Notes: 1) been here once 2) good seating 3) automatic gratuity (18%) Pros: 1) food was amazing and fish was fresh 2) service was great 3) ambiance was good and it was nice to sit in front of the chef Cons: 1) automatic gratuity on bill of a part of one Rating: 5/5 It was a great place to go get a late lunch/ early dinner at. The food/ fish were really fresh. The ambiance was amazing. The service was good. I had no complaints. The automatic gratuity of a one party person was a lot for me. I think I was going to tip well already but the automatic tip was a bit much for me. Overall: I would give this place a shot. It is worth it.

Amazing! Authentic japanese experience. They cook the food right infront of you. Food was very fresh and high quality We recommend gyu don and the kaison roll!

One of my favorite new date night spots. Really enjoyed their sashimi, the friendly staff and the sushi bar vibes. I might end up becoming a regular here lol. Check this place out!

Highly recommend for fresh fish and delicious Japanese food. They also have a mini market with sake and snacks.10 out of 10!

Best and most authentic Japanese donburi restaurant In Miami. And honestly the most understated fresh sushi you can have!

Decided to try this spot dude to the reviews on the fresh sushi. The fish itself is good but my rolls were put together poorly and no wasabi was included which is odd. Probably would be better off going for the nigiri but absolutely not happy with the rolls considering two rolls cost $30 only to fall apart. Service was good and if you want to sit down it would be more appropriate

Delicious, fresh fish right in the center of Brickell. Smaller restaurant but very cozy and nicely decorated with friendly, kind service as well. I ordered the salmon ikura don and the fish was outstanding. The nigiri and other bowls available also looked great and I can't wait to come back.

The quality can't be beat. Everything we ordered was outstanding. If you're looking for a place with all the sauces and toppings, this isn't it. This is quality fish and they let it shine. Wide assortment of Don bowls as well. We had the pork belly, the chicken thigh, and the eggplant and tofu. I've never had tofu that tasted so good! There's also a market to pick up some good items and all is clean, which is always appreciated. The service was also really sweet. We came on a rainy Monday afternoon and pretty much had the place to ourselves. If you're a tuna lover, you must try it!

Excellent place and I'm definitely going back, the only waitress was nice and I also tried the salmon shashimi

    Kaisen Don

I stopped in craving some sushi and had the Kaisen Don. It was delicious and the fish was so fresh! It is a bit on the pricey side but the quality makes it worthwhile. The sushi bar is cute to sit at and watch the sushi chef make your meal too!

Are here twice in 48 hours; what a charming wait staff and restaurant. The rolls and food is just spectacular, the fish is top tier and their miso soup is some of the best I've had outside of Asia. Service is excellent, the menu is really varied and the rolls were packed and not overly filled with rice which I appreciated. I had the Salmon Ikura Don the first night which was truly outstanding. Hubby tried the Golden Curry Don and neither of us left a grain of their perfectly cooked rice. The next night hubby had the Niku Udon, another friend we brought had the Gyu Don and I had the Yellowtail Scallion Roll and a Scallop Handroll. We shared edamame and both guys got beers Asahi is on draft. There are two three tops and a chefs counter that we saw (I think more tables on the other side), but a great space and amazing food.

We chose the Oma Deluxe because we wanted the entire experience. Francisco explained each sushi and what part of the fish we were eating. Each dish was brought out separately. There were about 9 pieces of different cuts of fish. They were delicious! My daughter had Sake and I had Non-alcoholic beer. Both went fine with our meal. Afterwards, we were served dessert. What a great experience! Give it a try when you can. Later, we went upstairs to ASTRA restaurant and bar to further enjoy our evening with beautiful views of Miami. Parking is mostly limited street parking though, so plan ahead. This spot is more about curated tastings, sashimi, nigiri, and handrolls rather than specialty rolls, so don't expect a huge roll menu. We ordered the sashimi assortment, white fish tasting, seared salmon, bluefin tuna tasting, unagi foie gras, and a few handrolls including blue crab and negi toro. Everything tasted super fresh and flavorful, especially the bluefin and unagi foie gras. Portions are on the lighter side though, so we left satisfied but not totally full. Cedrick was awesome and really made the experience better. He knew the menu inside and out and explained everything perfectly. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Wynwood and want quality sushi without the overly trendy vibe.

Most memorable were the clam broth, beef loin and carrots, and the fatty tuna nigiri with caviar on top. The fatty tuna nigiri with caviar was the main reason I wanted the tasting! You can access the mall area from the left of the hotel lobby. What impressed me most was the presentation of all the dishes. They really took great care to make everything look beautiful. All the plates and dishes were just so stunning. The other thing that really stood out was the service. They were so friendly and helpful. I truly appreciate when servers know their menu well and are able to make suggestions. I can't remember my server's name, but she was just top-notch. We ordered: - Miso soup, (served in a charming, Japanese chawan mushi cup) the flavor was really good and strong. (I hate it when it's weak) - Spicy dumplings. They tasted homemade. Yummy - Shrimp shu mai, good, tasted as it should - Tanaka roll, with extra crispies on top, (I was not a fan because I did not expect it to be deep-fried. if it had not been deep-fried, I would've liked it.) - Peking duck served in an impressive three tier tower that looks like a round Chinese Temple. - Pork Belly Bao bun, this was also a miss for me because I expected it to taste like barbecue, but it was just really salty like they used a lot of brown salty sauce. All in all, I really enjoyed this restaurant, even though I didn't like those two items. Bec But, because of the excellent service, the atmosphere and the beautiful way they served the food, I decided to leave them a five star review. Those dishes weren't bad they just weren't what I expected. We don't live in the area so if we were to stay in this hotel again, we would definitely dine here again. We started with a drink each, I got the purple moon cocktail which is sort of like a fruity and floral lychee-lavender-elderflower martini. The twice cooked pork was flavorful and not too greasy, the dry fried string beans were quite savory with a nice bite, and the Szechuan spicy chicken (some of you might recognize this dish's more common name of dry chili chicken or dry pepper chicken) was crispy savory and infused good but not overwhelming amount of heat. The portions for all of the entrees were pretty satisfying for the three of us and we left full.
