The food was pretty good. I order french toast with a side of scrambled eggs. I enjoyed the ambiance more than anything but we went on a Saturday morning so the wait to get a table was long! Other than that everything else was fine. read more

Such a fun and cute place! The food was super yummy although a bit expensive for the portion sizes. Great environment and service!

FANTASTIC BREAKFAST!! Giant cudos to a breakfast spot that offers multiple milk alternatives for my coffee!! This morning I went with coconut and it was divine. My meal was the protein pancakes. I find it to be a happy medium between pancakes and a healthy breakfast like a protein shake. They were YUMMY! They were massive fluffy and had a hint of vanilla and cinnamon. My fiancé had a southwestern omelet that came out looking stunning. Fresh avocado, pulled pork and a sauce that forced me to reach over and snag a bite. Apart from the great food and beverage options the environment is great. The music isn't too loud to have a conversation so this is now added to my list of breakfast spots for business meetings. For a fun breakfast spot it hits all the marks on decor and environment as well. It's bright happy and the staff is sweet attentive and kind. All the things you need when you are heading out for breakfast or brunch. As for adding this to the Mill area it is a huge win! The area was in need of something like this! Also did I mention a dog friendly patio?! I LOVE when the patio is dog friendly! It makes breakfast that much better. A must stop in Tempe! read more

If I could give it 10 stars I would. Excellent service by Creoghton. Excellent drinks, excellent food. Loved the pork skillet. Bloody Mary menu was incredible. Flight of mimosas for $15 was the best deal overall! read more

Enjoyed breakfast with my family at this lively spot. We were seated inside and enjoyed some coffee to start - it was excellent. I had the steak and eggs. The steak was flavorful and tender. I asked it to be rare and it came medium. The eggs were scrambled and tasty. The potatoes were small red potatoes that were quartered and they were good as well. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal. The service was very good - the food was delivered without much wait and the server kept checking in with us fairly often. Recommend for a good breakfast with several healthy offerings. read more

I've been going the Squeeze in scottsdale for a couple of years. I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. But I wasn't expecting the unbelievable Tempe Morning Squeeze!! The patio is HUGE! The bar has both inside and patio seating. The inside design and atmosphere is hip and brite and I love the music. The specialty pancakes, waffles and Squeeze french toast are all incredible. This morning I enjoyed a Mocha which is the best! The staff is warm and friendly. See you next weekend!! read more

I've been here before, and have had pleasant experiences in the past. Today's rating is based on service and this rather bland smoothie. Given, I work in the industry and like to give grace to those working, and it seemed decently busy. I'll start out with what was good. We ordered the chicken and waffles and their breakfast sausage tacos. No complaints here. You do have to build your own taco, so if you like being interactive and in control of your own portions that's great! Chicken had a nice seasoning on it as well. Now, what was unpleasant were these very berry smoothies. When I asked our server what was inside them, he circled back and told us: coconut milk, yogurt, strawberries and blueberries. It tasted like watered down milk. Now it's my fault I didn't voice my complaint prior to paying the bill. They costed 9$ a piece. Like most places, servers ask how everything is when something comes out from the kitchen/bar. He didn't ask until our food was out, that a food runner brought out, so that was when I asked the ingredients. The convenience of food runners is nice, but it lacks the personal experience, since they only drop the food off and leave. I wish the service was more proactive during our experience. Our waters ran low. We got them refilled when there was two bites left on my plate. After paying, he asked if I wanted to take the smoothie home. Which I finally had voiced no because of the taste. I hope they can change the recipe for this, and that service becomes more attentive. read more

This is more 3.5, but gonna round down. First time here. Was able to make same day reservations. For some reason, I thought I was going to another restaurant so I parked kinda far away in another garage and walked down Mill Avenue. This is located near the AMC theater and they give you $4 parking credit on your ticket. Lesson learned! The hostess was on the phone when I arrived. No biggie. After I checked in, she asked if I wanted inside or outside and then said there were no outside tables. I said inside was fine. Then she asked me if inside was fine lol. She seemed a little spacey. Nice girl though. I was seated and it took a while for waitress to appear. She performed the bare minimum of her job with me. I had water. Then waited to order the lox Benedict as I haven't seen that before and was very curious to try that. Then a while goes by and she asks if I want to drink anything. I try the mimosa flight. I liked the OJ one best. Pomegranate was okay and strawberry was bad. I've been waiting for a while, but I'm working and not in a rush, but it is taking a while. Since I'm seated by the kitchen, I learn they ran out of lox. So I'm waiting for the waitress to tell me so I can order something else. Someone else helps me. I decide on the steak frites. She comps my food!!! That was really nice of her:) the steak and eggs were decent. The fries were SO greasy! It's like they cooked the fries and then dumped grease on top of it so i unfortunately couldn't eat all the fries. I liked how clean and airy this place felt. They have inside and outdoor seating with lots of natural light and misters. Staff was pretty energetic, but my waitress was not actively engaged with me or my experience there which is why it gets a lower rating. read more

