Absolutely beautiful tree that has been well maintained. Probably one of the nicest trees our family has gotten over all the past Christmases, and at a remarkably fair price. Collin did a terrific job finding the tree for us as well as delivering it to our house ahead of schedule. By far and away best Christmas tree experience ever. read more

All my palm trees died and a couple bushes, some survived. They blamed it on me not getting them to mark the best areas... but I did and they marked all the areas they thought would be best. Later I talked to one of the landscapers who planted them, they did plant them quickly (who does not work there anymore so I feel like I can share this) this landscaper said they overcharge a ridiculous amount and other places like whitfill will plant them too for way less. read more

We've been going here to get our Christmas tree's for years from Big Rob but he's no longer there. We bought some citrus trees 2yrs ago, we paid the extra for them to deliver and put them in. Coming out to a couple thousand dollars. The trees have never done well. Our seller came out several times, he replaced them but they still haven't done well. We've done what they told us to do and we have the irrigation set up for them. I called several times the last two weeks to get some help. But the trees are out of warranty and the original seller is gone. The guy I spoke with said it's odd they keep dying and was gonna call me back after he spoke with management to figure out what they can do. That was the third person who said that, and that was last week. I'm really disappointed in their help and communication, I am planning on buying more fruit trees this coming year but will be shopping somewhere else, read more

We received great service the first time we came here and hardly bought anything (maybe one flower). We had such a great experience we decided to come back again and buy some more plants. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a great selection of all kinds of plants, flowers, trees, shrubs, and more. Reasonably priced (a bit more expensive for flowers than picking up a plant from Lowe's) but we much prefer to support a smaller company and especially so since they grow their plants here in Arizona. read more

First time using Moon Valley, but overall the experience was pretty good. Javi and his crew who did the actual planting were fantastic. Super easy to work with, fast, efficient, and the planting went off without issue. The trees weren't inexpensive, but the price was fair. My only complaint is how aggressive the sales staff are. There is no world in which I want to receive an unsolicited call from a sales rep. All things considered, we're happy with the trees and happy with Moon Valley. We would use them again for other large trees. read more

Moon Valley's Tree Care teams are amazing. The trimming teams led by Stephanie L. are amazing. I worked with Izzy for tree care who gave me great service and who worked to get me connected with a trimming team and soil injection appointment. Anthony and his tree trimming team came to shape up my tangelo and Tipu trees. They shaped up my tangelo and even left the fruit on the tree. It was beautiful. Anthony selectively trimmed up my Tipu to make it healthier. Then Anthony took the time to expose the flare on a new planting and my older Tipu. He also educated me as to how to create the berms around the trees for proper watering. After Anthony team left, a lovely gentleman from the soil injection section of Moon Valley came. (I apologize that I can't remember his name). He carefully injected my trees. He was so much more careful than the people I had used before. I felt like he really cared about his job. Thank you. Thanks to those Tree Care Teams from Moon Valley. I highly recommend the Tree Care Teams to keep your trees and landscaping healthy. Trees and other landscaping is an investment. Keep it healthy with the Tree Care Teams from Moon Valley Nurseries. read more

The Warranty is a total scam! DON'T BUY IT (and consider buying elsewhere) Every since they were bought out, it's become a joke. They totally flood the market with ads that contradict each other, and then you come in and the pricing game really begins. My order went from $12K, to $8K, down to $4K. I'm a disabled veteran, and bought the planting service and the warranty. After I reached out about some plants that had died, I was told that I had to go down and pick up the replacement plants and do the work myself. My 20' tall shrubs are dying and there's no way I can pick up or replant those myself. The old family owned business wouldn't ever have let this happen. read more

We were looking to do some landscaping to provide some privacy and obliterate a neighbor's interesting construction project. As seniors, we were finding prices were more than we wanted to pay for what might be a short time. We almost skipped Moon Valley because of their high-priced reputation, but I'm glad we didn't. We met with a designer who solved our problem for a more reasonable price. The installation was on time and the great crew chief (Javier) followed my direction and then decided that one of the dozen trees was not of the same look/quality of the others (It was very one-sided) so he decided not to let them plant it. This was an impressive act for proactive customer satisfaction. They came back yesterday morning with a new tree and we are now really happy when we look into our backyard. read more

