We found ourselves in the area unexpectedly, and the young man we were with wanted a sandwich. It was my first time at a Jersey Mike's. The menu is a step above that of a Subway. The staff was understanding, as the young man we were with can be a bit challenging. The place could use a deep clean, but we arrived after the lunch rush. Since it is fast food, my expectations were low to begin with. Overall, the food was better than what you'd get at Subway. Today I was informed by the insurance company they won't pay my lost wages due to their product being spoiled. The insurance company went on to say jersey mikes passed a health department inspection. Hello, I have ordered from Jersey Mike's for a few years now. My wife and I order about 2 sandwiches a month. The last 3 times we ordered from this location there has always been a problem with our order. The first problem was the sandwiches were the wrong order, the second time the sandwiches were the right order but the chips were not included and the drinks were the wrong order, this time the cashier gave me the wrong bag and I noticed the name did not match mine. When the cashier grabbed my bag, the sandwiches were not made yet. I patiently waited for the correct sandwiches. I feel this is a management problem. Ordered my normal sandwich that I have saved as a favorite on my app. I got 2-3 times every single week. Comes with a drink and chips. Same drink and chips every single time. I always do curbside pick up. I pull up. Wait 20 minutes in my car and see everyone else come and leave so I get out and go inside to PICK UP my CURBSIDE order. It's sitting there on the counter, I pick it up and it's just the sandwich. I ask where is my chips and drink are she tells me I didn't pay for that. I have the receipt on my phone and I clicked " favorite " so I know for a fact that it's on there. She made me pay for ANOTHER drink and chips and refused to give me my order or to bring it outside. We love Jersey Mikes. They are a little more than a typical fast food joint but the food is fresh. They have the Mike's way which is not for everyone. They do accommodate very well and have other condiments if you request it. The staff is very friendly. There are times that I am miss understood when I say my toppings requested as I speak too fast. A few of the sandwich artists will clarify but some just proceed. I do not like lettuce on my sandwich. They do have good lettuce but I prefer no lettuce. Just ask and they generally will accommodate. The grilled subs are good but I prefer grilled wraps if I am doing grilled. Cold subs I generally get a mini. This is a very good establishment, worth your time. read more

See my tip. Had a rather disgusting experience and won't be back. The owner should be aware of the unsanitary practices and health code violations. I left after cashier sneezed openly at register next to sandwich prep area. He downplayed it as allergies meanwhile kept touching his snot nose in between touching napkins, cups, sandwiches, money etc without using gloves or washing hands. Management should review camera footage. I'm sure that place is a breeding ground for germs. I cancelled my order and went home. You've just lost a regular revenue stream. Sadly, after my family gave you a second chance. I'm empathetic to allergies and sickness, but when you're handling food its unacceptable. This especially irks me because Temple is already cursed with horrible dining options and awful food handling practices. I've used this location for catering pick up orders several times in the past couple months for work meetings, I'm talking anywhere from 10-30 sub boxes at a time and not once have we been disappointed had a wrong order or bad service. ***************(THURSDAY)*************** First time EVER at a Jersey Mike's. I can honestly say- their subs are much fresher than Subway's. They have many items on their menu to choose from. The location has recently opened- so as far as the atmosphere- it's extremely clean. And has both, inside & outside seating. I ordered a 'Giant' size sub- and requested for it to be cut in half... Before I left- they noticed it was a slight 'MixUp' of the sandwiches (from another half sandwich)- and from feeling the temperature of the sandwich (I ordered a 'hot' sub)- they put the 'warmer' one into my bag... And- As I got home (later in the night)- I noticed I received the wrong sandwich (after closing hours)- but that's due to me being a distraction to the employees- cuz I can get a bit OVER FRIENDLY @ times--- You would've sworn I was a 'greeter'. Lol... So I wouldn't say, anyone else will have an issue. :) They have an AMAZING staff- from what I observed. Extremely professional & friendly. *Daven is extremely bubbly & has awesome leadership skills. *Marisa is so adorable & hard working. (I heart her Beauty Mark) :) ... ('Heart' means 'love'- for those who didn't get it. This is a really great place for a sub. There are two sizes: regular and giant. A regular sub, chips, and a small (22 oz) drink costs about $10. That was PLENTY of food for me and I consider myself an average eater. The sub I had (Bar-B-Q Beef) was hot and delicious. The bread was perfect! I will definitely be back but I probably won't get any chips. A regular sub was more than enough for me. I saw that they also offer offer various wraps. I think you can request your sub to be made into a wrap if you prefer. Drinks: They serve Pepsi products, Dr Pepper, Diet Dr Pepper, sweet tea, unsweet tea, and flavored tea. Staff/Atmosphere: The service was quick and friendly. The restaurant itself is very clean but a bit on the small side. There is some seating outside but don't try to come here with a dozen people in your group. Tips: The hot subs take a little longer to make. (I waited about 10 minutes from when I ordered til it was ready) If you are in a hurry, get a cold sub. Also, you can order ahead via the store's website. Went to get a sub on 9/26/22 in the afternoon at temple Tx bRANCH At 31st street , and I literally walked out after seeing a very rude and unprofessional staff group being really rude and trying to bully a door dash delivery guy who went to pick up an order , I watched them tell him somebody else had picked up the order and right after the driver walked out they were laughing saying " now he is gonna be late and loose the delivery" , I was a bit confussed at the staff's behaviour while I waited, then the same gentleman walked in and said he had called the customer and nobody had delivered and asked them again if they could prepare the order, the staff continue laughing and literally prepared other customer orders VERY SLOW and made the poor dash delivery driver wait ... this bothered me at the point that I walked out and told the STORY to all my friends so they can avoid this place, not to mention they talk almost over your food and only one of them was wearing gloves .... If I see this door dash driver again I will definitely encourage him to sue them if he got in trouble that DAY because of the Jersey mikes's disgusting staff... I visit this Jersey Mikes all the time and order a #44 with ranch instead of bleu cheese!! With everything going on right now with the pandemic, I was skeptical of ordering takeout. When I walked in, everything looked very different but in a good way. There were tapes of social distancing zones. Obviously the supervisor made sure there were enough employees to cover the store. Every one of them had a smile on their face and took care of me! Also it's very sanitary in the store. They have a guy cleaning everything each customer touches! My boyfriend and I are very fond of Jersey Mikes and have been eating here regularly since we moved to the area. Last night though I was not impressed at all with my food. In fact despite paying more for extras I was pretty let down and disappointed. I ordered a #9 like I usually do but this time requested extra meat and mustard. Both halves of the bread were soaked in mustard causing it to overpower any other flavors so I had to wipe off as much as possible. From what I could see there was zero mayo on either side, no bacon at all and very little turkey. I was only able to eat a small part of my meal and that was only by picking off what meat and cheese there was and eating just that. The bread was entirely too mushy from the mustard to enjoy even after i wiped off as much as possible. I will most likely give this chain a rest and use Subway for awhile before giving them another try. I should also note this was an order I placed through the app so I only ran inside to pickup then returned home. After I discovered the state of my meal I was too tired to call and discuss it with the store. I'd had a long day and just wanted to eat & go to bed. read more

Staff there was awesome and very nice. However, our food was drenched in red wine vinegar and oil, and my roast beef was bright red with spots on it...I've never seen roast beef like that in my life! We ate it though and it was fine until that night...my whole family was hit with food poisoning. Not sure if we want to go there anymore after that experience. read more

Restaraunt was very dirty, food under all tables and tables were all dirty, no one was in there so there was no reason for it not to be clean. One of the workers making the sandwiches was eating the pickles while he was making the sandwich. One last thing they were out of all the teas.
