It was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had! Wow, did I really just say that? Isn't that pretty strong language for a lowly piece of fried poultry? Did I imagine it? This location is inside the Windmill food hall. The hall was absolutely bustling on the Friday night we visited. Wait time for three burgers and two orders of frings wasn't bad--maybe 10 minutes. We tried the BBQ burger, the Cosmos burger, and the Blue Cheese burger. They were all very good but the BBQ was, by far, the best. It comes with two enormous onion rings, bacon, cheese, and tangy BBQ sauce and your very best snake jaws probably cannot bite this beast. It's an outstanding burger. The Cosmos burger comes with carmelized onions and it's a solid choice. The Blue Cheese burger comes with just a hint of blue cheese and it was undetectable and a disappointment. The burger meat on all three burgers was very well seasoned and delicious. But if you're going to sell a blue cheese burger, put some blue cheese on it, guys. Blue cheese fans love the flavor of blue cheese. You get a very good portion with the frings (onion rings and fries). The onion rings are not greasy and they are very good. The fries were not seasoned and were very average. They were better than In-n-Out fries but that's not saying much. Overall, these burgers are very good. Ordered the BBQ Chicken Tenders which is PRETTY PRICEY for delivery. $14, but with gratuity, delivery, and tax it is $18.44. The order arrived and was just bbq sauce poured over chicken strips with garnish and pickles. I do give props for the tenders being MASSIVE and filling. It also had a chili sauce which gave it a nice but mild sweet kick. The coleslaw on the burger didn't have much flavor to it. I think that could use improvement. I loved the pickles. The fries were delicious. I love the little bowl it's served in. The ranch was surprisingly tasty too. I ordered lemonade which was waaaay too sweet for me. The food stand did not seem too busy on a Thursday afternoon around 5:30 the so the service was pretty quick. We ordered the "hot chicks" tenders and they were unfortunately not good...The chicken was cut with the grain and not against, making each tender extremely chewy, tough, and dry.
