Next to Xu Liu Shan in the Tokyo Central plaza, this place is much quieter than XLS when we visited on a Tuesday afternoon. It might be because it's quieter to make tea than desserts, so it's a good place for us to chat. The menu seems quite complicated as the Chinese naming are too elegant to understand what exactly is in each item. So juggling between their menu star recommendations, Yelp AI features and their English items, we placed our orders. Conclusion, it's easier to just look at the order kiosk than the printed menu. Lol. I tried the Da Hong Pao Milk Tea. You can select ice level to 0 and sugar level to 0, but for me, I still wouldn't call the tea flavor strong enough. Maybe because I'm used to the HK style milk tea where the tea was extra strong. I ordered just a plain milk tea with whole milk, there's a layer of foam on the top and I almost thought they gave me cheese top by accident. Service was really quick and polite. Our tea was made in less than 5 minutes after placing the order. You will hear a ding sound but they won't call out your name or the order, maybe they do that when it's less busy. Lastly, the staff was super nice to help us take a picture.
I stumbled upon this new location while shopping at Tokyo Central in the Merlion Plaza in Cupertino. Moontea takes over the previous Tiger Sugar boba tea space. The parking is ok as it can be busy during peak hours. Updated, spacious and remodeled to include tables and seats for people to sit and relax. Kiosk to order from. One unisex restroom. Peach Oolong Tea. The tea flavor is strong with the light hint of peach. The drink is not too sweet and you can adjust the sweetness level. Their special lids allow the tea to be sipped and slowly enjoyed. Support your local business.
Moontea has been compared to so many other popular milk tea chain stores in San Jose. So many drinks, so little time! Parking may be difficult if its a busy time during the week. The plaza is super popular with the restaurants, supermarket, and dessert places. Menus are on digital signage on televisions above the pickup area and on the shop's electric posterboard signage. The shop's aesthetic all runs on the same theme which made everything look very consistent. Service was all dedicated to making and readying drinks. Dan Cong Milk Tea has rich oolong flavor. There's some floral notes, but it isn't overwhelming at all. I liked this one out of all the drinks I tried. Sweet-Scented Milk Tea has rice pieces in the drink itself. If I had to compare, the texture was similar to soybean skins. It is a sweet and floral oolong milk tea drink. White Champaca Milk Tea is a super floral oolong tea out of all the drinks ordered. I know people have tried to compare this drink to other milk tea stores, but I feel that MoonTea is still a little different. Ceylon Milk Tea tasted like the usual ceylon milk tea. Nothing super special worth mentioning, but it was well done. Not everything has to be extremely unique... just has to be done right! Definitely will come back to try the food and other drinks. I love how spacious and clean the store is despite the high foot traffic. Prices are worth paying for the quantity and quality. They are better than some other tea stores in the bay area!
It's actually pretty solid. The Jasmine is quite similar to Molly's, for a better price and more volume. The service is actually p quick and they were really nice about swapping drinks too, even when it was pretty busy. The inside is like most modern oriental milk tea places. Clean and simplistic. In terms of other drinks the Dan Cong, is p good with a nutty flavor too.
A good tea option in the bay area! A little bit more watery compared to similar tea shops but the size is much bigger which I appreciate!! Tea taste is still yummy and strong. This was my first time trying the cream top, and I feel like it didn't add anything to the drink so I don't think I will be getting it again. It just tasted really airy lol. Overall, a solid option, and service was quick on a Thursday afternoon!
Finally got to try this milk tea spot. In my opinion, I like this more than Molly Tea. I ordered the jasmine milk tea with whipped cream and pecans. The drink was delicious and very aromatic. The interior was clean and bright. Service was quick and it took less than 10 minutes to get our drinks.