You know that food is good when you just keep talking to yourself saying dang this is good. Had the chicken and waffles and my plate was gone not even 10 mins later. Great service, Vibes, and Bloody Mary's Also, there was no wait on a Sunday at 12. Great time for the family. read more

Was told 25 min wait when yelp said no wait And than they sat people who showed up 30mins after us Before us And Jordan lied to our faces about them being there before us So pissed off We got sat by restrooms Where a line formed around our table And we had hanging plants in our faces Again owner response doesn't correct my review The people she sat ahead of us Had a dog they left restaurant Their name was called Other parties than got seated They came back and was placed back on the list as priority seating If you put your name on list and leave Don't show within time frame after text you lose your place Not you enjoyed a beverage else where and jump line where others have been waiting Owner response just increased irritation Making excuses when you didn't read or understand review read more

Truly a nice place to dine outside when the weather is right in Arizona. Great atmosphere for families, college students, and pets! They have meals for your pet! (No joke!) So I need to bring my pup the next time we go. My friends and I were seated quickly and had a attentive waitress that made sure our drinks were filled. The food was freshly made, the flight of mimosas was $9 not a bad price for 3 different flavors, served in mason jars. My avocado toast was $7. My friend ordered the belfer fit bowl, it had eggs, potatoes and an amazing hollandaise sauce. I can't remember the price but it tasted wonderful. Would definitely recommend trying this spot out. read more

This is a must if your looking for a really great breakfast and a morning beverage. The Bloody Mary was so good and the breakfast was delicious. You have to try the jam oh my gosh you could eat it with a spoon but better yet put a spoon full in a glass of champagne so refreshing and delicious. Also ask for Jordan he was super attentive and just an all around great server. Yummy food, great service and nice sitting outside. read more

My boss and I had a wonderful time this morning at Morning Squeeze! The staff was wonderful to give us a nice comfy booth to work out of, and the Wi-Fi was very speedy! My and a girlfriend came here for brunch last Sunday and instantly fell in love! We both got the Belfer Fit bowl and shared a chocolate mint crape. Wow! What a solid breakfast spot. I've had the breakfast tacos with chorizo, "the release Grayson" and the Nutella crepes... all delicious! The vibe is super cool, bright colors, high ceilings and an industrial 1970's Arizona cafe feel. There cold brew coffee is "not for the faint. The hearty cold brew was handcrafted from select beans chosen exclusively for morning squeeze. Sip cautiously, enjoy thoroughly." It's flippin AWESOME! read more

The atmosphere is pretty loud. We did ask them to turn the music down which they didn't come up for about 10 minutes. It's very challenging to hear a conversation. When we walked in the hostess told us, "would you mind sitting inside, we have a lot of outside reservations". First, you should start by greeting customers. Second, really? Next We waited for a waitress / waiter for six minutes and they asked if we were ready to order. There was no offer of water, and we did not have a menu. The QR code was covered up by the condiments dish. The food was basic, nothing outstanding with fresh herbs. They tried. The level was just a bit above immature / young employees. read more

Morning Squeeze is probably the best brunch spot in Tempe. The food is super good as well as the drinks! I've been coming here with friends and coworkers for years and I've never been disappointed. The staff is awesome and on top of everything. I definitely recommend this establishment for a sweet brunch spot! read more

We frequented this place alot during the lockdown. The food was excellent. We came back again this morning after being out of state a long time and the quality was unfortunately very bad. Avocado toast on white bread???? A soggy mess. The carne asada fries had liquid cheese that was too salty to eat and the Carne asada was grisly, also unedible. The staff is always cheerful and nice thus the reason for 2 stars and not 1 star read more

The restaurant itself is such an enjoyable vibe with nice views and the food and drinks are great but the service we've had this morning is sooo poor. In fact, the whole staff just seems not to care as well as the dismissive 'manager'. We were waiting for our waitress forever until I finally had to walk in just to see our waitress was nowhere to be found and everyone else was grouped up all talking amongst each other as if they aren't even at work. Their communication was terrible as to when our food was coming out. Our steak was cooked incorrectly and we didn't even get an apology for it. The waitress didn't even tell us that it was being prepared again or if it's on its way, nothing! there's literally no communication i'm so uncomfortable I honestly just want to leave. read more

