I got the lemon tart and creme' brulee and sweet baby Jesus the pastries are so good! Gifted hands are truly at work here. Highly recommended! read more

Once you enter the smell is so delicious. The food was yummy and the service was outstanding.

Everything. Overpriced and not impressive. Cute little place and subpar staff. Food was nothing worth the price.

The desserts were so beautiful. We could not wait to try everything. This is my third time here. This time I brought my family. Three stars for the ambiance, and beautiful presentation of each dessert. Two stars off for the texture of the creams. One was like a buttercream and it was like eating straight butter with a hint of sweet and the other was the texture of the custard in the pastry. The texture was gummy and stretchy instead of smooth and creamy. Very unusual though the flavor was nice. The favorite was the strawberry cheesecake. It was smooth and creamy with the perfect amount of sweetness. read more

Chic is a cute little bakery that you definitely should go to if you haven't already. I arrived just as they opened so they were still working on putting their goodies out. But with what was out, I already had a difficult time choosing what I wanted. I went with the lemon tarte and oh my, oh my. It was a bitter-sweet, creamy flavor! The biggest thing I loved was that the crust (I think it's called pate sable) did not fall or break apart like most tartes. It was perfect! I plan to come on a Sunday (Business hours are different than what is on the door) with my family so we can try more. So keep an eye out for an updated review! read more

Disappointed... I've drove by three times to get raspberry macaroons and they are out. I'm an hour away, I asked the girl upfront if they were even making them anymore and she said we don't even make them. She said They are ordered from a food distribution company out of Austin. They are mass produced. I'd go to the gas station if I wanted something ordered from a distribution company. It'd be a lot cheaper than buying it at your store. Thought I was paying top price for a fresh baked good...wow. read more

This Bakery is so adorable!!! The ladies here are so sweet! The croissants are so buttery, fluffy, and delicious. Everything in the case looks beautiful. Aesthetic is really their forte. Everything looks so pretty, you feel a bit hesitant to put a fork or bite into your order... We tried a few items and they are all so incredibly decadent. Definitely will be returning. Can dine in also, which is great. If you dine in let them know at the counter. read more

Freshly made pastries you can't beat that. Is a great place to get the best croissants in Killeen .

The best, please do not compare HEB pastries to CHIC. These people are the real deal. French bread delicious, everything is like art in a plate, not to sweet delicious. read more

WOW! Tried 2 savory and 2 sweet items and we were blown away. Will definitely be back.

One of a kind gem this place is!!! I love finding unique places here in Killeen and this fits the bill. I would definitely go early so you have your pick of what you want and the counter lady told me on Saturdays they have Specials. I had the flan slice, the large macaroon with fresh raspberries and the ham and cheese croissant(they toast it for you). Must try and I can't wait to go back and try more things!!! read more

I've been to this bakery cafe a couple times now. I love the atmosphere of this bakery. The music is pleasing. The décor is nice to look at. When I think of a French cafe, that's the vibe I get when I walk in. The people they hired to work the front always have a smile on their face and provide great service. I tried their croissant and their pain au chocolat because that's the first thing you're suppose to try at a French bakery right?! Conclusion, very delicious! The quality is consistent on both occasions! The best part according to the workers, is that it's made fresh every morning! (That's probably why the quality is consistent) Next time I'm going to have to try their fancier desserts! I wish I took a picture of the croissants but it tasted so good I had to devour it after the first bite. read more

I could not decide which one so took a couple different ones it tasting and smelled so good

When this place first opened, it was amazing! Lots of yummy choices. Whenever I go there now, there's hardly anything available. The choices are so limited. And they sell out super early. Most of the pastries advertised on their online menu they don't even make anymore. And what happened to the baguettes? The few items they do offer are delicious, it's just disappointing to drive all the way from Cove to get there and the bakery shelves are bare. read more

I only give them 3 stars due to the fact they do not sell what's on their menu online. Their websites says they sell baguettes, milk bread and other items but they don't. At first I thought they just sold out everyday but when I asked the lady at the register they said no they don't sell those items. Its really the only reason I was looking forward to this place. The croissants are ok. A few of the pastries I tried I liked but didn't love. I personally won't be back to this place just because they don't sell what their websites says. read more

Super disappointing. Was talking this place up to a couple new friends who never been here and we were all so disappointed frustrated. We all ordered coffee and waited 10mins but the poor girl wasn't able to work the coffee grinder machine and she couldn't refund us for it because she couldn't get a hold of the manager. She was the only one out front and one baker in the back. The display cases weren't working so the cold drinks were not cold. The pastries were not crispy & flaky like my previous experience. It's so frustrating when we try to support local small businesses but you leave feeling robbed. Save your time money & peace of mind. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for months and finally ordered for delivery. The croissants were literally perfect, incredibly light and airy while tasting like high quality butter. They were out of something I ordered and called right away to ask what I'd like to replace it with. THEN, they threw in an extra bun. The cafe au lait was delicious too, even without sugar. I'm looking forward to trying more! read more

Classy. Delicious. Wonderful staff. I believe my daughter had the salmon quiche that she loved. I had a fruit tart that was delicious I believe I had a cannoli that was pretty good some coffee that was delicious and two of their fruit drinks that was out of this world. Delightful patisserie on the west side of Killeen. My wife and I went here Friday afternoon and got an assortment of pastries, and they were all wonderful--- well worth the drive from Temple. Can't wait to return and try more goodies! read more

Very disappointing! It's called "Bakery", so you can expect Baguettes and other bread types. We went there to buy Baguettes and all they had was pastries, and some of 'em looked too brown! Nope, we won't go back! They need to change their name to "Cafe"!!! If they serve pastries and coffee, it's a Cafe! A bakery serves bread, we asked if we can have baguettes and the girl behind the counter who came out after 5 minutes of us waiting there said "let me ask my boss", she came back and said "not today, maybe tomorrow", what kid of business is that??? It's a Cafe with semi overcooked pastries, yeah, disappointing! I was born in Lyon, France and I won't be back! read more

I rate this as the best bakery in town I noticed they have been adding more to the variety of pastries and believe me it's all good I don't think they ever close at 7PM because they are always selling out early. We're hooked with my family read more
