I had the chicken gyro this time. This will be my new go to order. It came with a good tzatziki sauce. Will have to ask for extra, I ran out quickly. The chicken was so good and the bread was the perfect pita texture from my dreams. The tomatoes were soft and flavorful. It was packed full of chicken and that made it difficult to eat. So were the onions. I love onions and I'll eat them any size however these had pieces I wouldnt eat from my onion. That being said everything in the pita would be better cut smaller. I get it's fast fresh food but a little prep could go a long way. I'll still continue to order it and just eat it like a plate. read more

Long story short: great home cooked feel on the go. I love this little place. I work nights so it's nice to be able to get legit breakfast food without getting out of my car. The staff is super nice and it really gives you that old school diner feel but of course with the added bonus of having a drive through. My favorites: veggie omelette, French toast (plenty of powdered sugar), if you like home fries they don't come very crisp so I ask them to cook it a little longer, and their breakfast sandwich. Side note: if you go through the drive through keep in mind that they're cooking actual meals so it will take a little longer then it would take if you're just getting McGriddle, which you can just get across the street if you're in a rush. read more

Any local will understand what I mean when I say this is the cheaper version of Angelo's. This was actually my first stop in here and I got the junior Burger which was perfect amount size for lunch it's on par with the In-N-Out Burger size. I got fries which were the thicker cut and were made fresh to order. Like others said it is a longer wait but I think that's because they make everything fresh as you order it. I will have to come by to try other items so I can update my review if it gets better or worse with repeat trips. The good news is is it's worth coming by when I'm in the neighborhood. read more

I have always liked Paul's but it's pretty much cash only and they do have an atm machine. It's definitely a hole in the wall but the food is decent and affordable. The things that I like about Paul's is that the menu is large, the prices are great and I love supporting mom and pops. You can get just about anything to eat from sweet potato fries to a pastrami sandwich. I'm not sure if they have ice cream shakes but they should just like The Pit Stop. Also the size of the pastrami sandwich is huge I couldn't even finish it. So Paul's is alright it's a mom and pop so they try hard to please their customers. read more

This place is a hidden gem! It's a little dated decor, looks 1970s-ish, but the food is amazing and extremely low priced. They could add 50% to their prices and I would still come here. Today I got the Mushroom and Swiss burger with fried zucchini. This thing is massive, there's enough cheese on here to choke a horse, and the zucchini sticks are literally fresh zucchini that they slice, batter, and then fry. Flat out the best zucchini sticks I've ever had. Wife got a bacon avocado burger and it looks as good as mine, if not better. She wouldn't share so I can't comment on it, but she did share her sweet potato fries and these things are as awesome as any I've had and I'm from the South, pioneers of the Sweet Potato Fry. Good food over all but the girl who takes your order on the drive thru is very rude, I mean you can tell she's low class but if she hates her job so much she shouldn't work there, such bad attitude, responds very bad and what makes it worst she thinks she owns the place. This place was so much better a few years back when she wasn't there being rude to clients. Managment should make sure that employee learns to be respectful. Don't go there unless you want to have a inexperienced woman take your order and be disrespectful to you. read more

I've been here once before months ago and had a great experience. Loved the food! However, today's visit is not sitting well with me. Aside from the rude lady who made us feel like we were wasting her time (we only took 2min. tops with no one behind us at any point in the drive thru) the cook wasn't wearing gloves!!! We are told to be extremely cautious and think sanitary right now with the spread of the coronavirus and heres this guy making food for everyone who comes by with no gloves! I couldn't bring myself to eat it and I damn sure didnt want to deal with the rude lady again because we had already paid by the time I noticed. Also, they charge for ranch. But I'm told the ranch is bomb. read more

I was really looking forward to eating here because of the great reviews but once i got here it's been a bit of a disappointment. I ordered the pancake combo and was super excited because i love pancakes and when i got to sit down thw tables were a littler too tight. When i finally get my order i try to put syrup on it but it is so liquidy it squirted all over my plate but no big deal there. The bacon wasn't cruncy or soft it was in the space in between where it just taste rubbery. My eggs were also a bit over done. The pancakes were really bland when i put syrup or butter on it. In any case customer service was really attentive so i will give credit to where it belongs but over all i wouldn't recommend this place for breakfast even if the price is very considerable. read more

My family and I've been going here for 20+ years, but not anymore. Today I went there with my young grandson for dinner. He needed to use the bathroom, but they refused to give me the key, saying we had to order first. I told them he really needed to go, and I promised we'd order afterward. They said no. So we went across the street to Burger King. We'll never go back to Paul's Place. read more

Went here years ago and it was decent. Not anymore! Overpriced and their food quality has gone down. I ordered the zucchini and it was old and rubbery! They also charge you for sauces that most restaurants would give you for free! There are other burger places that are much better. Spend your money there instead. read more

The lady at the drive thru was polite and efficient. The food, on the other hand, was not good. I got a breakfast sandwich - croissant was hard, egg was overcooked and none of this had any flavor. So, I guess I won't be back. Sad. read more

The food is outstanding, very fresh and sone just right. I have been here three times and every order was perfectly cooked full of flavor and delivered to my table with a smile. Will go here every time I'm in the area, especially when Burger King across the street charges for sauce, and medium fry is almost 5 bucks. read more

Warning. Do not eat here. The food was overcooked. (Burnt) not only were the mushrooms I ordered horrible but so were my daughters and she went thru drive. The vanilla milkshake was watery and I had them make another. Very dirty counter, floor ect. Nobody cleaned or wiped off counter after any customers. Please go to angeloes or Pitstop if you want a burger or zucchini. They also are almost double the price as the others and food is better. Like I said the place is filthy. Beware!!! read more

