$8 juice for only 12oz plastic cup ridiculous
J.R. P.

Underwhelming! $8 for 12oz cup of juice? The food is blah. You have to stand in 1 long line to order wait up to an hour and wait again for your food. Parking across the street. No servers but they charge like it. No plates or silverware, plastic cups. Barely any fresh food growing there. Tables were dirty, missing sun umbrellas and Phoenix is very sunny. $80 breakfast for 2 people and only drip coffee with sugar? No water? What in the robbery. I love to eat out but this is disappointing. Bring the kids and dog, meet with family outdoors but head somewhere else for brunch/ breakfast. Many other restaurant spots nearby like Peppersauce, Rennicks, Lucy's, Market Cafe, Snooze, Sunshine, Scrambles and way more......

We enjoy this place for when we want a nice breakfast outside where our kids can be kids without judgement. We recently went on a Saturday morning as a group of 4 adults and 2 kids around 9:30am and the wait ended up being around 30min to order and then about 20 minutes for the food. we ordered breakfast tacos, montecristo, standard breakfast, and my specific order was the Japanese sweet potato with brisket and wow I felt that mine was the best meal in terms of uniqueness, flavor, and very filling. Also, the orange juice is some of the best I've had around! What I also enjoy about this spot is that before/after you enjoy a nice meal at one of their picnic tables you are free to walk about and enjoy their nice property with some yard games, grassy areas, the chicken coops, and even a little store for some cute goodies to take home.

Would not recommend for breakfast. The coffee options are minimal and only to be flavored with sugar packets. We ordered the chilaquiles and they were basically the store bought chips you get for the table and an egg on top. As soon as we got it, I knew I had ordered the wrong thing. Not sure if there are better items on the menu but the other item my date ordered was also mid. The best thing about it was probably the orange juice.

Smoked Salmon Omelet

Such a cute spot in South Phoenix. This place is a casual outdoor farm-to-table brunch place located at The Farm at South Mountain. You order at the counter and seat yourself at a picnic table. I ordered the smoked salmon omelet, but next time I'll be getting the brisket because I tasted some and it was delish. The line was kinda long on the weekend but you can definitely spend a while here just eating and exploring parts of the farm like the gift shop and chicken coops. Good for groups when the weather is nice.

Located at the foothills of south mountain this is your go to place for a farm to table experience. Morning glory is located inside the farm and this place is exclusively for breakfast. The farm is huge and such a fun place for family and friends. There is ample parking space as well! We went around noon and ordered farm burrito, French toast, waffle and freshly squeezed orange juice. The juice was very refreshing and was fantastic. The food is great as well, loved the burrito and the fresh toast, great flavors, warm and perfect. Waffle wasn't the best felt it was over done. The pricing is a little expensive specially a glass of juice is $7, but can't complain on the taste. The service is quick and organized Everything was great and loved the whole vibe.

This is a the breakfast only spot that's in The Farm, a 10 acre event venue in South Mountain that hosts weddings as well as other events. The Farm also includes some Chickens and turkeys to look at as well as some veggies growing. Anyway, back to the Morning Glory Cafe, it's a popular breakfast spot as it's both Family Friendly as well as dog friendly. Seating is all outdoors picnic table style, but they also have large umbrellas you can activate for some shade. Food-wise, you line up and order/pay first while they make it, the they call your number to pick it up when it's ready. Food is decent, they have many choices. My favorites are chicken enchiladas as well as a salmon omelette. They focus on farm-to-table or at least their image, is of that, so don't be expecting some usual breakfast fare. Fresh squeezed OJ also featured but for a hefty $7 a cup. Also Coffee is drip coffee, there is no espresso machine. Overall, it's a great place if you go once every one or two months as a good change of pace from normal restaurants. I wouldn't go here more than that as some of the outdoor dining novelty may wear off.

We got Black Coffee and Orange Juice with Chilaquiles. The service was excellent and the Ambiance at The Farm fantastic !!

Came here for breakfast to celebrate my niece's birthday a few weeks ago. What a beautiful setting. Having a meal surrounded by trees, flowers, and so much greenery was very nice. Service was not the best, it was a Saturday, but it took us at least 25 minutes just to get our drinks. Then about another 25 just to get our food. The food was already semi cold. I ordered the chilaquiles, which were honestly pretty bland and had no spice. I will say, I had the best fresh squeezed orange juice I've ever had in my life! It's 7 dollars for a pretty small cup, but I will say that was worth it taste wise. I will be coming back to give it another shot because I did love the ambiance. Hopefully it was just an off day.

