Side of applesauce and what's left of the Bloomin onion

First off, got sat under a speaker and the music was very loud to us. Arriving at the table there was still a booster seat and a ton of trash. We had to ask for the floor to be swept. Meal wise, my wifes steak looked like the tip of the sirloin roast and although medium rare, was very dry. The manager did make it right and replace it. Much more palatable. The BBQ chicken was very moist, succulent and I devoured it. The fries coupled with the house ketchup produced an excessively salty experience. Not blaming the restraunt, just a note to self to ask for no seasoning on my fries. Still an excellent place to get a steak in Killeen. The staff care. The management prides itself on making things right.

Always a great experience at Texas Roadhouse! The food is consistently delicious - from the perfectly cooked steaks to the warm, fresh rolls with that addictive cinnamon butter. They even gave us a free packet of peanuts, which was a fun touch! I went here with a colleague after work, and we honestly had the best server we've ever had. He was so attentive, friendly, and made the whole meal extra enjoyable that we actually waited to tell his manager before leaving - that's how impressed we were. The lively atmosphere, generous portions, and fair prices make this place a go-to when you're craving a hearty meal in Killeen.

I had a great experience at Texas Roadhouse. I was in Killeen for a business meeting and wanted a good meal. Prime rib sounded great, and it was delicious. I sat at the bar, and the staff there were super friendly. Service was fast and efficient.

Always super busy but delicious, consistent and worth the wait! Busy and loud interior but what roadhouse isn't?

Ordered medium steak, got this cold, overcooked hunk of meat.

Waitresses were TOO available. Chicken fried steak was tasty but with some grizzle. Mashed potatoes and green beans were great.

We loved her. Now when my sister said they had good food, I did NOT expect it to be soooo delicious...yummy!!! I ordered the smothered pork chops & the serving was HUGE! I had enough for 2-1/2 meals! It was scrumptious! I loved everything, especially the onions they grilled (or however they cooked them). It was clear that whoever was in the kitchen absolutely knew what they were doing & they cooked with some extra helpings of love in there! My sisters had the fried catfish & I tried theirs & was completely blown away! It was truly one of the BEST fried catfish I have had since I've been in Texas...& that's saying a lot because I've tried a LOT of different places & my hips prove it every time I look in the mirror...lol! The crispness, the lightness, the perfectly seasoned batter & fish were above & beyond! OMGosh! I can't WAIT to come back...even though the drive is 2 hours away, it will definitely be worth it! Great job Hallmark! & thank you Jessie for making it such an enjoyable experience for us. God bless you all!

I got the fried chicken wings with gandule rice & empanadas. The chicken is so crispy & moist at the same time with juicy flavor that's not too salty. The gandule rice is perfect, not dry or hard, you can taste the flavors which makes it addicting! The empanadas!!! Yessss!!! Crust is flakey & the insides are moist & very flavorful! Ask for the garlic sauce, it was a little party in my mouth!! When you're looking for the place, it's on the left side In front of anther building. It's like a little stop truck. I believe they cater to other places & also they go to tyku a lot.

Its a Boricua own truck that serves cuban sandwiches, empanadas of all type of meats, pork, beef, chicken, and they also have Spanish rice and pull pork. Now looking as some of their previous pictures, I guess it depends of the location, the menu may be different. So let me talk about what I had. I had the spanish rice, with pull pork and beef empanada. They also included a slice of avocado in my plate. It was $8.00 for my plate and the serving was generous. Flavor, well, lets say I though my mama made this food, and I love my mama's cooking because she can cook. Rice flavor was not overbearing, it was just wright, the pull pork was also very flavorful and moist. The beef empanada was not greasy and the empanada was full of meat, unlike other places where the empanadas are full of air, hardly any meat. The meat had great flavor. They had special sauces you could add, but the flavors were such that I didn't have to add anything to it. Since this is a food truck, I have no idea of their hours or their next location, but their business card says to check them out Facebook@TheHotSpotGrill and if you subscribe, i guess you can check out their events and next spot. Unfortunately I don't have a Facebook account, but I do have a phone and I am sure that if I call them and I don't sound like a stalker, they will let me know of their next service spot which I would have no problem visiting. In case you are wondering, their ph # is 254-458-2150. I am all about promoting great places with great flavors!!! : )

Luckily, it recovered in time for me to pull in or else it would have been another loop around. I visited around 1:45p and was warmly welcomed. I identified as a first timer so the owner himself came over to explain the menu in a warm and frank manner. BBQ prices are taking a beating right now, so there is a market surcharge on brisket platters--and some (like beef ribs) are so overpriced they're just not sellable--even at cost. He explained several of their sides--and they do have some unique sides, like two types of macaroni and cheese (hatch and white cheddar), jalapeno ranch coleslaw were the ones that caught my interest and wallet. Chicken is half or whole, but all other meats are sold by the half- or full-pound. Sausage wasn't available that day, and a few things were already sold out. Which brings me to the next point. They are only open Friday-Sunday, and they close when they sell out. So get Mithere early for selection and not to miss out. I won't say it's like Snow's but I was there on a Friday. I only took my wallet as far as the smoked turkey. My order was to-go so I'm sorry not to have shareable photos, but the food was really all it was made out to be. They are a Texas BBQ Top 20 restaurant, so it's nice to see one of them live up to the hype. And BoB truly does. They normally offer wines from Fiesta Winery and mead from Curmudgeon in Lometa. Unfortunately on the day I was there, sodas and tea ruled the day since they were waiting on their beer and wine license renewal. I know and like Fiesta's product and it would be great to taste Curmudgeon's mead. The owner was very famiiar with both products and spoke extensively of them. Business was a bit slow, with one customer leaving and another on the outside patio. I attributed that to the lunch hour being over and to the weekday day. Seating is mostly outside, and with a gravel parking lot I'd imagine it could get dusty at times, not to mention uncomfortable depending on conditions. I'm glad I came here. Throwback BBQ establishment without the city-slicker appeal that focuses pride on their product and lets it sell itself.