I got the hot Jasmine Milk Tea with whipped cream and pecan ($7.25). I feel like this taste so much better when it's hot, the flavors are slightly more muted then when you drink it cold. Drinking it hot is like a warm hug, it's comforting and relaxing. I always get 0% for the sweetness levels, the whipped cream gives it the perfect amount of sweetness imo. The pecans are good, just wish it was more crunchy.
One of my favorite milk tea spots in the bay! Their teas are always so potent and strong, not overpowered by the milk at all - clean bright interior, they sell food so some people were sipping on drinks and eating while studying/working - order on a kiosk, service is quick (1) sea salt green milk tea: a seasonal menu drink, the salt hits you right away and mellows out with the smooth green tea, that salt almost makes the drink creamy - overall a yummy refreshing drink (the 25% sweetness was perfect for that not too sweet flavor and really let the tea shine) (2) jasmine milk tea: a classic flavor, they do it so well here, its floral, clean, and refreshing
Moontea has been open for awhile and is located next to gyukaku in cupertino marketplace plaza and today I finally got to try it! I am a huge Chagee fan and heard this place was pretty similar. We ordered on the self serve kiosk and the line went pretty fast. I got a peach oolong milk tea (also my go to at Chagee), which was fragrant and fruity. Their teas are stronger and typically not as sweet but you could adjust the sweetness. A total hidden gem that offers Chinese style milk teas! It satisfied my milk tea cravings and didn't make me feel heavy at all. They also offer toppings now, so I added brown sugar boba in mine for my sweet tooth. If you like Molly tea or Chagee, this place is very similar and does their teas extremely well! Highly recommend and will be putting my friends on this.
New specialty milk tea shop. it is located in the same complex as Tokyo central supermarket. it is interesting decoration with Halloween theme. you ordered from the touch screen kiosk. if you want to order non milk tea, you are out of luck. Everything is tea with milk but you can substitute the regular milk with Oat milk. Beside drink they also have bite size snack like sausage and stinky tofu. it has table if you want to seat They also has lemon team but ran out when we visit. it will be available on 10/28. We order Peach oolong milk tea with Oat milk and osmanthus milk tea. To be honest, I am at the edge on this as the order we have lack of tea. I thought it will be strong tea with milk. it was light tea flavor. I love the cup design though.
Final Thoughts: 4.00/5 This place has been open for a while now, but previously they did not have boba, so we just never stopped by here. Today, after our dinner, we saw that they did have boba on the menu, so we decided to give it a try. Simple, solid 4 star for today. Drink: Da Hong Pao Milk Tea (with regular ice, lactose free milk, and 25% sweetness): 4.0/5 This was the drink I chose for today. For the flavor of the tea, I actually really like the strength of the tea with the milk. The tea flavor is really prominent and I like the smell of it. It appears they use the tea leaves and he smell of them are quite nice. It seems really fresh and light and mixes well with the milk. Something interesting is that they label their lactose free milk as just that. Perhaps they actually use lactose free milk for the dairy free option versus a milk alternative like almond milk or oatmilk. No concerns with the milk options, but just a note since lactose free milk seems to be more of an umbrella term. The sweetness worked Chocolate Ceylon My W Hazelnut Chocolate Cheese W Cocoa Powder Figs: 3.8/5 My friend's drink today that I tried for review purposes. This was was also quite good in general. If you like the combination of chocolate and hazelnut, you'll probably like this one. It seems to be a blended drink. The flavors work well together and compliment each other. Of note though, this drink might have too many flavors happening in it because the figs did drown somewhere in the drink. Chocolate and hazelnut are two stronger flavors, so perhaps just leaving it at that would have been fine. Boba was alright for me too. Some flavor to it with a nice texture (some chew with that little bite). Menu: Difficult to read Their menu options are quite limited. I like