This CFA is the worse in the area. I have given this place more than a couple chances to change my mind. Harker Heights is the best for moms with kids and wants a safe and peaceful visit. Killeen has no playground so unfortunately we are stuck with either copperas cove or Harker heights. I live five minutes from this location and I rather drive to Harker Heights. Also be carful asking for sauce at this place they have an older lady in particular who is beyond rude over sauce. It's not the fact that u have to pay for the sauce it's her tone of voice and energy that's awful. Don't come to this location if you want the amazing CFA experience. read more

Isn't chick-fil-a known for their customer service? Coming through the drive thru and it's clear the person that helped did not want to work today. I don't eat the food, but wanted a milkshake. Terrible communication and did NOTHING to fix the situation. Went to pick up an online order and I was picking up for someone so I had gone through the drive thru but it was placed through for pick up either inside or curbside and they wouldn't tell me if the food was there or not . The lady I was speaking with was just saying she can't tell if it was there or not she didn't know. I had sat there for about three minutes with her and in those three minutes the couldn't go check and see if the order was there or not. Like 10 feet or so. Very unhappy and disappointed with my service and not a single time did any one say "my pleasure." I wasn't even thanked at all for anything. I haven't had a single chick fil a experience like this or where they didn't try to go above and beyond for me. The shift lead on duty was not very helpful either. The only thing she said was that she would speak to whoever I spoke with. It's funny because the shift lead had a moment to come speak to me but not a moment to check and see if the order was there... UNSATISFIED. I will not be returning to this chick fil a, if I want chick fil a I'd rather go to Killeen than come back here. 0 stars honestly. Not sure if they gave me the bottom of the tea barrel, but we asked for 2 sweet teas. One tasted alright in the sense you could distinguish it was sweet tea just not the best, the other tasted like poop :/ or maybe just unsweet tea that was also bad? I could've been fine with that, but when I started to dig into the bag it just ruined the experience. They gave me 2 packets of ketchup for two adult combos of a 12 count and a sandwich w/ fries, my fatass needs at least 2 ketchups for myself on just the fries . . So that was just straight up upsetting. All the nice crispy fries and no sauce to finish them with. Rip. Went to location and order about $50 worth of food. The young lady tried to hand me 4 separate bags, I asked her if she would please put it in a big bag. Had to drive back around and wait in the car line again (still slow) to have my meal corrected. Great food, atmosphere and staff! Normally LOVE this place BUT right now I'm HATING how you have your young smiling workers in the freezing cold taking orders...REALLY!! I feel guilty ordering from them! Imagine if it was your son or daughter freezing in 10-15mph winds with the temperature feeling like 39 degrees. That is ONLY 7 degrees above the temperature at which water FREEZES! You're better than this! I don't believe that you value profit over the health and well being of the young people who run your business for you. Surely there is a protocol that you follow in inclement weather. While in Texas visiting family, we stopped at this location several times. Every time we stopped here there seemed to be one common theme " Customer Service". The restaurant is able to handle large volumes of customers efficiently. We were able to place our order quickly in spite of the long lines. We had a party of 12, and the cashier was able to get our order 100% correct. Once our order was ready the same cashier brought our order to our table. The food tasted great and the value for money was competitive. The restaurant was mostly clean as all of the trash cans were full. The staff at this restaurant were smiling and polite in spite of how full this restaurant was. Seeing that many customers in this restaurant tells me that something is doing something right. read more

Thinking about using Chick-fil-A for a business event? DON'T. I pre-ordered breakfast for 20, for a business meeting, from the Copperas Cove location. Pick up time of 8:00am. I arrived at 7:45, knowing I was early, and paid. At 8:15, an employee came out to tell me that it would be an additional 10 minutes because they had to make more biscuits. When I expressed that this wasn't OK, as I would now be late for my meeting despite pre-ordering with plenty of advance notice, his excuse was "I just clocked in". Further, when I asked who the manager on duty was so I could callback later, he gave me the name of the franchisee (Steven Kennedy, I believe). I left with my food, and arrived late to my meeting. After unpacking the order, I realized that I was shorted all my hash browns--15 orders to be exact. I called the store immediately and spoke with the actual manager on duty, Sylvia. She *graciously* offered to refund my hash brown order. So she's not going to charge me for food I didn't receive. How nice. (Sarcasm). When pushed further due to the extreme lack of customer service at her store, she offered me a free entree. I spent well over $100 in her store, and I get a sandwich. No thanks. At this point I am not interested in getting any free food, as I will not be returning to this location. I just want to let as many people as possible know about the lack of resolution skills in the Copperas Cove location. So Chick-fil-a finally gets gluten free buns. Awesome, right? Well I wish I could tell you what they tasted like but I have no idea. As someone who has Celiac, gluten free options at restaurants are awesome. It makes me feel more normal and not like a weirdo who can't eat the same food as everyone else. So I go to Chick-fil-a, super pumped to try their brand new gluten free option that I've been wanting to try for over a year, pretty much as long as I've known that they were testing the option in certain markets. I tried calling to make sure they had it in stock, no answer. I decide to go in and order at the counter, and asked several times before ordering as I've been burnt before by other food places. (I'm looking at you, Bar Bazaar Houston) and I was told multiple times they had it. So I'm very excited. It's so nice to eat a sandwich on a bun instead of with a knife and fork on a measly bed of lettuce. I order my food and pay, and AFTER I PAY FOR MY FOOD THEY TELL ME THEY DON'T HAVE THE GF BUNS. Because apparently someone didn't thaw them out or something. That's nice, maybe you could have told me before charging me for my food? And then they tried to offer me a bunless chicken sandwich. If I wanted a bunless chicken sandwich I could literally go just about anywhere. I came here for my daughter's school's Spirit Night and won't be returning. The customer service was atrocious. I understand it was busy, BUT I literally watched other customers be treated differently than I was. No one asked how our food was, our visit, nor did they offer to take my tray. They did this to everyone around us. When another customer dropped trash on the floor, a worker quickly picked it up, and less than a minute later, right beside the worker, my daughter dropped two napkins. The worker stood there and watched me pick up the napkins. Also, my daughter ordered a six piece chicken nuggets kid's meal. Her nuggets were small and overcooked. I've eaten at this location and only this location more times than I can count. I'm from Hawaii were Chick-fil-A is non-existent (unfortunately). I'm not into fast food restaurants. I've always had great service at this location. However, today my husband ordered the grill wrap and it was horrible. It lacked taste and was dry even with the dressing on it. I told the server how bad it was as I ordered a sandwich for my husband instead. No "sorry" or what can we do to make it right , nothing. Just a "ok" what do you want to order. Fabulous service. They are always friendly and have smiles on their faces. The food is great and the location is always clean. The kids play area is always spotless. A WELL operated Chiik-Fil-A. Food is always hot & service is great. Dining area is always clean with condoment bins always full. One of the few operated on common sense with folks who are truly doing a great job here in Cove & it shows. There's too many places to eat in Cove where they just don't care how your food looks, how long it takes & whether you come back or not & they don't get my money anymore - like that other chicken place that remodeled a year ago & service and product went all the way downhill.