Paul's Place is excellent fast food. The portions are huge. Ever time I go there for breakfast I get the French Toast. I moved away for a few years and NEVER found a place with better than or even close to Paul's Place. Their pastrami sandwiches are huge and very flavorful. read more

The prices on the menu must be incorrect. Ordered (2) breakfast sandwiches and (1) burrito and the total came out to $25. The menu showed $6 for sandwiches and $6 burritos. (Still scratching my head around that) After they asked what I wanted on the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. I replied bacon, egg, and cheese like the name of the sandwich and got yelled at about lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo :/ Like c'mon it's breakfast sandwich, you guys should know how to make your stuff and chill with the temper. My last straw was driving to the window and literally being asked "what do you want" Burrito wasn't very good Breakfast sandwiches were really good I've heard a lot of great things about this place so hoping for a better experience. 2nd time is the charm read more

This is a family favorite. The food is always fresh and skillfully prepared. Our daughter comes up from San Diego just to eat here! I'm a physician and pay attention to sanitation and health concerns as you might imagine. The review where someone complained about the food and corona virus is medically uninformed...its not transmitted by food and the incubation period is days, not 2 hours. Trust these people for a healthy good meal! read more

If you are coming to get food fast, don't bother. The drive through is beyond slow. The lady that takes your order is so rude!! Honestly if you hate your job, then don't work there. They got my whole order wrong and I had to go in. I use to like this place.. but it's time to move on. read more

$9.50 for a kid's plain cheeseburger meal; $9.19 plus $0.31 for another fee. We have been coming here since 2000 and these greedy chiselers at Paul's Place find new ways to constantly rip you off. Since the pandemic they make sure they do NOT charge combo prices even though you specifically ask for a combo. Think of a filthy abandoned Ruth's Chris; now compare prices. They're the same. read more

My visit today was horrible. The food was good, but my experience was entirely ruined by the bathroom. I really had to use the restroom and had no other options.These restrooms are outside of the restaurant and I knew I shouldn't have used it, but like I said I didn't have any other options. I walked in and it was filthy in the bathroom there was graffiti everywhere and what made it worse...the soap was powdered. I HAVE NEVER SEEN POWDERED SOAP IN A HANDSOAP DISPENSER EVER! I was immediately disgusted. It did not even foam when I used it to try to wash my hands. I left there feeling even filthier than when I walked in. This makes me wonder how clean the food is if the cooks are using these restrooms and "soap" to wash their hands and then go in and handle the food. I don't think I will ever come back to eat here again. When I went in to ask for a fork because they forgot it for my order, I asked if they had liquid handsoap and the cook looked at me and was rude "no it's powder!" Like he was proud it was powdered soap?! Absolutely filthy. How does this restaurant pass the health inspection?? read more

They have been around for a long time A LONG time, and I have never had issues with them a year prior to this year nor has my family but I've had enough. Every time my grandfather comes here to get food he has gotten his order wrong every single time. Whoever is taking the orders in the drive through is purposely ruining his experience each time, this is terrible customer service. It's almost like it's a joke. My grandfather is well spoken and it's almost like this is a joke now with the amount of times he has come here to get his breakfast or lunch, it is close for him to drive to. &since he doesn't have a Yelp, I will say something for him because it's messed up! If this isn't "true" please get a new order screen and microphone box to hear your customers orders. Fix your business to continue being in good business! read more

My issue with today's visit stems with our order being to go. The gluten free burger is not marked on the box, and it's not super obvious that the gluten free bun is gluten free. It's a funny complaint, because usually gluten free buns are terrible and obvious, but Tanners are by far the best gluten free buns of any restaurant. When we ordered to go the first time, the fries were included with the regular bun. Unfortunately, that made the fries unsafe for me to eat so my husband had to eat all the fries himself. Tonight we ordered three burgers, 2 regular and 1 gluten free. As we ordered, we requested the fries be included with the gluten free burger. (The 2 regular burgers did not want fries) When we arrived to our destination, the fries were crammed in the same box as the 2 regular burgers. The fries were all over the regular buns... rendering them unsafe for me to eat. I called Tanners to report the issue. The person who answered the phone said because we ordered a gluten free burger, their protocol is that only the gluten free burger can go in the box. Nothing else is allowed in. So I asked "When we ordered the fries and requested they be with the gluten free burger, why were we told 'sure' instead that the fries can't go in the gluten free burger box?" They paused, and answered "I'll tell them this happened." The big problem with this, is the person who answered the phone IS the person who placed our order. The name they said on the phone (Hello this is blah blah) is the name of the server on our receipt. Ordered Thursday 5/21, order 378. I don't take issue with the safety protocol of keeping the gluten free burger separate. I appreciate it! My issue is I made a specific request, was told "sure" instead of "no, because" Had we been told at time of ordering the gluten free has to be completely alone, then we could have requested a separate box. Had the server apologized for the error and taken ownership, I wouldn't be leaving this review. But the person who made the error answered the phone, and this is the only way to hold them accountable. I am not posting their name, but hopefully Tanners can see who it was from the date and order number posted above. I don't enjoy paying for food I can't eat.

Happy hour is daily from 4-6pm and if you sit on the recently renovated patio, drinks are 50% off. I ordered the Ribeye as my birthday entree and we also ordered the Fried Zucchini ($7), Popcorn Chicken ($9), Guajillo Braised Pork Shoulder ($21) and several cocktails ($7 each during HH). Everything was great honestly. No complaints. My wife REALLY loved the braised pork shoulder. My steak was excellent and even though it was free, $32 for a ribeye is the lowest you'll find anywhere. It was nice having not having to fight for a seat. Enjoying a cocktail on the patio in perfect weather is something everyone should try.