that they have an indicator showing the strengths of their tea. This is really what I went off of because I like the taste of a strong tea, so I chose the one with the 4 leaves. Of note, there are no hot drinks available here, which would have been my desired choice as the temperature outside is super cold. Kind of interesting given they could have just warmed up the drinks. Something about their physical menu too is that the text is super small. I am super vision impaired and could not read the menu inside. My options were to walk outside to see the menu standing out in the front (also small text by the way) or have my friend read out the drinks for me. Perhaps making it larger would help or put the menu in various places around the café itself as the seating and waiting area is observed to be spacious. ---Side note for the menu: Descriptions on their DoorDash Ordering Menu Descriptions of what each drink is or what they may taste like would be helpful too because they do have the drink names in multiple languages, but no description or anything. Your average person would perhaps have no idea what the taste of each drink is without something more than just the name. If you really do want a description though, go to their doordash ordering menu and you'll be able to find it there. This would have been very helpful on their actual in-store menu. --------- Quality: Made in bulk perhaps The drinks came out quite quickly, so I'm thinking that the drinks and teas are made in bulk, placed into the large dispenser containers and then poured into the drinks as they are ordered. I've learned that making some things in bulk shouldn't take too much of the flavor or quality away though. The taste of the drinks we got were quite good, so nothing too significant to note here. Price: Fair for the item provided For two drinks, the price was around $15, which is very average and fair for the size and item provided. Price ranges will be within $6 to $8. Their cups are on the larger side, but to be fair, a lot of it is just milk and tea. Service: No interactions We actually didn't have any interactions with the workers here during this visit. We ordered at a kiosk and the drinks were just put in the front once completed. You'll know when the drinks are ready because they do have a signOf note, the drinks did come out fairly quickly to which my friend attributed to them making their teas in bulk. Ambiance: Spacious The interior is very spacious and does have a strong scent of their teas. This place gives me Molly Tea vibes, but that might be attributed to the smell and drinks provided in general. Many tables are available here, so you can choose to sit here, drink, and hang out or you can choose to pick up the drink and go. Location/Parking: Marketplace Cupertino It's located in the plaza on Stevens Creek Blvd. On the map, it states Marketplace Cupertino. This parking lot is large if you think about the space as a whole. If you just think about the parking space where Gyukaku, Curry Hyuga, and Moon Tea are, the spaces are almost limited and kind of tight. We typically don't have a concern with finding a parking spot here because there is a lot of turnover happening.
This place is great. Rather than sticking to just 1 tea spot I just have a rotation of places so I don't get tired of the place. Currently MoonTea is one of the spots on heavy rotation. Haven't really tried too many different drinks here yet but so far the jasmine milk tea with whipped cream and pecans has been one of my go to picks.
A kiosk is located right by the entrance and you pickup your drink at the front of the store when you're number is called. They have a TV that shows numbers that are ready for pickup. They also have a shelf for online orders. They were quite busy on a Wednesday afternoon for their soft opening. My partner ordered the Peach Oolong Milk Tea with Whipped Cream & Hickory with Boba. When we walked out with the drink, my partner realized it was missing the boba! He went back inside and they put a scoop of boba in his cup. I ordered the Ceylon Lemon Tea since they didn't have the Peach Lemon tea. There's only a handful of non dairy items on the drink menu. They offer lactose free milk though if you would like to use that as a substitute. I don't know how this will compete with the likes of other boba shops in close vicinity as it's a tough market to be in.

