The service was fast and the scenery was clean and professional. I just wish the curry had more flavor. My fiancé had the jerk, which was pretty good, but my curry was pretty bland.

Really loved the atmosphere here. The customer service they were very nice. Delicious bakery of Jamaican treats. They have a really cool lounge, to listen and chill to some reggae. The curry could have had more seasoning, of curry sauce. The oxtail were good. I would go again if in the area.

Dry baked chicken with sauce on it is not jerk chicken. I'm sorry I don't usually complain but I hate baked chicken so feel a way.

I took a bite of the cocoa bread, lol. But here you have a small curry chicken platter, beef patty and cocoa bread.

Delectable! This treasure is just 10 minutes from home and I never knew. I had a taste for curry chicken this afternoon, and this place definitely hit the spot. The line was long but service was quick and gentle. I ordered a small curry chicken with a beef patty and cocoa bread - it was plenty! The small serving is PLENTY - I ended up eating half of the curry platter and a little less than half of the cocoa bread and patty. It looks like they're extending the spot to include a lounge, so evidently business is booming. Check it out!

I love Montego Bay and used to tutor across the street. The scent of curry cooking in the morning brings back island memories to be sure. I could not be in the area and neglect to order jerk chicken. So, in spite of the fact we ordered two entire meals across the street (Jumping Out The Pot), we walked over and ordered cabbage and jerk chicken from here as well. One would think we had to slay dragons and walk through a desert to reach this restaurant again! The Jerk Chicken falls off the bone. Flavor is rich, deep and a tad spicy. It is the best jerk chicken I've had in the Baltimore. Bar NONE! The cabbage was as good as it always is. I'll be honest. I've been going here as long as they have been open and have never, ever, been disappointed. I love their food!

Proof I bought it last night.

Went in to buy 2 Small/medium Oxtail Dinners last night just to find out from the lady behind the register that they only have one price which is $20 for the oxtail. Ok, fine, we'll have two. During my wait I proceeded to buy 2 coconut rolls and 2 Gizzada. That's how they call it on the receipt but it's the round pastry with brown coconut filling. Got home and I was so disappointed with the meal. It was packed with an over cooked rice and peas, one slice of plantain and don't talk about the oxtail. Buying there I now realize is a hit or miss. $40 wasted. Now to enjoy the coconut goodies. OMG!!! These were bad. They had a weird taste and with further inspection I saw they were turning green and had a rancid smell. I won't be buying from them again. I've had concerns in the pass which I made slide but after tonight I'm done. Don't mind the 1 star. It just because I had to give one.

I had not been to Montego Bay in over 15yrs. The last time I was there the food was not as good as it had previously been. I was in the area and decide to stop by to give them another try. I got a small curry goat with beans and rice veggies and plantain. It was good. Not as good as they where years ago. But I'll be back. I see on the menu that they sell stew peas Thursday- Saturday. I love Jamaican stew peas. So I will be back to try some.

This is my favorite Caribbean restaurant in the area. Staff is incredibly nice. The food is delicious. My favorite dishes are curry chicken, jerk chicken, and oxtail. This is by far the best restaurant in the area. They portion size is great too!

The food was so bad...mushy rice and peas, the callaloo was baby food, and the baked chicken was well coated in the store bought sauce. I also sat and waited an extra 30 minutes for beef patties which never came. Adding insult to flavor injury, this place is a hip hop nightclub! Sat there for over an hour and nothing came on but old school hip hop. I asked for my money back and the lady said "I don't know about island food but that's what trini greens look like." I hate bashing minority businesses but this place is disrespectful. Hopefully they improve drastically in order to survive but, for right now, never come here for food. Sorry...and not sorry.

Caribbean Dynasty Restaurant & Lounge - Baltimore…read more I stopped by Caribbean Dynasty for a lunchtime bite, and the owner was pleasant. The restaurant is easy to find, with close-by paid parking. I tried the sample plate with curry chicken, white rice, and cabbage. The curry chicken was flavorful and tender -- truly delicious! The cabbage was seasoned just right, adding that authentic Caribbean touch. I was a little surprised to receive white rice instead of rice & peas (which I usually expect with Caribbean dishes), so that was a little disappointing. I was expecting $18 value platter but received a ($15) value platter. It appears it may come alive at night -- with a DJ, happy hour specials, and a lounge vibe. Overall, Caribbean Dynasty offers great flavors, friendly service for a grab a go lunch order .