The cutest cafe in the cutest location! We were in town for work and found this breakfast place on Yelp so we decided to pay a visit before exploring the area. It's located on a beautiful spacious farm with another eatery and small local shops. Service was friendly and pretty fast considering all food is made to order. I ordered the salmon omelette and only needed just a tad of salt and pepper, but still enjoyable. Definitely recommend to those looking for a picturesque breakfast/brunch place on a good weather day!

Chicken enchiladas, Japanese sweet potato, blue corn waffle, orange juice, Press coffee
Emily S.

I think people come here for the location :) The orange juice is amazing and the loaded Japanese sweet potato is unique but everything else is kind of lackluster. We did yoga then headed over for brunch afterwards. The line was non-existent when yoga started and I was watching hoards of people walking over I started having FOMO during class!! When we finished class, the line was probably 15-20 people long. After we finished eating, there must have been 50+ people in line!! It is a destination and cute farm. Love that there are so many outdoor tables.

My all time favorite brunch restaurant. I go every year during the winter to take advantage of the great Arizona weather. The Japanese sweet potato is usually my go-to order. The smoked salmon is also tasty.

Breakfast of the year 2024. It truly can't get more farm-to-table then the Morning Glory Cafe. Ingredients are sourced by the farm on the property. Outdoor seating is plentiful and perfect for a weekend brunch. I ordered the cauliflower hash. Oh my. It was incredibly fresh and delicious. Everyone in my group loved their 'meal. And bonus that they serve press coffee.

Keyva C.

This was the cutest place I've been in a while. Definitely loved the farm to table and how boldly is was in our face. The service was amazing and the ambiance is totally a vibe. We ordered the sweet potato with brisket which was absolutely yummy! The meat was so tender and full of flavor. I would love to go back and eat at the other restaurant on the property!

Can I walk around the farm after eating? Is there live music?

The farm is open and large. Eat outside at the picnic areas and even hold your wedding. They have chickens, turkeys, and ducks. Flowers and crops. Enjoy.

Do they allow dogs on the patio?

Yes! I brought my leashed dog and they even offered my dog a water bowl :)

Is seating Only outside? If yes are there heaters?

Hi James, Morning Glory Cafe is outside seating only. There are heaters when the weather becomes cooler.

We decided to hang out in the lounge seating, which was comfy and perfect for our brief visit. The menu is straightforward, has all the classics and a few specialty house items. The drinks are listed as bases essentially, and then you can build and flavor it however you want. That is exactly what we did with the shaken espresso. We added the blondie syrups, which were white chocolate and caramel, both sugar free, and a splash of oat milk...sweet and delicious! Was the perfect pick me up before heading to the game. Service was friendly and helpful. The staff were as efficient as they were friendly. It only took a few minutes to get our drinks. After a quick google, I see that Black Rock is a west coast based chain...which makes me sad, as I would LOVE to have one in Nashville. Maybe one day! Overall, stellar spot!

As someone who was new to the area, that first impression meant a lot. Three years later, the same warm atmosphere keeps me coming back. Their hours have always worked perfectly with my schedule, giving me a comfortable place to study after work. There is plenty of seating, and best of all, lots of outlets, which has been a lifesaver for someone like me with an ancient laptop that seems to lose battery the moment I turn it on! Beyond the amazing coffee and cozy ambiance, what really sets this place apart is its commitment to the community. Given this was our first time here, I decided to not only give their drinks a try, but also try their bakery as well. My friend, who had been here before, mentioned that their breakfast burritos were amazing! I wanted to try, but unfortunately, they were sold out. Mind you, I arrived at 8am. They must be pretty good if they sell out that quick. For my drink, I had an iced pumpkin chai. It was absolutely delicious! If you like pumpkin flavor, the flavor here definitely gave me "pumpkin pie" vibes, which I LOVE! It was so good! Along with my drink, I also had a chocolate pumpkin loaf and a zucchini loaf. My daughter absolutely LOVED the pumpkin loaf (mostly for the chocolate) lol. I, too, enjoyed the pumpkin loaf as it was very moist. They also warm it just enough for the chocolate to melt when you pull it apart. Let's not forget the "fall vibes" it brings too! The zucchini bread was very good too, but you definitely have to have a liking for zucchini bread to appreciate it! This loaf was also soft and moist, which made it taste delicious! It was also made in with nuts as well, which I think was the part my daughter really didn't like about the bread. Overall, it was good! The staff were very friendly, even though they were quite busy making drinks. This place is totally worth a try!