The modern interior and decor immediately caught my attention as I walked past Gyu-Kaku, so I decided to stop by and give it a try! The line wasn't too bad, and I appreciated that they had the menu displayed outside. It's a nice touch, as it lets you decide what you want before reaching the kiosk (though they only have one). I ended up ordering the Roselle Peach Lemon Tea after seeing someone else with it, and I really enjoyed it! The tea was refreshing, with just the right amount of sweetness. I was a bit surprised to find out they don't offer toppings like boba, lychee, or aloe, but after doing some research, I discovered that MoonTea's mission is to deliver the tradition, freshness, and authentic taste of Hunan (a province in China). It made sense after that--they're all about keeping it simple and true to their roots. I'd definitely come back and try their other popular drinks. This place seems like a great spot for a refreshing pick-me-up! read more

特別推薦品項：聲聲烏龍 peach oolong latte Four Stars - The milk tea here is excellent. I'll definitely be coming back often. Food: The milk tea is very good. The shop describes its flavors as Changsha-style, and having tried Chayan Yuese, the famous tea brand from Changsha, I find this place very similar. Drinks like Sheng Sheng Oolong and Yan Huo Yi Leng taste almost the same. Most items are delicious, though a few drinks have a slightly more artificial flavor (such as the camellia flavor). The noodles are also great! I tried both the mixed noodles and the hot-and-sour vermicelli, and both were very flavorful and aromatic. The crawfish tastes a bit like reheated frozen food--but in a good way; it's tasty frozen food. The large sausage tastes somewhat like plant-based or processed meat, which I personally didn't enjoy. The stinky tofu is very much in the authentic Changsha style. Price: It has good deals now, which is also the reason I eventually decided to rate it as four rather than three. I've already visited three times within the first week after they opened. At the moment, they're running a grand opening promotion on FanTuan, a delivery app: no membership required, a $5 discount on orders over $10. Service: This place mainly focuses on takeout, so there isn't much service interaction to comment on. Environment: The Cupertino location is clean and tidy. Overall: Highly recommended! Special recommendation: Sheng Sheng Oolong (Peach Oolong Latte) read more

I came to Cupertino for futomaki at Tokyo Central, and spotted MoonTea with soft opening, so I had to try it out. I ordered a basic Jasmine milk tea with very little sugar, lots of milk, the drink really hot the spot! The tea was made of high quality Jasmine tea, strong and fragrant. I will definitely come again. The price was around $6.25, which is more reasonable than the normal tea places that I frequent in San Jose. It is messes some awesome restaurants, so you can stop by here after a nice meal at those places. read more
Moon Tea is one of my top favorite boba places. They specialize in different types of teas and you can actually taste the tea in the milk tea. Earlier this year, they started serving boba which makes their drinks even better. Some of my favorite milk teas include Da Hong Pao, Ceylon, Jasmine and Four Seasons. There is usually a seasonal menu too. Loulan and Loulan coconut are my seasonal favorites. There's a kiosk where you order your drinks. Usually the drinks come out fast but during busy time the wait can be longer. There's plenty of seating which makes it a great place to hangout. read more

If you're looking for a boba place with strong and fragrant tea, this is the place for you! I got the jasmine milk tea with 50% sugar and less ice. It's the perfect place for those who crave milk tea with more of a tea flavor. MoonTea's Jasmine milk tea reminds me of Chagee's boya juexian/伯牙绝弦 a lot. I also think it tastes similar to MollyTea, but has less of a wait and in my opinion, has a stronger tea taste. read more
This used to be tiger sugar! What I got : Jasmine Milk Tea with whipped cream and figs : 4/5 Strong Jasmine flavor without it tasting like grandma! I docked a point because I felt the whipped cream was needed and bay area pricing lol Da Hong Pao Milk tea : 3/5 Average, tea flavor wasn't strong and whipped cream and pistachios ruined it for me personally :o Wait time was enough to noticed but I think that's given because it's a soft opening but service was still nice. I really like the bag you have to pay for but it was only 25 cents so I felt like it was worth it :3 Ambiance was nice in there but definitely busy, which is given since I came on a Sunday but not longer than Izumi lol Overall good alternative for a sweet treat that isn't Izumi read more
