This was the area outside our gym.

A huge thank you to Sophia and her team at Moon Valley Nursery! Royal Palm Middle School was hosting an event for our districts superintendent search so we wanted our school to look extra special. The area in front of our gym really needed help. I shared our story and when I told her we had no money she graciously offered to loaned us some plants. Sophia had me come down and choose a few items. We were able to spruce up a few areas and everything looked great for our event. We received many compliments! Thank you so much for coming to our rescue and also for being a wonderful community partner. We sure appreciated you and your entire team! You made a difference to us. Thank you so much!

Not a speck left on the turf after the job.

In my book, Moon Valley Nurseries is A#1 in customer service. These windy storms wreaked havoc on our Brazilian Pepper tree- broken branches and full limbs were damaged. We got 2 estimates... one didn't bother follow up. Moon Valley was responsive, scheduled promptly and left our yard in better shape than they found it. Anthony, the tree cutter was concerned that I know exactly what he was cutting and why. He and his crew did a beautiful job. All the leaves and little sticks that fell in the yard? Gone. Branches along side the house that had broken off and waiting for trash pick up? Gone. I was very impressed.. but this is the over-the-top customer service Moon Valley is known for. Oh- and the 2 estimates from 2 different companies? Almost the same $$, but so much more from Moon Valley!

We had a service contract with Moon Valley on our 4 young fruit trees...I want to share a recent experience. Izzy came for our last visit and was absolutely fantastic. While inspecting our trees she provided guidance explaining everything she was doing, from mulching, wrapping the trunks, putting down gravel fertilizer...explaining where to sprinkle how to spray with water after etc. She explained our water schedule advising us to install 4 drips per tree not 2. She covered everything, how to put netting around the whole tree or just the fruit itself to keep birds away and more. Our trees were thriving but after Izzy's visit it was clear they could have been growing and producing more fruit if the right instructions were explained or written down more clearly. She made a huge difference and we appreciate her time effort and clear instructions. Hopefully our future visits are consistent like hers...Thank you Izzy. We renewed our contract for another year.

We lost a very mature mesquite tree in a storm and needed the right replacement for our front yard. After checking out a few options, we decided to visit the original Moon Valley Nursery on 7th Street. It wasn't the closest location for us, but it turned out to be the best decision we could have made. There was zero sales pressure, and we were fortunate to meet Jeffrey Peters. He gave us a thorough education on the trees we were considering and helped us understand what would work best in our yard. The tree we loved was a little outside our budget, but Jeffrey worked with us and negotiated a price that made us very happy. The delivery and installation team from the 7th Street location were equally impressive. Eric and his crew were prompt, courteous, professional, and efficient. They walked us through everything--from placement to the watering and care schedule--making sure we were completely comfortable before they left. We were so pleased with the entire experience that we ended up purchasing even more! Thank you, Moon Valley Nursery on 7th Street, for an excellent all‑around experience--from sales to delivery to installation.

These were my trees the day they were planted.

Matt Wendt, my salesman at Moon Valley has decades of experience. This is proven by the 4 flourishing trees planted a year ago! My magnolia tree blossomed incredibly large healthy flowers! Matt helped me select trees with varying color to complement each other. Each tree was planted with thoughtful design which included the seasons and location in the yard to complement and frame my house. Thank you, Matt!

Scott and his team did an amazing job! Delivery and install was flawless. Scott was very knowledgeable and took the time to walk me through everything. I'm so proud of how my new Ficus looks in my yard. Is Moon Valley a little more than their competition?...maybe a little. Is it worth it?....absolutely yes! I was also very impressed with the sales team. True professionals across the board. I highly recommend Moon Valley.

Moved into my home November 2021.. everything was great except the landscaping. Saw an ad online for Moon Valley Nursery offering free consultations. Met with Jonnie and she laid a whole plan for my front and back yards: 2 ficus trees, barrel cacti, too many to list and it all looks amazing. Most of it is flowering up and my yard just looks great. The crew leader Ian put a shirt on my Halloween skeleton in the yard!! lol

I found his attitude condescending and felt like he was speaking down to us, which is especially disappointing considering we shop at this store almost every week. An employee had been helping us with a woolly butterfly bush that had obviously been there for a while and was growing significantly sideways. We were concerned about whether it would recover. The employee was very helpful, said he thought it probably would, but understood our hesitation and suggested that we ask at the counter if they would consider a small discount. So we did. The manager came out and told us, "I could have sold that for full price yesterday." Okay... then why is it still sitting there today? He went on to say that he would give us the discount only because his employee had told us to ask, but that in his opinion the plant was not discountable. The discount was 15% on a $29.99 plant. That comes to approximately $4.50. Let that sink in. A regular customer who shops in your store almost every week, whose large backyard is filled with plants, flowers, and trees purchased from your business, was made to feel uncomfortable and talked down to over $4.50. The money was never the issue. We were concerned about purchasing a plant that might not make it, and one of your own employees suggested we ask. Instead of simply handling a very minor request graciously, the manager turned it into an unnecessarily unpleasant interaction. Apparently $4.50 was worth risking the goodwill of a longtime customer. I purchased the plants we already had and then left. I continued on to Home Depot and purchased the rest of the flowers I needed there. All over $4.50. Sometimes customer service costs a business far more than the tiny discount they were reluctant to give.

The greenhouse manager personally assured us she would tag it with my name and hold it until we arranged pickup. Over the weekend, they sold it to someone else. We found out when we showed up today to pick up the tree we had already paid for. Staff left us sitting alone for 15 minutes while they tried to figure out where it went. Nobody came back to update us, so I had to walk to the front myself to learn it was gone. When I asked for my money back and told them how disappointed I was, all I got were blank stares and what felt like a condescending apology, like I was inconveniencing them! Not one person acknowledged that they failed us. Nobody said "this is on us." Nobody said "our system broke down and we'll work to be better." No offer to find a replacement. No discount on a future purchase. No manager stepping in. Nothing. That's not a one-off mistake that could be recovered from; it's bad customer service and there's no recovering from that. A nursery's word should mean something. Here, a "hold" from their greenhouse manager means nothing. They made the mistake and then made it worse with their indifference. If you buy from Berridge, put it in your car before you leave, because a paid-for plant with your name on it isn't safe overnight. Better yet, take your business somewhere that honors its commitments and acknowledges when they mess up.

Wow, the business is so much bigger than you can see from the street! Excellent selection. We wandered around, trying to find what we liked. Such an amazing variety of working fountains on site! We saw one that was perfect, a design that would eliminate the splashing and cleaning drama, and a better size for our space. But wrong color. Along came Sara Cervantes to assist. Good grief, she knows everything to know about this stuff! She walked us all around the grounds showing us pots that would work, and they could make it into a fountain. We made the selection, she had guys come with fork lift to load it up, we made quick decisions about installation date, and BOOM we were done. Got great advice on maintenance. The installers came on the chosen day, dismantled and removed the old monster, and did a beautiful installation job.
