From walking in post-lunch rush, to the staff making sure my daughter and I were sent off with a happy farewell, this was a pleasant experience at this location! The food was fresh, every person who stood in line, the drive thru, and to-go customers were greeted and made sure they were communicated with. And even past the rush hour, the dining area and bathrooms were very clean! The day was colder than normal, but I was able to take off my coat and enjoy the late daddy-daughter lunch with comfort. We placed an online catering order a day before for an event we had and needed food for 50 people. The order was almost $500. It was $75 alone for delivery in the same area, so we opted to pick it up. The time was set to pick up at 12:30. We got there right on time and waited over 40 minutes. The food was not ready. They were super dismissive and rude. Nobody tried to help us carry the food out or check that it was even all correct, so me and one friend had tons of stuff to carry. They did not include the fortune cookies or things we asked for on the side and when I asked where the cookies were, she said they were out, but I saw people sitting in there eating and they all had them and they were selling bags of them at the register. Also, it was just lunch time how were you out when it's not of the only things you need to keep stocked... Nobody updated us while we were waiting. We stood there forever, even standing where we could ask somebody a question and nobody acknowledged us. We will never do a meal from here again. At very minimum they should've had the food ready on time. They had plenty of heads up they knew we were coming and the customer service was absolutely unacceptable. We stood in the online pick up area for about 10 or 12 minutes before anybody acknowledged us and then when the lady did, she just looked at us and said it ain't ready and walked off. No apologies. On March 6th, I was contacted by American Express when my credit card was fraudulently used twice at this Panda Express location in Temple, Texas (I'm in California). They took immediate action to block any further transactions and investigate. I was then surprised to find email confirmations of the fraudulent dinner orders, using my Panda Express account. I called the store, but no one answered. I decided to try again a few minutes later and was so glad when Benny answered. After just a couple sentences letting him know that my AMEX was fraudulently used at his store, he apologized for what I was experiencing and was already at the register searching for the orders. In a matter of minutes, he successfully reversed both transactions! Although there was no fault by the store, his sincere empathy for the situation was so kind and much appreciated in that moment. He explained that I should receive emails of the reversals and said to call again should there be issues. Such impressive service from Benny! I hope Panda Express takes notice to recognize and reward his actions. He is a credit to the team and sets the example to follow. read more

I see why this place doesn't even have 2 stars! Go ANYWHERE ELSE but here! I ordered from Grub Hub and when my driver went to pick up the order, they gave my order away to someone else. My GH driver was so nice and waited there, even recommended that I called the store. She had asked them to re-make the order and they refused. I called and they gave me the same story. Like oh well, we gave it away, you have to deal with GH. I told them this was their error, not mine. They can fix this my simply making my order and giving it to the driver that was waiting for them. They continually refused. Put me on hold. And nothing! I can't even believe customer service this awful still exists. Panda Express is my guilty pleasure, but something is deeply wrong with this location. I've given it a few chances, but they are always somehow out of key menu items. If and when you DO manage to get your food, the quality and taste is really... off? Out of 2 of the entree options, accepted an option that was #3 desired entree. portions were ample, food was under room temperatur, consistency was mushy and gooey, taste was "Old" as if it had sat for possibly most of the day. Also my plate was super lightweight and I don't think it was worth $15. I see that it gets very stressful for the Employees when to the lobby gets full. Hello, I've been in the restaurant industry over a decade so I've got a pretty good understanding how things work for the most part. I've never seen such poor service and standards from a fast food restaurant before in my life. I can not go to the Panda Express on W Adams in Temple, TX past 7:00 pm on any night due to them now having half the menu available and horrible customer service. I would recommend looking at sales data and trends to see why sales are down in the evening and why only certain items are sold. The last time I went with husband and granddaughter and we ate inside. 4 star because not a fan of their drink selections. Would have enjoyed zero products like Coke or Pepsi zero (not diet). I gave this store 5 stars for several things. The food is always outstanding and you really can't mess up the way they cook etc etc. For the crowd they keep the store cleaner than expected honestly. The number one reason for me rating this store 5 stars is due to the customer service one particular individual gave to me and my family. During a VERY stressful rush with a chaotic bottleneck due to a lady running to her car in the rain for her payment the situation became very, let's just say, out of a storybook. Anyways some things happened, words and attitudes between customers became exchanged and a young lady employee by the name of "Honey" on her badge completely toned the situation down with the calmest and most thought provoking demeanor I have ever witnessed in CS. She took our situation instantly from from being destroyed to almost like receiving a brand new car. I appreciate her approach, her professional attitude and mostly in this situation her kind heart for her ability to stop, ask and just listen. I had to shake her hand before we left and she even followed procedure after that and washed her hands before going back to work with gloves. Shining star in my book. read more