This shop is in a great location. I like to stop by for tea or after meals if I'm in the area. There is ample parking, but it can get busy during peak hours, especially during the weekends. My favorite thing to order here is the Da Hong Pao Milk Tea (hot, 25% sweet). It has a very strong tea flavor. I love this tea, but I'm careful not to order it too close to bedtime because it seems to have a high caffeine content. I've also ordered the White Champaca Milk Tea, which has a light and floral taste. I'm not a fan of floral teas, but they definitely have them on the menu if that's your thing. I can't recall if they offered boba as a topping when they first opened, but they do now! In addition, I like that their menu indicates if an item contains nuts. Overall, if you love tea, I think this is a great shop to try. read more

The milk teas were tasty and surprisingly very subtle on the sweetness. Despite a 75% sweetness, it was not as sweet as other teas I've tasted. Between the sausage and the cold noodles, I think the sausage was my favorite, very flavorful, had a nice snap, and juicy. read more

2.5 STARS Before I get called a hater, I'm a big fan of MoonTea's original location in Sunnyvale. I gave them 5 stars and have visited over a dozen times since their opening in June 2023. My go to is their Da Hong Pao MT (oolong based) and the Changsha Stinky Tofu (stinky, spicy deliciousness). They've been consistently solid at their original location since day one. I get their Cupertino location is in soft opening mode (week two) but I had a very poor experience. They weren't busy at opening time but their poor/lack of communication caused a 45 minute wait for my two go-to items...that wasn't even available. No apologies given. If you're going to have a *limited* menu, then a full menu shouldn't be displayed and a sign should be posted that only certain items are available. To top things off, the substitution tea (Ceylon MT) was missing ice and I didn't receive the reusable insulated bag that other customers received. Hope to have a better experience next time so I can update my rating. O T H E R I N F O: * MoonTea's second Bay Area location took over Tiger Sugar in Cupertino's The Marketplace. * In-person ordering via one kiosk with online ordering and delivery to come. * Limited menu. No stinky tofu at this location yet but they have Cupertino exclusive items like spicy crawfish, jelly noodles, and dried tofu (ours was bland, where's the spices and heat?) * Their frappé series is similar to Molly Tea's snowy whipped series and Wow Tea's cream top series. * Lactose-free milk +25 cents. * Modern, spacious indoor seating compared to their Sunnyvale location that's outdoor seating only. read more
New location in Cupertino! I've been to the Sunnyvale one a few times and enjoyed it, so it's nice to have another location with shorter lines. The shop is very aesthetic and has quite a few tables too. There's also Changsha snacks on the menu like noodles, tofu, sausages, and even crawfish! I would recommend the Da Hong Pao Milk Tea or the Peach Oolong Milk Tea! Both are very fragrant and perfectly sweetened for me (50%). If you are looking for a lighter and floral milk tea, the White Champaca is great too. read more

We came to check out this spot and got the following drinks: White Champaca Milk Tea: (5/5) we got the recommended 75% sugar level with less ice. First time trying this flavor and we absolutely enjoyed it! Didn't realize that this tea is from a magnolia flower but it makes sense since it does have a floral taste to it (learning something new everyday :)). Jasmine Milk Tea: (5/5) we got the recommended 75% sugar level with less ice. We normally get Jasmine Milk tea at our various go-to spots and have to play around with sweetness + ice levels but we thought the recommended 75% here was fairly less in sweetness (and on par with to our liking). Overall drink is not overpowering either. Sea Salt Green Milk Tea: (2/5) we got the recommended 50% sugar level with less ice. The mixture of the sea salt and the green tea just didn't go well to our liking despite it being a popular drink. Cost per drink was $5.75+ depending on modifications or add-ons. I would definitely come back again! Service was super fast! Ambiance was nice. Plenty was seating and clean. read more
Located in a busy plaza, I believe this place replaced tiger sugar next to that Japanese bbq place. I liked how the menu is placed outside. The interior is modern and clean, it has alot of lights which I thought was cool. There wasn't a wait luckily and there were 2 self ordering kiosks. I got the regular oolong milk tea. I thought it was alright, I wished it was more tea based it was more on the milky side. I would come back to give it another chance and try more menu items. read more
