I was immediately greeted at the order counter. My order was quickly placed for the salad bar, a cup of beef stew, and a medium fountain drink. I was handed my drink cup and a number to place on my table. I had barely gotten my drink and set it on the table and the soup, salad bowl, and a plate with two corn muffins was available to pick up. The salad bar had a lot of fresh options! The iceberg lettuce, salad greens, and the spinach was fresh with no wilted pieces that I could see. To name a few, they had Kalamata olives, beets, thinly sliced cucumber and radish, artichoke hearts, pepperoncinis, many different freshly made dressings, crisp, buttery croutons and even a few desserts. There also a large variety of fountain drinks and several different tea varieties to choose from. Employees were constantly wiping down the salad bar and replenishing items. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch and will be back next time I am in the area! read more

Terrible customer service from Stacy, the manager on duty. She seemed more concerned with getting the line down quickly than actually paying attention to the customer in front of her. The interaction felt rushed and dismissive, and I did not feel that my concerns were given proper attention. As a manager, she sets the example for her team, and based on my experience, I'm not sure how she can effectively teach her employees the importance of providing attentive and respectful customer service. read more

Long story short... I stopped by Jason's Deli for a to go order, Turkey Caprese Panini. Just to be clear, I wouldn't be writing this review if my sandwich was at least warm, not only was it cold, but the cheese was barely melted, and there was enough spinach on there to make a salad. The bigger disappointment was having to go re- purchase lunch . I don't recommend, I won't be a return customer. read more

Every time I come in here, I get harassed by a guy named Alan. First time he yelled at us because we used our small salad plates to put our eggs on. And the second time he yelled at us and told us to move tables because we "sitting incorrectly at his tables". I usually like going to these places, but I probably won't ever come back. Oh and the guy wasn't wearing his name tag I had to ask him what his name was and he's like oh I forgot my name tag he had to go put it on. read more

06.26.2025 - JASON'S DELI - KILLEEN, TEXAS - I've always passed this place and never bothered to go in. I was surprised to have enjoyed their Garden Salad and their Pastrami Sandwich build your own - first time here, so I had no idea all the portions are extremely big - my pastrami sandwich was put on a French bread - I had no idea what I was doing when I ordered - first time here - but overall - I can return and eat the salad alone - the sandwich was so delicious - everything so fresh and the restaurant was nice and clean - workers were extremely nice read more

Out of all the Jason deli I visit. This location 3213. central Expy will ruin your appetite. There is horrible communication within their staff. Your order will come out incorrectly every time - the total opposite of how you want it. The manager or anyone else will not even offer to replace your order. Do not visit this location avoid it!!! read more

Stopped in after exploring the area of our new home and checking things out. Stopped at Jason's Deli, love their food and the best pastrami and corned beef south of NYC. Had the New Yorker on the Marble Rye, would prefer regular seeded rye but this will do. Restaurant was very clean and service was very efficient. Could watch the Kitchen are while I was waiting and they were in constant motion. Very professional staff and courteous. Keep up the great work read more

Tried out the Killeen location again on the hope it would be better than the last couple of times I went. It wasn't. I ordered the cheese and broccoli soup and salad bar. Soup was barely warm and served in an ice cold bowl. The lettuce from the salad bar was wilted and has obviously been sitting there out of temp for too long. The salad bar was very unkempt and obviously not maintained with different foods contaminating others. To cap it off there were roaches. Sat down and was eating when my girlfriend pointed out a roach crawling on the table. We brought it to the attention of the manager, Rocky, who shrugged it off and refused to talk to us. If there are roaches in the seating area this place is definitely infested with them. When you see one there are a hundred you don't see. This place is disgusting. read more

