Been here twice now, both through the drive-thru (who doesn't love a good drive-thru!?). First time ordered a gyro, burger and fries. All excellent. Second time ordered just the fried zucchini and fried mushrooms. The zucchini was perfect! The batter on the fried mushrooms was not very good. Bad, in fact. Would not ordered again. But the zucchini is one of the best I've tried anywhere. Sure hope they survive. Love having alternatives to fast food. read more

Hands down the best fast food tuna melt! The portions are pretty big too. When I get the meal that comes with a side of fries, I can usually get 2 meals out of it. The old lady who's worked here forever needs to retire. She's overworked and grumpy. They messed up on my order so I called and she put the blame on me and said her cook doesn't make mistakes which in the past 15 years there have been a number of times they've messed up my order maybe three times no one is perfect and people messed up. I couldn't believe that she put the blame on me instead of having better customer service. I hear this place is gonna shut down. I went through the drive-through and ordered a burger and mushrooms. When I got home they gave me onion rings, which I don't eat so I called the restaurant and the manager/ owner was so rude. She told me that they don't make mistakes which I find quite odd unless you're perfect! I was hoping that they could just give me a credit for next time since I go there all the time, but they were adamant about them not making mistakes so apparently I ordered onion rings even though I don't eat them ! but that owner has been there for decades she needs to retire because she's just an old hag and is very very rude! Make sure you check your order and make sure you have them. Read it back since they are so perfect. She also told me I could bring the onion rings back and get mushrooms. Everything smells and tastes fantastic here; their fried mushrooms and gyros are epic, never dry, perfectly seasoned, very moist because the chef sprays moisture on the lamb as he grills it. We've come here as a family for years. It is a Greek owned hamburger diner type Resturant. You order at the counter, you pay, they will pour drinks (free refills) and you find your seat in what use to be an American Mexican chain (? Del Taco) type fast food Resturant. They have been around for probably 30+ years. My daughter was a classmate to one of the owners sons many years ago. So they have a long history at that location. They have a drive thru window if you want to just pick something up to take home. Staff is always friendly and helpful. As our kids are grown and on their own, my husband and I go through the drive thru and get an order of 1/2 Greek chicken dinner and split it. It is enough food for the both of us. He likes the breast meat and I like the leg and wing. Its crispy skin is consistently tasty and the meat moist. It comes with a simple Romain lettuce salad, rice Pilaf, and Pita bread and it is at a good price. A very complete and healthy meal. Over the years we, we have enjoyed their hamburgers, diner style fries, Gyros and other items on their extensive menu that is on a board above where the cooks are preparing meals. My family went to go wash our hands in the restroom and there was no soap! My husband asked the gentleman and he just ignored him. I went to the front and asked if they had any soap for the restroom and another gentleman answered me, "Are you going to eat here?" My response was of course my family and I just want to wash our hands before we eat. He said that the owner had the key to fill up the powder soap in the mornings. Then another lady that was there came up to us and interrupted really rudely that they didn't have any soap. I responded with how do you guys wash your hands and she said with hand sanitizer!? Oh my. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and chili cheese fries through the drive thru. They must have misheard me and I ended up receiving a double bacon cheeseburger instead of the single. I ain't even mad about it though. It was sooooo good. I really enjoyed the burger. I mean like, really. Thank you Paul's place for the happiness that my taste buds experienced. The normal lady at the drive thru window is nice as always but I've noticed that the food quality has diminished in the last year or so. I ordered a 1/4lb cheeseburger combo meal today ($15) and the bread was either stale or had been toasted for so long that the bread was hard and crumbly. The fries also appear to be overdone. We've had a long history with Paul's Place, but years ago after being disappointed by their pastrami sandwiches too many times, we stopped going. Tonight we wanted a burger that was a step up from McD's, but not a $20 gourmet sit down type meal. We had a pastrami burger and the double bacon avo cheeseburger and it totally hit the spot. I would order burgers there again and skip the pastrami sandwiches. Solid fried mushrooms and chili cheese fries too if you want to go for all the unhealthy goodies. I cannot lie inside is dated but the food thou.. is what slaps!! I love the mom and pop shop vibes here. The prices are fair and food Texas size givens. Staff is easy going and super friendly. The french toast is delicious but I wish it came with something to really stand out but I get it.. it's fast food. Loved that it was french toast and not sticks. The chill cheese with onions has that traditional easy coast comfort feel. Which is PERFECT for today cause freakin cold today. It just warmth my soul with it meaty goodness (pause). Great little restaurant! Everything I've ordered has been reasonably priced and portioned well. I wouldn't consider it "fast food" as you'll sit in the drive thru for a few while they make your food fresh. But it's well worth the wait! Give this place a try and you'll not regret it! The portion size in this restaurant is very inconsistent. I got a chicken gyro today and again there was hardly anything on it. The cost keeps going up and the portion size goes down.