Came on a Sunday and it's newly opened in Cupertino next door to Hui Lan Shan. There was a line but not too long to wait. You place your order off a kiosk and you get a number which shows up on the tv screen or you get a text. It didn't take long for my drink to come out. I ordered the standard black tea which is called Da Hong Pao. Reviews said it was strong but I didn't think so. Depends if the person is use to drinking sweet over the tea. On their menu, there are other drinks besides milk tea. I met up with a social group and they found their drinks to be good. The place is well lit and the decor gives it a cheery, casual environment. It wasn't too noisy. I was able to hear everyone. It was worth the drive to Cupertino from San Jose to enjoy the milk tea while window shopping and trying desserts in the plaza. read more

Moon tea is one of my favorite places to go to. The tea flavor is strong enough for you to taste, but it is not bitter like some other tea places. The Rose milk tea is light because of the lime cheese. The lime cheese has a stronger presence in the drink, so it tasted similar to fruit loops the more u drink it. It can taste very different at first, but I promise you it tastes better the more you drink it. ( feels like stockholm syndrome, so feel free to let me know) read more
I think this used to be Tiger Tea? But I saw the line and I wanted to try. Line moves moderately fast as you order by kiosk. While there isn't boba available, you can get cheese foam on top. I got Jasmine milk tea with the recommended 75% sweetness, and it was perfect for me. I enjoyed my drink and look forward to trying more! read more

I thought this place was interesting because they have a good selection of tea/milk tea but absolutely zero toppings! No boba, no grass jelly, nothing. I guess they want you to appreciate the tea more. I got one of the black milk teas with no sugar (I think I got Ceylon). Since there was no syrup (no boba), 0% sweetness really was that, absolutely no sweetness but I thought it was decent. I like my drinks at maybe 5-10% sweetness with the boba syrup but since that is not an option I guess I could try the 25% or equivalent option. The tea was quite strong though. I was very wired throughout the entire day. They also have some interesting savory food to order if you want. Fun fact: The artwork on the shelf seems to be AI art which I found amusing. read more
Newer tea shop in the plaza with soft opening sign. Some parking available, wasn't too busy when we came in on a Saturday around 1:30 pm. Had kiosk to order and good amount of seating inside. It got more busy as we were there. Was intrigued to try the four seasons milk tea. Unfortunately no boba option. The tea tasted pretty authentic and was good balance in sweetness at 75%, 50 might've worked too. But felt it wouldn't been nice with boba. The cup had nice packaging and was a decent price ($5.95). Was full to try the food but would next time! read more
Came here for the soft opening. The drink is pretty good. Just teas. No boba but that's fine with me. I enjoyed my drink as it's flavorful. Not too sweet. It was perfect. Just wish we can adjust ice levels because I don't like much ice. Plenty of seats inside and the service was fast. You can walk around the plaza as lots of other dessert and restaurants there. I am still trying to figure out the special straws that they offer. It's almost like a coffee stir straw stick. I thought that was interesting to use read more
MoonTea is the newest boba spot in Cupertino, and I was excited to check it out, especially with the display of tea canisters that promised a great selection. I was hoping the tea flavors would shine through in the drinks, but unfortunately, they felt a bit too light on flavor and overly milky for my taste. Ordering is done via a kiosk, and you wait for your number to appear on the screen. Since it was still a soft opening, some menu items weren't available. However, they did have a good selection of snacks, including stinky tofu. You can customize your drink's ice level and sweetness, and they offer lactose-free milk options as well. I'm hopeful that as they settle into their new location, the drinks will improve and offer a stronger tea flavor. read more