Pay attention to your order. I got way more than what I wanted . And when I tried to corrected it I was ignored. I wanted a bowl of soup and 4 extra bread stuff to go. And a salad bar... paid $39 ish.. looked at my receipt band thought it looked high and wrong but the cashier walked away... she has problems.. should have known it was way off when on my salad bar was a small soup. Got the 4=extra bread.. but got 2 large soup and 1 small soup. Not what I wanted but paid for. I like the other staff here just really watch the cashiers. Not really paying attention Other wise love this place read more

Unfortunately, not the best experience. Ordered to go at counter, host was not friendly. They were not busy, only a few people in the restaurant. I ordered a sandwich, salad and 2 soups. It took over 40 minutes to get the order and thats after i asked for an update on the eta. :( people arrived after me and was getting the food before me. Needless to say, I was not happy with this experience at all. read more

Decided I wanted a baked potato when my eyes opened. So I ordered one. Sadly the employees were rude! " Isn't it breakfast time" I spend my money here faithfully. So to be greeted with rudeness isn't ok. Then for it to be manager and employee was even more distasteful. Not to mention the general manager made eye contact and never approached me... after saying I have a complaint. read more

I recommend that you dont come here if you have somewhere to be. Made my order and forgot about it.

Managers and HR treat employees like crap. I'm done with this place. Water bugs always at salad bar. I caught a manager spraying pesticides one night. read more

Got the special broccoli and cheese soup potato yummy and huge maid two meals for two out of it!

17 dollars for a 1/4 of a sandwich chips and fruit with a medium drink seems a little high

Just placed my order my food and the cashier did not provide a welcoming attitude. In other words, the cashier rude and inpatient. I placed my order at 11:39 am and I am host#13. Even as I am eating my food, the rude cashier gave me this mean look as if he wanted to do something wrong. Please fix the customer service issue. Thank you. read more

I was impressed with Team at Jason's Deli. Our cashier was a quick, kind, friendly and accommodating (I'm a Vegetarian). We ordered the grilled cheese with broccoli and cheese soup and also a trip to the salad bar. All D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!!! As I was headed back from the salad bar - one of the cashiers noticed that I was carrying my salad, a cup of dressing, a cup of beets and balancing as best I could. She noticed and with out asking came over with a bag for my plate and then went away and came back with cutlery. We were touched. We felt like we got good food and were treated decently. We've been going to Jason's off and on for years. Job well done. read more

SUPERB! I enjoy coming here with the wife! They have a salad bar that is amazing. Their Soups are good too. The sandwiches are amazing and burst with flavor. The service was great! The place also has a nice laid back look to it. read more

Love their selections of samiches, especially the pineapple chicken salad on croissant! Soups are always good, hot, and hearty. Strawberry shortcake is a great desert. I've never had a problem with their salad bar. And I always leave with a free ice cream cone! BUT... this evening I ordered two sandwiches for pick-up, but I only got ONE pickle spear. I'm being picky, but a good pickle is necessary when eating a deli samich!! read more

I have been to this place every week with a friend. I get a salad bar and cup of broccoli cheddar soup. I talked my husband into trying it on 5/18 at 7 for dinner. What a huge mistake. First of all 1 salad, soup, sandwich (club) and 2 drinks were $30!!! Then the salad bar was out of a lot of things and not restocked. The soup was watered down. I know this because of 30+ years as a restaurant manager! I said something to the "manager" on duty. She was a stout shorter woman. She argued with me saying that's how it is made. It had been watered down to extend it to close. I have seen it dozens of time. Front sneeze shield covered in soup and other splatters. Salad bar closed down at 7:30 with a line up front. Front line was a mess!! How disappointing!!! read more

I came in. The restaurant was clean. I was greeted by Jordan before I even got to the register. She was helpful with finding a meal for a kid. She was patient even as the line begin to build up. There wasn't a lot of staff. Brandon was the manger. He made sure our order was good. Our food was great and still in the appropriate temperatures upon arriving home. read more

Great service, friendly staff! We really enjoyed our lunch and hope to make it back again soon.

