Whole beans, lots of lettuce, felt like a nice healthy lunch. At the salsa bar there was a salsa de habanero which was pink. I've lived my whole life in SoCal and never come across this salsa before. Hot, but so refreshing, lots of lime. Could not stop eating it! Clean, super friendly, quick, and really delicious.

Just on the edge of crunchy, and wasn't greasy or soggy at all despite being fried. Chips and salsa were great as well. Highly recommended spot.

I wasn't the only one thinking it was taking forever. Another couple almost left. It took about 30 minutes for the burrito to come out. I'm usually pretty lenient when it comes to waits if it is communicated but there was no communication or even "sorry for the wait" said after. It was also a bummer because you tip at the counter when you order and I felt my tip was pretty generous but then didn't get the service I would expect. I really felt bad for the group of 6 people whose food came out one by one with one person finished as the last person got their food. Again a simple communication goes a long way. It could have been a bad day and their food made up for the lack of service so that's why they still get a 4.

They gave us complimentary chips and green salsa to start with. That Green salsa is a bomb! I will visit this place again and again just for that sauce/salsa ! I had shrimp tacos. I love it when someone serves me basic food right! We also had grilled fish plate which came with beans, rice, grilled fish and salad. This fish was grilled perfectly but it was bit bland. The amazing salsa helped to add more flavour. Overall, lovely place ! Definitely visit again!

Staff are always so friendly, tacos were not salty at all, and they always packed the food so neatly and just the right ratio of meat. They have their own parking lot to the side so if you can't find parking, park there. We ordered take out and even with the 17 min drive back home, the tacos still tasted fresh. I can't imagine what it would be like if we dine in. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting PR! Well worth the visit

Not knowing where to eat on Good Friday, we decided to try a small hole-in-the-wall spot after…read morereading several positive reviews. There are a few things worth noting. First, the restaurant is quite small with a very quiet atmosphere--surprisingly so, especially with a jukebox that wasn't in use. The space didn't feel particularly clean, and the chairs were outdated and could definitely use some refurbishing. When we received the menus, I was honestly shocked by the prices. This is something I wish more reviewers had mentioned. We ordered a shrimp tostada (about $13) and shrimp fajitas (around $24). The shrimp tostada was disappointing--the shrimp was chopped so finely that it was hard to tell it was even there. It was overwhelmed by cucumber, tomato, and cilantro. The fajitas were similarly underwhelming: the shrimp were cut in half and curled up, with maybe around ten pieces total, but there was an excessive amount of large-cut onions and bell peppers, which made the dish less enjoyable. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, and the horchata we ordered was excellent. I did mention that the bell peppers were overabundant and cut too thick, but my feedback didn't seem to go anywhere. One concern I had was seeing staff handle multiple tasks--taking payments, cleaning tables, and serving food--without ever noticing handwashing, which was a bit off-putting. I'm not completely writing this place off, as I'd like to return and try their breakfast. Most reviews are positive, so perhaps this was just an off night. Still, given today's prices, I expect the quality to match. Beans were bland and rice was cold, I'm sure made way ahead of time. I'll update my thoughts after a second visit--judge for yourself in the meantime.

Ahi crudo had such a small amount of ahi, it was questionable. Happy hour tacos were small on the protein and average on taste. The only thing we enjoyed was the jalepine cocktail. Fresh with pineapple and a touch of jalepeno and rimmed with chile and salt. Sad to visit a once special menu and find mediocrity. Yes, food prices are up but quality should not be so far down. Charge more if you must but this was disappointing. Try other spots in town. There are many with promise.

We've only ever come here on a whim, and because of that we usually end up sitting at the bar, but most recently we did get a regular table on a Saturday afternoon. They do take reservations if you want to make sure you secure a spot when and where you want. Favorites are still the tacos and Aguachile, especially the short rib tacos. We've also gotten nachos, oysters, ahi crudo, and taquitos, all of which we would get again. Food comes out pretty quick, but still seems to be very fresh. So it's a great place if you want to sit down, but still get out quick to go back to the wineries.

I had a bare-breasted mermaid ("La Siren") bathing over my table. There were only two-item combos on the menu, but the owner agreed to give me just one chili relleno with rice and beans for a fair price, which was just right. It was served on a scalding-hot plate, gooey with melted cheese, and pretty good, and at a very fair price. The beans do NOT have lard in them. Warm chips and rather spicy hot sauce were served as a starter. It's a mariscos (seafood) restaurant, but I didn't have any. Are mermaids considered seafood? Tucked into the corner of a Starbucks location, this cute little spot is small but super inviting--and definitely lives up to the hype. As soon as we walked in, the place was clean and filled with the delicious smell of spices and fresh food. I ordered the chilaquiles (not listed on the menu, but they'll make it for you with your choice of meat or traditional eggs for the same price). I went with chili verde, and wow--I was not disappointed. It was loaded with meat, sauce, cheese, cilantro, onion, and sour cream. Absolutely worth the $13, and I'd 100% order it again--next time with al pastor! We also tried the chicken enchilada plate ($13), which was just as good. Great flavor, the perfect amount of sauce and cheese, and it came with rice and beans on the side. For drinks, they've got a wide selection, including alcoholic options. I grabbed a Jarritos--just a heads up, they're $3.50 each, a bit pricey, but ice cold and refreshing. Overall, this place was a hit for us. The waitress, Erma, was friendly, polite, and attentive--which, let's be honest, isn't always easy to find. The restaurant is clean, has plenty of seating, and judging by the steady flow of customers, it's definitely no secret anymore! Give it a try and see for yourself--I'm pretty sure you'll love it too.