Moon tea is a new tea place in the Marukai plaza that replaced Tiger sugar. I came here during the grand opening around a month ago. The parking is packed during peak lunch/dinner hours. The inside of the shop is pretty nifty and I like the "living menus" on the TV. The line went fast and I got my drink immediately after ordering. I got the Ceylon milk tea and I thought it was good! It had a strong tea taste and had the right amount of sweetness (50% sweet). The price and value of the drink were pretty good as well. I think this tea shop is a great addition to the plaza as it was lacking a classic milk tea shop! read more
Been here a few times and really like it! I get the 4 seasons oolong tea with lactose free milk. Sometimes there's a bit of a line as there's only 1 kiosk to self order at and wait for the drinks but that's expected as it's in a popular plaza. The interior is nice and very brightly lit and there's chairs and tables inside. Whenever I'm in the plaza I like to stop by. Similar to Molly tea but a bit cheaper! read more

Drinks were okay. I like how they had lactose free milk. Tried six of their drinks and my ranking from best to worst: da hong pao milk tea, jasmine milk tea, osmanthus milk tea, ceylon milk tea, soy milk tea with foam, and sweet scented osmanthus milk tea. Da hong pao flavor was strong and had depth, very delicious. Jasmine milk tea could rival the new Molly Tea. Sweet scented osmanthus was the rice wine dessert commonly served in chinese meals, didn't feel right as a drink. Ceylon was ok. Service was okay, it was pretty busy for a sunday afternoon on soft opening so it makes sense they have some things to work out. The store ambiance itself is over stimulating. The lights are super bright and music is pretty loud. The tables also look kind of old and its surprising because the store is new. Not sure if I would come here to catch up with friends because it doesnt feel very comfortable. read more
Stopped by this place for boba after lunch and it was a good experience! I love the way they decorated this place and the ambiance was trendy and felt like a place to chill and grab a drink or snacks with friends. The service was fast and the wait wasn't too long. It is still soft opening. The drinks were reasonable priced and the tea tasted fresh and aromatic. The white champaca tasted creamy but the tea taste was still there. The da hong pao was the milk tea with the strongest tea flavor and it tasted delicious! It wasn't bitter and the tea and creaminess worked well. Will definitely come back! read more
This MoonTea is located in the same plaza as Curry Hyuga, Daiso and Yogurtland. The parking can get pretty packed and the plaza definitely gets busy during peak hours. We randomly came across MoonTea and decided to give it a try. Just a friendly reminder that this isn't exactly your tradition boba milk tea spot (it's not like TP Tea or Tastea type of milk tea). Luckily they have the entire menu on a stand outside for you to look at while you're waiting in line to order. There's only one kiosk to order at, no option to order with a staff member, so the line could take a while depending on how long people are taking to order. + Four season milk tea - I opted for all their recommended options and it was alright. It definitely had tea flavor, but it was a very light tea flavor. Maybe it's the lack of sugar that made it less appealing to me. + Ceylon milk tea - I tried a little bit of this one and it was somewhat similar to the four season milk tea, very light flavor. + Scraped jelly noodles - the flavor was great, a mix of spicy and salty but I was not a fan of the jelly noodles. This may be an acquired taste. + Classic sausage - this was cooked nicely, crispy on the outside and still juicy and tender on the inside. Flavor profile was on the saltier side. + Spicy sausage - similar to the classic, the spicy one was also cooked nicely with a chili flake kick to it. I preferred this one over the classic sausage. The store itself was very clean. There were a good amount of tables but once full it's a bit tough to find a seat. Overall, it was worth trying but I personally would not come back. read more
Ordered: Da Hong Pao Milk Tea $5.75 Roselle Peach Lemon Tea 6.45 Plum Four Seasons Lemon Tea 6.45 Changsha Stinky Tofu 6.99 Hearing MoonTea was having a soft opening at their newest location so it only made sense to swing by and give it a look. The market place is often very busy so parking can be difficult. Being the newest tea shop in the area there was somewhat of a line. The inside is very modern. Lots of metal, white, and wood. The stinky Tofu was the winner out of everything ordered. The teas were good the milk tea was my personal favorite although the Roselle was refreshing but lacked sweetness. My tip is watch for your order in case it doesn't show on the ready screen. read more
