My family and I really enjoy Pit Stop Diner for their easy comfort food when we need dinner in a pinch. They have a great menu selection, the food is always fairly good, and overall the service is quick and kind. One thing to note, is that they are a bit pricier than I'd expect for the type of food they are serving, but it's still a good place to check out. I'll note that a handful of times we've ordered recently for pickup or delivery they've messed up our order, hence the 4/5 stars, but overall it's a good place. Inside is really large and there are many different seating options and giant sized tables with many chairs available. They also have an outdoor eating area. Parking is extremely easy. It's located in a shopping center with plenty of free parking. You order at the counter, they give you a number, and then they bring the food to you. It is not a full service restaurant. So as I said when it first opened we came here a lot then things changed so we stopped coming. After quite a few years we heard good things and decided to give it another try. We've been back for the last few years however they again have made negative changes. I'm pretty sure it's new owners? As all of the staff has changed. I don't like that they significantly reduced the amount of drinks. They no longer even have fresh brewed tea. They rarely have coffee and usually just decaf which you know isn't fresh. They changed the fries. The fries used to be amazing! Now they have poorly cooked crinkle fries. I have nothing against crinkle fries but they are not cooked right and mushy and gross. The bacon on the burgers is rubbery, flabby and basically inedible. We will be taking a break until hopefully they make more changes for the better again after seeing sales drop read more

The diner houses an eclectic mix of car and road collectibles from floor to ceiling. The crown jewel is a 1962 Chrysler New Yorker in the middle of the of the floor. There is so much to see. As you enter the diner you first have to place your order at the counter. Just look for the line of folkss standing at the traffic signal...(yes, I said traffic signal..lol) in front of the registers. You'll place your order and will be given a number to place at your table. The wait staff will deliver your food when it is ready. Soft drinks and coffee are self serve. I was going to order lunch, but after seeing the Biscuits and Gravy Combo on the menu which included three eggs and a choice of sausage links or bacon, I decided to go with breakfast. The warm and savory sausage gravy over sweet and flaky biscuits was flavorful and perfect for the cold weather we were experiencing today. Eggs over easy and crispy bacon strips topped the combo. The only thing I wish I had ordered to make the meal complete was a side of crispy hash browns. Overall my meal was more than satisfactory and I enjoyed viewing all of the fun and interesting collectibles. I wanted to dine inside this Pit Stop Diner today for my dinner meal. I ordered the Gyro Sandwich. The ingredients are very tender pieces of Lamb meat with sliced tomatoes, sliced cucumbers and purple onions that is wrapped in a large size pita style tortilla looking wrap.. This Gyro Sandwich is served with the same veggies that are filled inside this Gyro Sandwich on the side of this plate. These vegetables are sliced cucumbers, sliced red tomatoes and sliced purple sweet onions. Amir told me he will give me 2 containers of this white thick creamy Ezekiel sauce. This sauce was really tasty. I applied this white sauce onto the top of the 3 thick tender pieces of Lamb meat. This sauce has a tangy flavor to it. I can taste the vinegar in this sauce but it still was really good and this sauce paired really well with this Gyro Sandwich. Amir the owner told me This Gyro Sandwich is very filling so I will not need to add a side dish along with it. but I can order a side of French Fries if I want to. I told Amir, I am a small eater and that Gyro Sandwich will fill me up. I took Amir the owners; good advice. I only ordered a large size FUZE Raspberry Iced Tea as my beverage. I did ask about their Malted Milk Shakes. Jose who is a new guy that is working for the Pit Stop Diner. Jose was working tonight at the front counter taking their customers orders and of course my order too. Jose told me their Malted Milk Shakes comes in a large size cup and they use real Ice Cream that is made fresh on a daily basis with real cream and milk. Their flavors are Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla. Jose said would I be interested in ordering their very famous Ice Cream Sundae? I told Jose no thank you. I ordered their really yummy ice cream sundae last time I was dining inside their Pit Stop Diner and I couldn't finish it. I had to take this 3 large scoops of vanilla ice cream with Hershey's Syrup drizzled on top of this vanilla ice cream and you get 3 maraschino cherries with crushed peanuts and whipped cream. This 3 Scoop Ice Cream Sundae was really delicious. It took me 3 days to finish this Ice Cream Sundae at my home because it was HUGE. I told Jose I will wait until after I eat my Gyro Sandwich and then if I have extra room in my stomach I will order one of their Strawberry Milk Shakes because Strawberry is one of my favorite ice cream flavors. Jose told me all of their Malted Milk Shakes are served with whipped cream topping. The price is $7.99. I love Ice cream and especially I treat myself sometimes to ordering a Malted Milk Shake. But maybe the next time I eat inside the Pit Stop Diner I will order a Malted Milk Shake as a treat and no food. I noticed when I walked inside at 4 p.m. since it was on a Friday night and it was dinner time. There was already a long line of people waiting to be served by Jose. I counted about 8 people men and women customers who were standing in line. I was the last person to be in line at 4 p.m. Amir their owner he noticed me when I walked inside their diner and he waved and smiled at me. I smile and waved back at Amir. Amir he is a really awesome person who he treats all of his customers like they are his family. Amir he doesn't treat people like he is better than them. That made me feel comfortable and I felt welcomed eating inside his Pit Stop Diner. Also Robbie who is his brother in law. Robbie is another employee who is was very friendly to me today and whenever I dine inside their Pit Stop Diner I am always welcomed with a warm greeting. I told Amir I am open to trying out new things and this Gyro Sandwich at their diner. The price is $10.00. The Raspberry Iced Tea was $3.49. I also paid the. 20 percent tip was $2.92. The total bill was $17.51. I learned that it is much cheaper for me to just drive over to a restaurant and dine inside. Instead of placing an online order on the Door Dash App or their website.
