My fellow Yelp friend Shay kept telling me I had to try main chick hot chicken. He raved about it so I had to take his word and come try it. I'll admit it took me way too long and he kept asking me had I tried it yet? Well, now, finally I can say I have and I was not disappointed. I walked in to an empty store with no one at the counter. They saw me but didn't acknowledge me so I realized I needed to order through the kiosk, which is a bit annoying. I had perused the menu above the counter previously so I knew what I wanted. Ordering through the kiosk was straightforward and easy, but I did have questions and the staff looked too busy, so I didn't ask them. My order came out quickly, and I took it to go. When I left the store, there was a short line of people waiting to order. I imagine they can get very busy. I also saw a sign on the counter after I ordered that there was a lunch special. I will totally come back to try it. When I finally got home and was able to eat my chicken meal, I was surprised at how good it was. It's a bit different than anything I've had. I like the powder? coating on it. It's very flavorful. I got mild and it definitely had a small kick to it. It was super crispy and the chicken inside was tender, hot and juicy. We were first-time customers who live nearby and decided to give this place a try. We placed an online order and picked it up. Our order included a combo and an $8 cheesecake. When we got home, we realized the cheesecake was missing. We immediately tried calling the restaurant, but no one answered since they were close to closing. The next day, we called to explain what happened and asked if they could either refund the $8 or simply provide the cheesecake that we had already paid for. Instead of trying to help, the woman who answered was rude and asked why we didn't call the night before. We explained that we did try, but no one answered. She still refused to offer a refund or provide the missing item. When we asked to speak with a manager, she told us there isn't a manager. Mistakes happen, and forgetting an item isn't the real issue. The disappointing part was the complete lack of customer service or willingness to make it right. For an $8 item that was never provided, a simple refund or replacement would have gone a long way. The food itself was average, but the customer service was enough that we won't be returning. There are plenty of other places nearby that value their customers and stand behind their orders. Based on our experience, we can't recommend this restaurant. The lack of accountability and unwillingness to correct a simple mistake left a very poor impression, and the staff could benefit from better customer service training. read more

Updated review - I finally made it in person to the shop to have everything fresh! The fries are even better than normal, still super consistent and crunchy and seasoned perfectly. The chicken was also amazing as always, but I tried something new since seeing the menu, and that's the banana Nutella cheesecake. Ohemgee, definitely one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had! So creamy with a subtle banana flavor, and Nutella swirl to kick it up a notch.. this will definitely be a go to when my husband picks up next time! Staff was super friendly, and the food came out quickly. Prices are also pretty decent, and they have a few offers for lunch specials and happy hour for a few bucks off certain combos. I've been wanting to check this place out in awhile but have always forgotten about it. A few days ago, we were in the neighborhood and decided to drop in. I'm glad we did, I got the medium Chicken thighs and it was made fresh to order. It was spicy, crunchy, savory and the seasoned crinkle fries made it a complete meal. The sauce was delicious, I tripled and double dipped many times per chicken bite, that's how good it was. First time here. Pretty impressed. Probably more authentic "Nashville Hot Chicken" than other places. Hotness levels are pretty accurate. "Spicy" is legit. "Supreme" is only for the daredevil. Unique sauce - a kind of honey mustard mayo. Not a Chick-fil-A sauce, not a Big Mac sauce, not a Freddy's fry sauce. Different. And together with some coleslaw and pickle on the sandwich makes for a very tasty hot chicken sandwich. Fries were very well seasoned but a little overcooked in my opinion. DUUUUUUUUUDE! This place was awesome! The chicken was perfectly cooked juicy and tender with a fantastic spice. We got the combo #2 and #3 to share and it was so damn good. Came here for lunch with my hubby. We beat the lunch crowd, so we got our food quickly. The food was very good and served freshly cooked. Piping hot. I was quite surprised at the Ube Cheesecake dessert, delicious and creamy. I like the roomy dining area. It was clean and organized. This location is a strip mall but with plenty of parking. It does get quite busy in this area since it is not only in a residential area but with business parks nearby as well. Fries were cooked crispy. Overall tasty. My biggest complaint is the spice level. It was medium at best. I have been here before and another location and the spice level was completely off the mark. The only reason I would go to Main Chick is for spicy hot chicken and medium doen't come close. Maybe the order was wrong. Both combo plates were the same. Even the fries were lightly spiced. The not so good part is the price, and how they charge so much extra for their sauces! $1.79 for some damn honey??? $.79 for the Main sauce???
