I've been coming here for years. It's a taste of my childhood. Chowder, I feel, is very personal for people. You like it, you don't, you love or hate different styles and textures. But I love Mo's. Creamy, full of clams, potatoes and bacon, not thick like paste and not thin like soup. Just right. And, the signature paprika, butter and dried herbs on top. Prices are good here, see menu and they've super expanded and added many intentional items recently that I feel we're not a part of it 20 years ago. The seafood sauté is a new fav and I think is up to par with any high end place. But this is a casual family, come as you are joint. Basic, barebones, but in a good way This visit I brought a friend who had never been and she was over the moon! And I feel that our server, Kyler, deserves a big bonus and shout out from management for his quick, patient, friendly and overall above and beyond service. Made us feel like we were his only table. Super great young man. Don't buy the mixed reviews, try this out or if you've come in the past give it another go.

Great view of the boats coming in, you can watch them clean everyone's catch of the day. Now as for the chowder, let's just say not best. 5 out of 10

Great staff! Great value and food quality. We enjoyed the view and were told this was a must visit while in Oregon.

2 cannonball chowders, sourdough bread bowl was tender and a great complement to the creamy, smooth chowder. Cod tacos (x3) were good lacking a seasoning. Fish wonderfully tender despite. Beautiful view. A must visit.

We eat here often and I realized I've never left a review. The place is very small so sometimes there is a wait. The view of the bay and watching the fishermen clean their catches of the day are always fun. The food is so delicious. They do not have a fryer at this location so that factors into your food choices. The staff is the sweetest. Sometimes a little slow with a refill or your check but only because they are busy, not because they are lazy. Our favorites are the chili and chowder bread bowls and of course garlic bread here is to die for!

Eat up!

We've been visiting the Oregon Coast and Mo's for 25 years and keep coming back. Today we were here early and had a small hiccup with our order. Justin and his "lovely" wife Jennifer went above and beyond with quality service to correct the problem! Food was excellent, but the service was exemplary! We'll be back!

It's hard to get a good seafood soup. This one is a must try! Fresh seafood and seasoned well

1st time at MO's, we come to the Oregon Coast often and have seen many Mo's. This time we decided to try it and taste the Clam Chowder. Well, how do you just order chowder with all the other things on the menu. Let's just say we'll be back. The food, the service and the view was awesome.

Highly overrated: even their much ballyhooed clam chowder was merely run of the mill. Many better dining options on the Oregon coast.

Came in for a quick pint and a bite while visiting from elsewhere…read more Irish beer always tastes good. The Tiegans delight was pretty tasty. Gravy was a little chunky. The real star was the soda bread - move over sourdough! Bar was pretty busy but the service was still good. Bar itself is clean and had a great selection of liquor. I even heard someone order a sazerac I thought that was interesting this far west. Overall, pretty great gem for a coastal town.

I've eaten in quite a few places on the west coast that claim to serve Irish food and I have always been unsatisfied with the authenticity. So I was very surprised and impressed with the food served at Nana's. My experience started with the ambiance. It truly had the feel of a real Irish Pub. This was followed by the hospitality. Our server was amazing. She had great menu suggestions for the people who were eating with us. They have eaten a wide variety of Irish food. She made an excellent selection as to the Irish beer that would best suit my palate. They have several Irish beers on tap. I chose the Smithwicks Red Ale. It was delicious and very enjoyable. Now for the food. Many years ago I enjoyed Steak & Stout Pie in a Dublin Ireland pub. It was really good. I've had it in several locations here back home but it just wasn't the same. So when I spotted the Steak & Guinness pie it peaked my interest and I ordered it. Well I definitely was not disappointed. More so it was like reliving an old pleasant memory. The Steak & Guinness pie was spot on. Every bit as enjoyable as the one I tried in Dublin. I very highly recommend trying this establishment if you're traveling to or through Newport. You will not regret enjoying the food and the experience.

The grocery store has a good amount of groceries and sundries, and also some gift items as well. overall, the food was good. I started with the clam chowder. It was a thicker clam chowder, but it was absolutely delicious. Creamy, and they were generous with the ingredients. A very good bowl of chowder. For my main course, I had the combination halibut, king Salmon, and tuna. They were very generous with the portions. The fish was delicious. The halibut and the salmon were tender and juicy. The tuna was just a tiny bit chewier, but it was also very good. The fish was lightly breaded, although a few of the pieces. Were a bit darker than the others. That took away from it just a tiny tiny bit. But overall, successful. The tartar sauce was very good, rich and tangy. Instead of the fries, I finished with the coleslaw. It was not overdressed, and I liked the dressing. It was a sweeter dressing than your standard mayonnaise, but not overly sweet. It was an excellent coleslaw. For all of the quality food I got, the price was very reasonable. I would come back the next time. I'm in town. Thank you!
