It has been such a gift for us to have this experience and to see and feel how everyone who was serving us was truly devoted to making us feel as if we were in Japan. The food was exceptional, the quality outstanding, the service wonderful, and we couldn't be more satisfied with this place -- a little piece of Japan here in Miami. Totally worth it 100% !!!

Kirin gave the world not just great beer, but Superdry beer, sushi begot omakase and now omakase has begot Super Omakase, the new trend in sushi, super high-end Kaiseki style cuisine with sushi. Quite ode with only one seating a night, and expensive, but an experience to behold. And one might even get a restaurant with exclusive access to a Wagyu only available in the US at this one restaurant. And seared with traditional smokeless Japanese charcoal. The chefs and employees are friendly and fun. A terrific experience and fantastic dishes and sushi. Again, very expensive but Ana great experience in a beautiful restaurant.

Ogawa is an amazingly unique and special experience. It starts the second you walk through the almost secret entrance to when you leave with waves from the entire staff. The service and hospitality is unparalleled and genuine. You feel the warmth and respect throughout the entire food experience. It's not a meal, it's a journey. The ambiance and design is beautifully detailed. Every bite is elevated and one of a kind. I'm looking forward to being a regular and enjoying more highballs and Burgundy wine in the garden!

The omakase at Ogawa took Miami to a new height. Each dish is superbly balanced and harmonized, exemplifying the chefs' skills. Fish are flown in from Japan daily. Not a single creation has been repeated since they opened their doors last October! My first course was Kegani; it was so good that I immediately requested a second serving. The Wagyu skewers cooked in 3 different flavors was another one of my favorite. The layered O-Toro simply melted in my mouth, as did the scallops. The Kuruma shrimp was definitely the highlight of the evening. Despite its large size, the meat remains sweet and tender; the shell tempura was flavorful and crispy. The uni, the caviar, the oat charcoal seared kinmedai, the skillfully crafted nigiri, the boldly flavored hand roll - everything was masterfully prepared, exceeding all expectations. My dinner ended with a sweet potato ice cream with adzuki bean. Refreshing to the last bite! Congratulations Chef Masa, Chef Royce and Chef Jamie! You have put together something extraordinary! We will be seeing you again soon!

Quite little Seafood Restaurant in a small Strip Mall has a kinda unique feature that you don't see too often in South Florida but is common in my "Neck Of The Woods", there's a Fresh Seafood Market attached. The menu is not large but it has some pretty good items. Some are standard South Florida menu items Calamari, Conch Salad, Fritter, Scampi are among the offerings but there are a few standouts like: Blackened Fish, Shrimp Creole, Buffalo Shrimp, Caribbean Fish Soup, Shrimp And Grits, Po Boys and a few other sandwiches and pastas round out the menu. But the star of the show are the Fresh Shucked Oysters. From Virginia and only a $1.25 during Happy Hour, these oysters are delicious and have a different taste than their primos from the Gulf Of Mexico that I grew up on.....delicious nonetheless. The great staff makes dining here a much better experience. You're warmly welcomed and presented with a little bite of Krab Salad as soon as you sit. Happy Hour starts at 4PM and ends at 7PM. Do not miss the opportunity to indulge, it's a nice gateway to the great dinner you'll enjoy.

When he went in he advised the lady, please make sure there is seafood In there, especially if you are charging $20 for Jute leaves and crabmeat. He went to the bathroom as he waited for his order, as he was coming out she was talking to another gentleman calling him cheap (he didn't want to say anything to prevent trouble). How do you run a business allowing your staff to talk bad about a customer that is disrespectful and unprofessional. He gets home open up his food and finds chicken meat. So he calls the lady up and is like I specifically ask you to make sure there was crabmeat and extra if you can. And she goes I didn't have any so I put chicken meat. He then advised her if he told her he didn't want to order chicken so he order LaLo to get a different meat besides chicken. He advised her why would I want a different meat besides what was cook in my food. The sad part was it wasn't even a whole chicken, it was a crumble piece of chicken (that was just tossed in there) and half the top shell of the crabmeat (just a shell). She then said I didn't have anymore crabmeat and he said you should have advised me so I'm not paying $20 for jute leaves and a crumble chicken meat. He went to the restaurant to get a refund owner refused refund and the owner and staff was disrespectful. If you run your business in scamming people on false advertisement Of your food to gain profit, that's not running a business that's just theft.

Interior: As soon as I walked in I was shocked how small this place is. This is a take out restaurant only. The location in Atlanta is much bigger and have dine in tables and a full bar. Much nicer than this one. The Opa Locka location only have a few chairs to sit down to wait for your order. As you walk in you immediately see the order counter. They have their menus on the wall and to go menus on the counter. Nothing special inside. Food: I ordered the shrimp platter that came parsley potatoes and garlic corn. And 6pc lemon pepper wing and fries. The shrimp platter was okay. The wings were ridiculously small. It was $11 for tiny baby wings. They really shouldn't sell no one wings that tiny. I was definitely disappointed when I opened my box. It tasted more like salt & pepper wings rather than lemon pepper. I tasted a bunch of salt. The fries were a bit salty too. Location: Its located in a plaza. Right next door to a Spanish bakery and a banquet hall. The parking is decent but depending on how busy the plaza is you may not get front door parking of course. Customer service: I was greeted immediately when I walked in. It was two people working in the front, a girl and guy, they both was nice. After I ordered, the girl told me it will be about 15-20mins for my food. Which I kinda expected a bit of a wait. Despite the horribleness of the food, the customer service is what made me give this place a 3 star.