The flavors were bold, perfectly seasoned, and just overall chef's kiss. The Brussels sprouts especially stood out--I'm already thinking about going back just for those alone! I also tried a beef patty, which was really good and a nice addition to the meal. Everything was so good that I'm already planning my next visit. I've got my eye on the Rasta pasta next time!

On arrival, I was confused where the host stand was, so I meandered until someone spoke to me. There was a brief wait before I was seated, then after checking the menu one last time, I did go with the Jerk Mushrooms. As I waited, I looked at the space I was in, which I'd been in before many times when it was Corks. Didn't seem like much had changed. There was a long wait for the food - so long, some rando checked on me. Another 20 mins after that I received the entree. Overall, it was pretty good but not what I thought it would be. The mushrooms were sliced up into slivers, but the dish was flavorful and well prepared. I especially loved the plantains. OK visit, but I will likely do carryout in the future.

The restaurant is so cute with the decor and the music transported me back to Jamaica. As my coworkers I were seated, we were immediately greeted. Service was great and our waitress was super patient. We ordered most of our food and drinks from the HH menu and the. ordered entrees. For drinks, i had the 'Oh My Lychee' Martini and my coworkers had the Hibiscus Margaritas. From the HH menu, We ordered the salmon bites, grilled jerk wings, and jam jam shrimp. We left no stone unturned. The drinks were strong and refreshing, food was hot and amazing and the music was excellent-vibes were there. For entrees, we ordered jerk chicken and oxtails with coco bread. By the time the entrees came, we were stuffed. It was a great experience. Every time I'm in white marsh for work, I stop by. It's so worth it!

Taste of the oxtails and sauce was very flavorful and had a small kick. The sauce went will with the rice too. Coming from an Asian background and someone who has eaten oxtail in different styles I approve this dish. I just wish oxtail portions were a bit more for the price being charged. Fair warning this dish was a bit pricey ($41 after tax), and many things in the restaurant are on the higher end. If you've never tried oxtail or are looking for a unique dish I highly recommend trying this place. Also as a non-Maryland resident this place was definitely a bit of a culture shock for me, so just a heads up for those who are not used to being at these kind of areas to be aware, maybe come with a friend. We were seated immediately, which made sense because the restaurant wasn't busy. Unfortunately, our server never came over, so we sat for quite a while without even being offered water. Eventually, the manager/host noticed we'd been waiting and took our order himself. We ordered the tacos, wings, beef Pattie's, and mac and cheese. The tacos were absolutely amazing and honestly worth the long wait. However, the wings were undercooked and literally cold in the middle. The mac and cheese had great presentation and good flavor, but it also wasn't heated through. The top layer was melted, but the center was ice cold. The beef patties were delicious! Once a waiter finally came to our table with drinks, he promised us a complimentary second round, but it never arrived. The manager did try to make things right by offering us free shots at the bar, which I appreciated. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and has an authentic Jamaican vibe. That said, the upholstered seating could use some attention. I sank so far into the couch that I was sitting noticeably lower than the table, making it uncomfortable to eat. On a positive note, the upstairs bathroom was clean and well maintained. Overall, the food has potential--especially the tacos--but the inconsistent service and improperly heated food made for a disappointing visit.

The line was out the door--even with a reservation, we had to stand outside in the cold. And I'm anemic, so standing out there shivering felt like punishment (at this point, I'm basically an ice sculpture by the door). When we finally got seated, they put us at the table right by the entrance--every time that door opened, a breeze hit me like a slap from Elsa herself . The bar was packed too, which sucked because I would've loved to sit there with my partner and vibe. It was clear they were super short-staffed. No waitress ever came to our table--we had to scan a QR code, order through our phones, and even pay before the food came. Felt more like a fast-casual spot than a nice dinner date. Our drinks took forever and when they finally arrived, they were watered down and weak. By that point we were ready to go, but since we already paid through the mobile menu, we were stuck. It took about 45 more minutes to get our food. By now I couldn't even feel my fingers or toes. But when that food hit the table? Whewww... it slapped ‍ Everything we ordered was chef's kiss. My partner and I both agreed the food was the one saving grace of the entire experience. It was flavorful, fresh, and worth the hype. Just wish we could've actually enjoyed it. We spent a good amount of money and left feeling like we would've been better off just DoorDashing it and eating at home with some Netflix. My partner, who never complains, was genuinely upset about the lack of a server. And I get it--dining out is supposed to be an experience, not just a transaction. So overall... this is a mixed review. Food? 5 stars, no doubt. Experience? 1 star, and I'm being generous. I'll probably try them again on a super slow day (whenever that is), but as far as this visit goes, I'm leaving a 3-star rating--and that's only because the food was so good.
