Their MCFLURRY MACHINE WAS BROKEN! I should have expected that to be the case when I rolled up...Micky D's are notorious for that. We decided to continue ordering, but only because we were firmly committed to the drive thru and really couldn't get out. We were so committed that we put up with the drive thru employee's rude tone, but I can sympathize with her...it had been a long day. Anyways, if you are looking for typical McDonalds middle-of-the-road service and food, look no further. read more

Had a bad experience from my visit this morning. Ordered two steak bagels and came home. Upon opening one of the bagels, it was discovered to be very sloppily made and uninviting to the palad. This place doesn't even DESERVE a star. As a matter of fact, I think they owe the people of Copperas Cove stars for going to their establishment. Stopped by to grab a quick bite between running errands and I'm SEVERLY disappointed. First, I wanted Dr Pepper to drink with my meal and all they had was powerade and hi-c. Second, I grew up in an era when you ordered fries with your burger, you got at least 3 or 4 ketchup packs without asking. Today it's 0. Apparently you have to include that with your order. I'm not gonna talk about the quality of the food because, we'll it's McDonald's and that has been going downhill across the country for years. read more

Waited in the drive through for 25+ minutes with 3 people ahead of me. I ordered a single large fry and waited 10 more minutes at the window. You can go to the next closest mcds in killeen, order your food, receive it, and drive back to cove all in the same amount of time it takes to wait in the drive thru. Not only that, during my wait, the employee inside dropped a few ice cubes on the counter by the sliding doors, picked them up with their bare fingers and placed them back into the supposed customer drink. Got on his phone a few times as well. Just step it up, the wait time for this mcds is insane every single time I go. To put the cherry on top they gave me a medium fry instead of a large ‍. if you don't mind waiting and getting the wrong order def head here . read more

I placed a breakfast order through the app around 10:15 AM, well before the breakfast cutoff, because I knew I wouldn't make it to the store in time. I arrived at 10:33 AM, just three minutes after the posted breakfast cutoff, expecting to pick up the meal I had already paid for. To my surprise, the drive-thru staff told me I couldn't receive my food because breakfast had ended -- even though I ordered and paid before the cutoff time. I understand policies exist for a reason, but my food was already paid for and I was only a few minutes late. Surely the kitchen still had the items available or could have made a small exception. What made it worse was the attitude of the employee. There was no apology, no explanation, and no effort to make the situation right -- just a flat "no" with no accountability. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. This kind of service is incredibly frustrating and not what I expect from a business that promotes mobile ordering as a convenience. Very disappointing experience overall. I won't be returning. read more

The McDonald's in Copperas Cove I don't know if it was the employees that was working that night but usually their french fries are crispy golden brown perfect but I ordered two basket of fries and they were so soggy so I don't know what the problem was with the fryers or your employees just didn't wanna make new french fries. That's all I have to say just do better if I'm being completely honest. read more

It's getting frustrating at this point...I understand missing sauces, I can ask for them, but it's extremely frustrating when I'm missing half my order! This isn't the first time, but it will be the last time. On top of the missing food items (yes, multiple) the staff were rude, practically throwing the sauce at me out the window for the items they forgot. The irony on that sentence. I understand they are busy, but I used to work there, and have witnessed someone acting the exact same way to a customer and get fired, so I don't understand how they are getting away with that! Please fix this because it's rude, frustrating, and not worth it anymore. read more

I went to McDonald's here in Copperas Cove TX, on the 16th of June my BIRTHDAY. I went there for the free item via the app and decided to get a 2 extra Mcdoubles with no salt and no pickles, also a large coke with lite ice totaled around $7.57. Also this is after 11pm. I did this curbside seeing how the traffic was and saw which vehicles were at the drive through menu after paying for the curbside option and checking in. I listened to 4 songs all between 3-4 minutes long. So already at the minimum its after 12 minutes, I checked my app to see how much longer till my food would be out and it said 2-5 minutes. so another 2 songs later I looked out my truck mirrors and no one is seen. Not outside, not in the lobby coming outside, nothing. So I called to check the status and was told that my food had not even been made yet even though all the vehicles that were at the menu when I made my order had already left. Mind you this is over 15 minutes after I made my order and sitting around for my order to be delivered curbside. So I asked them to cancel my order and refund it. I was told they can't and I would have to do it via the app, while on the phone I did not see any option in my order or anywhere to request a refund or canceling my order. I then told them again to cancel my order and refund it and again was told the same thing. So I said I would be coming inside to speak to a manager and the guy never told me that it was locked outside to the public at that time. So after checking both doors and feeling stupid I went back inside my truck already annoyed. I called again and asked to speak to a manager and told them what all transpired and again asked for a refund and she said "Oh your at the curbside correct?" which I replied yes to, then the line was quiet I was thinking she was coming outside but nope that wasn't the case. After 5 minutes of waiting I could hear over the phone which she left off the hook another employee named 'Jose was cussing up a storm saying F this and F that and MF this. Also that customer needs to do it via the app F them. All these f bombs were directed at me and I could hear all of this, as I was saying hello multiple time and still no answer. So I hung up and called back 6 times because it was busy. I then saw a female employee coming outside so I asked her to let her manager know I wanted to speak to them. She said she just got off and still tried to enter and it was locked then told me she couldn't get back in and could call in. Also she asked if I was the person at the curbside and I said yes. She told me my food had been done for a good while and not sure why it was not even delivered. I said fine then I will just call corporate and have them deal with this. I left the parking lot over 30 minutes after I made my order, and went to Whataburger which was another 5-10 minute drive depending on the lights and traffic. I called again as I was pulling up and waiting the phone was answered and I asked again for the manager and told them about that prior call and what I had overheard, that I was expecting them outside but they weren't and that I also wanted to file a complaint against that employee and wanted his name. She told me his name and I even told her as his manager she should have told him to shut up and to be professional which she did not. She said that she thought she said she was going to ask another manager about canceling the order and how to do this. I told her that is not what I heard then she asked me if I was still outside at the curbside which I told her no I was outside Whataburger to get my food there and that it was a great way to end the day on my BIRTHDAY of all days and that I only initially came there for the free item and decided to get more. I told her I would be calling corporate about this issue and that she had better file that complaint and I would be telling corporate about this. A few days later I saw on my bank I was charged not $7.57 that was on my receipt but almost $9 dollars. So I called my bank around July 4th and asked them to reverse the charges and what all had transpired. Today it is August 9th and after 6 calls and told it was escalated to their regional office I still have not received a phone call, text, voicemail, or email regarding this. Again I NEVER RECIEVED ANYTHING so its not like I hated my food because there was none. This is all because I wanted to cancel my order and get my money back, then the extremely bad service plus the extremely rude employee that by the way everyone around my truck heard since my windows were down and it was on Bluetooth through my speakers. By the way I think that the rude employee may have been the other manager since they were not told to shut up by the other manager. It has to be that or extremely terrible management to manage their employees properly. read more

