Simple menu. Oregon's local version of a subway but better! Friendly service from girls behind the counter. Location has plenty of parking. Restaurant is simple & clean.

Half of my Monkey Wrench!

Craving a legit sub sandwich- and didn't feel like subway or jersey mikes. Sometimes you want something besides a national chain. Used to come here when I worked nearby and remembered how good they were. Great decision. The Monkey Wrench is still legend. Basically everything on it, plus mayo, mustard, and spices. So good.

Cozy space that delivers fresh subs with fast service and great employees. Was greeted by all employees walking in and when I was leaving too. Walked in with two subs in mind, the employee recommended the turkey bacon avocado which was a great choice. Subs come on choice of white or wheat bread, and standard toppings of mayo, mustard, tomatoes, lettuce, red onion, oil, and vinegar. Even with the oil and vinegar, the taste wasn't over powered by these flavors. The bread was crisp and crunchy and the turkey was thin and plentiful as the meat is cut to order. If you order online, subs are placed on a side table and the shop has everything you nerd with drinks and chips you can purchase on the side.

Love this place. Great ingredients is what makes the difference here. I've been coming here on the daily pretty much since I've been working near by. Simplicity at its best.

More raw bacon.

RAW BACON I used to like this place. I wish I could rank them 0 stars. The last 3 times, we have ordered, they added unwanted items (that were requested "not" to be on it) to the sandwich. Tonight 3 of the 4 subs had so much mustard scraping it off didn't make a difference- It was beyond saving. What I DID find on 3 of the 4 sandwiches was URENDERED RAW bacon! Absolutely disgusting. The manager had gone home and the staff did not give a shit. Seriously this place is not worth food poisoning.

Always fresh and worth the price. I always get the turkey bacon avocado and everything is made on the spot (the deli meat is sliced in front of you). Simple but really all you need.

Turkey and Swiss fresh ingredients and soft fresh bread

Best sandwiches in town, perfect for a weekend at the lake. It's like the sandwich you dream of.

Good fresh subs with friendly employees. Can't really eat inside, more of a togo spot.

Great sandwiches and staff. A little pricey now, but all food is post-Covid. You do get a lot of sandwich.

Concha was amazing and not dry at all. The classic breakfast sandwich was also delicious! They don't skimp out on the portion. There were so many other pastries I also wanted try, but I guess I'll have to be back!

Finally got to come check out this new location in downtown Beaverton! (This is the old Pip's Donut…read morespace) I usually get their concha at the farmers market but it's nice to see more options at this brick and mortar bakery. Street parking only so it can be tricky during busy times (side note Canard is just across the street from here too!) The order counter is still the same but they rebranded the space with colorful murals against black backgrounds. As soon as you walk in, you see the plentiful selection of baked goods including turnovers, danishes, puffs, croissant, cookies, muffins, and various specialty breads. We came around Christmas time so it was so fun for my toddler to get the red and green concha! We ordered the chicken mole sandwich on a sesame baguette to share (Tu Mero Mole $14) - it was pretty big so it was plenty of food for me and my friend. Although I wish they had a "combo" option that came with a side (either chips or pastry) and a drink. The beans overpowered the chicken with not much avocado jalapeño salsa, and the queso fresco didn't add more flavor to it. Honestly the best part was the pickled onion and the fluffy yet crunchy sesame baguette. The pastries range between $3-$6 each which is very reasonable and we got 2 Conchas and 2 Guava Turnovers - both were very tasty and not too sweet! I would come back and try the other sandwiches and other popular pastries next time!

Elephants is a bright, airy, and inviting space with yummy treats, meals, and fun gifts. As we're new to the area, we weren't sure where to find high-quality Italian deli meats. I love their focaccia, and we were delighted to find a small but mighty selection of imported Italian deli meats. Our favorites are the mortadella and hot coppa. On Sunday, my partner chose the staff pick of the day: Levoni salami- a must try! The deli folks are artisans! They slice and package the meats to perfection. It's like opening a gift when we get home to assemble our sandwiches. All of the peeps working at Elephants are friendly and knowledgeable. I got some pro tips on pairings when they cut the focaccia for me! We also picked up some macarons- chocolate, Earl Grey, and animal cracker flavors. I was silly-happy when they had Earl Grey macarons this time! Look forward to going there in the morning, trying a coffee drink and pastry, and enjoying the adorable patio. I had gelato at NW 22nd, so I know that pistachio flavor is molto bene. I look forward to enjoying some gelato at this location, too.