VERY BUSY on the weekends. Luckily they had space at the bar and we didn't mind sitting there! The food took a very long time, understandably so. It was worth it though! I had the breakfast burrito with potatoes and WOW. It's so delicious. The bartender was awesome and very fun to talk with so though we spent a long time there due to how busy it was, we were preoccupied with just simply enjoying ourselves. Having a few mimosas probably helped! lol. We had a great time and will definitely be back, just have to make sure you don't show up starving on a weekend because you likely won't get your food right away or seated right away bc of how packed they can get. Especially being at a location like Mill ave. read more

When you walk by a near empty restaurant at 7:00am on a Sunday but the smell is so good you have to cross the road. I am so glad I crossed over. Everything tastes homemade from the crispy but soft potatoes, the toast with a preserve that I can't describe, the butter looked it was churned in the back. The coffee was flavorful but not too strong. I could only imagine what a dinner would be like (if they did that ). When I left it wasn't empty and I'd recommend anyone to go in and try a delicious breakfast. Btw the service and music was great too. Super friendly people. read more

Seated right away and ordered. We waited 45 minutes for our food to come. This is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for food.

I rarely find myself writing negative reviews about establishments on yelp.. However if you are even considering visiting Morning Squeeze I would highly encourage otherwise. I decided to visit with a friend last Sunday and was blown away by terrible experience. Restaurant had run out of hash-browns/potatoes or sausage by 11 am. Service was generally disinterested in showing a shed of hospitality. My friend and I both came down with food poisoning and got to spend the next 14 hours hanging out on the toilet and 3 days later still feel awful. However If you are interested in kicking of your next weight loss diet with food poisoning, could be a good fit! read more

Went Sunday morning for food and drinks with some girl friends! The women's soccer game was on and they had a deal for their flight of mimosas!! Only 4 dollars!! They had other deals for drinks as well! I had a side of their biscuit and gravy which was good and I love that you can order just one because I don't think I could finish a full plate! 4 stars only because I had sat at the bar at first while waiting for the rest of my group and ordered my mimosa flight and the bar tender was rude, maybe having a bad day! read more

I don't know where to start but our experience was not what I was expecting we decided to celebrate our friend's birthday at this location and so far everything seems okay, waiter was a bit off and food took longer then expected but we decided to just wait also I ordered coffee and unfortunately I didn't get any sugar or creamer by the time the waiter decided to bring it my coffee was already cold since we were sitting on the patio also probably only got to see the waiter at least 4 times including the time she bring the check which she didn't even ask if she needed to split the check and after we ask to split the check she wasn't really willing to do it so one of us decided to help and split the items also when we asked questions about the menu her answers were ether "I don't know how to describe it" or "I'm not sure how to explain it" then to the end after getting the check I decided not to tip due to how the service was but to my surprise the waiter stop me before leaving demanding to give her a tip because she was only making $8/hour and she had to tip the bartender which I don't know how is that my fault since nether one of people in my group order drinks from the bar so I was more surprised then upset to the fact I was asked to tip, I understand that tipping is always appropriated and appreciate but last time I check tipping was optional and not mandatory and for someone who also work for tips I understand that if I want a good tip I need to deliver an exceptional service and even then never expect anything in return for doing my job I don't think I see myself going back to this location read more

The location was very clean and the staff were very kind. The food was the best I've had from a morning diner and easily beats your average IHOP or Waffle House.Great spot for the whole family or a cute place to bring the significant other. This was just an ok visit. The place ls cute but the service is lacking quite a bit. Took 10 minutes just to get water. Only saw one server working the big patio. For the price, the portions are quite small. I got a free coffee for checking in. My eggs were overcooked and not enough hollandaise sauce. First time experience at Morning Squeeze. We were seated at 9:20am and ordered fairly quickly at 9:30am. We didn't receive our food until 10:03am, in which my waffle was still not ready. Our server didn't not check in on us with or update us on the status of our food. It was until after he took another table's (9:57am) order that he realized we were still waiting. I had the best time at Morning Squeeze this weekend! The most delicious BLT+A I have had in a long time and the mimosa flight was so yum. Went in this morning with family from out of town. Great food always a good price, chose the patio because it's pretty and there's great weather. I really love this place but the server gave me a total and had me sign. I went in realizing she didn't give us the option for a tip and I wanted to make sure she received some sort of compensation. She was really kind and had great service-- but when she printed off a copy of the receipt she had chosen what she thought she deserved for a tip I suppose. It is not like they advertise tips or a minimum gratuity to be added to the bill. While I would have tipped or similarly or rounded up the tab I just find it really dishonest and another boy who was standing there while I was waiting for a copy of the receipt said I could just give him a hundred bucks for them to all split. I really wanted to correct a possible error of her not receiving what she earned but instead was boldly taken advantage of. read more