Terrible service, it took an excessive amount of time to get my food in the drive thru, even though 4 cars behind me got their food at the window and drove off before I got ours. The quality of the food was poor (even for McDonald's). I don't expect excellent food but with higher prices, you bet I want at least good food. The fry box wasn't even full (see picture) and they were lukewarm at best. The burgers were slathered in mayonnaise, inside AND outside the burger, also lukewarm at best not hot. If you're going to make me wait for my food for 10 minutes, you might as well make it hot and right! Do yourselves a favor and drive into Killeen if you feel like McDonald's! Better yet, for the price and for better quality food, just go to Chik-fil-a. read more

10 May 2024 @ 2345 hrs I waited in the drive thru for over fifteen minutes. Once I get to the window, the rudest employee I've ever ran into was at the window. I almost made a scene because of her rudeness and on to of my request she never answered me and just stuck my bag out the window. My request was for ketchup and was my special order in the bag. She never responded and turned her back on me and closed the window. I was furious. I will drive to Killeen Texas before I go to this facility again and I'm going to start a protest for everyone else to do the same. My special order wasn't in the bag and I decided not to go back to the restaurant because I was very angry. I ordered 2 sandwiches 1 large fry and 2 apple pie with the app and i went thru the drive thru. after 20 minutes and 10 cars getting their food before me, i complained to a McDonald's worker. It turns out they gave my food to the wrong people, and she promised to get the food out to me right away. I waited another 10 minutes and they were again serve more cars prior to mine. I got out of my car went into the restaurant and I was informed again that they had given my food to the wrong car. I very angrily demanded to talk to the manager, it turns out the people I had been talking to were both managers. I was loudly complaining to the manager that she was an incompetent buffoon. She asked me to quiet down and I loudly told her that I would talk as loud as I wanted to and again that she was incompetent. It took them almost 6 minutes to get me my food and by the time I got it home and my house is within 1/2 mile from the restaurant my food was tepid at best. This is a horrible restaurant run by incompetent buffoons. The managers neither one of them offer in any way to make up for their mistake they just wanted me to quiet down about their inability to do their jobs. read more

The price of food at McDonald's is too much for the quality, the food socks! and customer service is crappie, if you are at the pickup counter trying to ask for something like salt or pepper the employees will walk pass you 10 times & don't pay any attention, my daughter has a disability & can't speak so she has to use her phone to talk & when she went to the counter to ask for something the employees just kept walking by & another thing I don't appreciate is the employee's yelling at each other's to the point that the whole dinning room hear & 1 employee using bad language. I've worked a fryer for 5 years and I can tell you if you've ever gotten something that looks like this, like burnt but when you bite it it doesn't have the burnt texture, it's from a dirty fryer. This looks and tastes like they haven't cleaned their fryer in a long while as far as time to clean your fryer goes. I personally ate it because I didn't want to waste my money but I definitely didn't give it to my kid. It was gross and I suffered through it. Also wayyyy to much salt on the fries, if you see my picture of fries, just know that it was taken *after* I shook the ever loving sodium out of those fries, and there's still that much salt on them. This establishment is by far the worst ever!! The workers are just there to socialize with each other because no one is doing there jobs. These people hand out the incorrect order and get made when a refund is requested. Worked there for almost a year and I can tell you that they have the worst food safety of any Mcdonald's I've ever seen because of the god awful managers. (The owner is a great guy though). They only actually have food safety when the health inspector is there. Everything went good until I received my order. That messed up my whole experience at this McDonald's. My order was somewhat big, 30 dollars worth. When I received my order, it looked like everything was just half-ass thrown into one bag. Like, the paper wrap on the burgers was barely wrapped exposing the burgers and barely hanging on from the cheese. The cashier asked me if something is wrong and I showed her. Her excuse was "oh, haha we have a bunch of teenagers back there haha". And my response was "ohkayyy, I guess. It's good, just expect a bad review, thanks" smh as I walked out. This is one of the worst customer service I experienced at a McDonald's establishment. At least put a little effort into your work.