We don't come here often, but Saturday morning was a great visit. We came early and the food was great! People started coming after we were almost done with our meal. The chicken tortilla soup was really good. It was fresh and hot and not very thick like paste, you know like the one in Chili's restaurant. Our sandwiches was also good. Hubby ordered the chicken croissant/toasted and it soooo yummy. I ordered the half a sandwich and a bowl of soup. The pastrami sandwich was also good. The only weird thing I think is that, the plate for one trip to the salad bar is smaller than the all you can eat one. I think that's backwards don't you think. It's not like I can eat everything on my plate, it's just I think it should be the other way around. But bottom line, we were very satisfied on our visit and the staff were very friendly and the place was clean. Saved us a trip to Georgetown, Souper Salad. We will definitely return and also come in the morning. Please keep up the great quality customer service! read more

Always appreciate there quick response and be sure to ask for the little bag for the muffins if you grab a to-go.

The lady who took our order was unfriendly. My husband was placing his order, she stated the potato chip flavors, my husband asked her to repeat, she closed her eyes, rolled them, sighed and repeated. Very unprofessional! The food was good, the ice cream machine appeared broken and was oozing liquid. There were a bunch of wadded up napkins soaking up the mystery goo. Typical Killeen service. read more

Jasons has also been a bit expensive considering. But there was one item that was great. The salad bar. I would typically get it to go and the employees would FILL IT UP. It was worth the price to me. The last few times I've done pickup ive noticed my box not even half way full so I asked why. Its now policy to measure out a smaller amount. While the price remains the same. And its not like you can measure it out yourself now. Pretty scummy of the corporation. Will not be returning read more

Food is just ok. The employees and manager, Roy, are unprofessional and don't care about customers or customer service. Went in today and ordered soup and salad bar. Soup was just ok. The salad bar was just your basic salad bar, nothing special. The problem came when I went to go get another dish for the salad bar. I went up with the little stub of paper showing I had paid for the salad bar and was denied another dish. I tried telling the employee this is what your other employee said to do she still refused. Then she came to my table and gave me a dish and told me something to the effect of I'll give you another one just this time. Like she was doing me a favor. I asked to speak to the manager. Roy acted like he could care less. It was obvious he wasn't going to do anything about it by his body language and tone of voice. Why would I pay 10$ for a salad? Why does this place insist on treating paying customers like thieves and not giving them what they pay for? Unacceptable. read more

First time here. Ordered a custom sandwich-roast beef on rye w/lettuce, tomato and mayo. Cheese was extra. Roast beef was tasteless and had more than its share of gristle. Plus, it was well-done. Tomato slices were hard, rye bread was just ok. You could get better and fresher at a grocery store. Sign says 'free ice cream', but there was nothing there (cone or cup) to get your 'free' ice cream. Since I had gotten my order to go, I didn't have time to stand in line again to ask. Also, they need a sign that says 'ORDER AND PAY HERE' instead of having someone walking all up and down the deli counter trying to figure out where to order as the cash register up front clearly said: 'CLOSED'. Probably won't venture out to Jason's again. read more

Service was excellent, couldn't ask for better. Place was clean. Drink station was well stocked. We ordered a Rueben, a panini and basic potato with two teas. Price a little over $43.00. The panini was perfect - it had more than enough turkey and guacamole and just spicy enough that you know it and not so much you are on fire. The potato was large and well stuffed with cheese, green onion, sour cream and butter, and smoky bacon bits. I was worried at first because the butter wasn't melted but when mixed in it melted right away. Sweet tea was excellent. The Coke was barely fizzy. And the major problem was the Rueben- the meat was chewy and I mean like a rubber band. Literally pulled a piece of meat off the sandwich and couldn't tear it - it stretched like a rubber band. Also while there was plenty of meat on it, it was a relatively small sandwich. For the price tag this should have been better. We shared the panini and potato ( and fed the pastrami to the dog). We hadn't been to a Jason's in years - it's gonna be a few more before we come back. read more
