Made the hour drive to give MOOYAH Burgers a try. I had read online about MOOYAH and read the Yelp reviews so I was excited to give them a try. We have a number of really good burgers in San Diego so I was anxious to see how the rated. Ordered the cheeseburger and a shareable fries . Order came out quickly. The burger is in between a slider-standard burger size. Potato bun was quite a bit larger than the patty size with cheese and bacon. Fries were warm but had lost their crisp when we got them with a excessive amount of salt. I let one of the employee know about the amount of salt and they were very concerned & quick to remake them, but a smaller size. The bun was nice and soft, but the patty had already fallen in half before I even started eating. I do like the number of topings available, but it didn't feel like a special burger. My husband got a lettuce wrapped burger and felt his patty was dry. We also split a large chip with queso dip (4 dollars each). The chips felt slightly burned, and while the cheese was good (how can queso be bad?), we received a cup that was not filled all the way, so the value seemed lacking. 2 single burgers, our side, and 1 drink ran us almost 35 before tip. There's a few places to sit inside, and a few places sit outside. The second you open the door there's the cash register, so not much room between them and the front door. Great service and great food. This location opened up at the beginning of 2023 and are doing a pretty good job. Their dinning area holds about 25 people and their patio eating area expands their capacity nicely. I have been to the Irvine Mooyah's and have a reference to go by. I was very pleased with their burgers, fries, chicken tenders, sweet potato fries and shakes. All of them were good my family was very happy. My family wants to come back again during our vacation before we go back home. I look forward to eating there again and eating from their "Hall of Dang" menu. read more

This place is ok. I got the mushroom Swiss burger and fries. When I got the burger it was room temp, on the colder side. The meat was under seasoned and the crispy onions were chewy. It was still good enough to eat, but it wasn't anything special. The fries are good and fresh, but they could use a bit more salt. The restaurant is a nice place to eat, but if you sit near the entrance there can be lot of people waiting for take out, and their butts are right on your plane of sight. The service was good and the staff were amicable. The manager was on top of things and helping out which was pretty good to see! Went to Mooyah for the first time yesterday. What I liked most about it was the food is fresh made - and it shows. I had a bacon cheeseburger and the meats, tomato, lettuce were all super fresh and tasty. The fries are fresh-cut as well, and they reminded me of In-N-Out fries. The people were friendly pleasant.