I wasn't going to write a review but every time I go outside to my front patio I am reminded of about this terrible purchase decision with Moon Valley on N. 7th Street. Everyone on our street recommended this place for a lemon or orange tree. On our visit in 2019, we toured the rows of trees and selected one, and arranged a delivery date and planing. We were told it was on sale... at half price. We spent a ridiculous amount of money $2500K + to have this orange tree planted which they chose where to plant on our property. That was February 2019. We also purchased two Meyer Lemon trees from Costco that we're in 5 gallon planters the same time for around $25 each. They were super small but healthy plants. We planted them ourselves in the East facing side of our yard. This location is not shaded so much. Fast forward to November 2023: One Costco Lemon tree survived, one did not mostly because of the summer heat. Now for the orange tree we call the money pit or sometimes the Linus Christmas tree, it is pathetic looking. It looked good for about 9 months and once it was exposed to the harsh sun in summer started to fade away. We purchased extra monthly care which was not really helpful and continue to by their Moon Juice but seriously this thing just can't seem to grow. You can see from the pictures that the nursery tree is hardly hanging on after almost 3 years. We did not have our patio paved when it was first planted and it still looked just like this since then. We have had the care team look at it with no real expert advise (which is what we thought we were paying for). In comparison to the $25 Costco lemon tree... it grows like a weed, we cut if back in the spring. It produced maybe 8 lemons in 2020. But now its in the third year and it has produced around 40-50 lemons which will be ready by Jan-Feb 2024. Long story short, Save your money... go elsewhere than Moon Valley. They do not provide expert advice on their trees, just want you to purchase more "warranty" and Moon Juice. Total waste of almost $3K and a major lesson learned. NEVER Ever will buy from this place again. **I want to purchase another Costco tree to replace it but my husband wants to continue giving it a chance. So I regress. read more

I received a coupon in the mail for 60% off (EVERYTHING) in store, from October 25-27 I have never been in here before, so I thought since they are having a sale, I'll try them out, however these people are very dishonest with blatant false advertising, and they refused to honor what the coupon states is on sale. Which states (EVERYTHING in-store). Once you get your items, and you give them the coupon, the employee says the coupon is only good for trees, and ONLY if we plant them in your yard ourselves. I said, it says EVERYTHING in-store and he states, oh well that's an asterisk at the end. As you can see on the back in the small print it says, Offer is only valid on in stock inventory, says nothing about only tees. They blatantly lie, and misguide the public. Not good business. I would go to Summer winds and they have much better customer service there as well. read more

Headed out to Moon Valley nursery on a Saturday to look at a few plants and get some suggestions. I was greeted by Leon who in my opinion is one of the friendliest most knowledgeable people I've met and this includes other businesses outside of the nursery industry. He did not try to sell or push any plants onto me that weren't gonna be right for my home environment. He answered every question I had made sure that I understood the correct process for planting of the plants, the watering schedule and also made sure that we left with the moon juice. We got a great deal on all the plants and I feel like the overall value of Moon Valley nurseries is fantastic. I highly recommend this business and will be returning. Thank you again to Leon who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable with our purchase. read more

Ricardo Ramos and Crew did a great job trimming my trees! He helped me understand how to care for them.

Ricardo and his crew were professional and hard working. I doubted that they could finish in one day, but they did!

Update: We have now been waiting over a month. Moon Valley never got to back to us on the staking of the Ficus trees so we paid for our landscapers to do it (they did an amazing job!). Moon Valley owes us a few more plants, but I'm trying to 'clean slate' the dollars first. As for the $$: Moon Valley owes us a credit of $4,500 on the Wells Fargo 0% interest charge and an additional $428 (which the rep said on 10/16/24 that Corporate was sending a check). I have been texting with Bobbie about every 3 days since Sept. 27 to get this resolved. I'm still waiting. Any advice? read more

Great customer service starting at the nursery right up to planting. Matt greeted us walking into the nursery with professionalism and a positive attitude. He answered all of our questions with no high pressure sales. The day of planting was no different. Ben, Nate, Javi, Jacob, and Taylor were all very nice and professional. They worked as a team and had all trees and plants in the ground and done in a very short amount of time. They all treated me and my property with respect. There are very few people out in the workforce today that has any idea what great customer service is. But for those that do should be talked about. Hints my review! read more

Sheldon Muecke has been and is my go-to guy for all my service calls and he has been incredible. His professional knowledge of trees and plants, his care with the plants and his patience with all of my questions is outstanding. I have learned so much from his visits about the best way to care for my plants and trees. He has patiently explained the reasons and the science behind the best juices to use, the best ways to prevent disease, even explains how to fine tunes my watering schedule after examining my plants on his four scheduled visits each year. He is a wealth of plant knowledge and is happy to answer my questions. He truly loves what he does.
