Quick ordering and pickup service. Tried the new premium citrus drink -- it's refreshing and light for the summer. They also had lots of soccer themed merch available for purchase

MOLLY TEA WHAT HAPPENED!! I love Molly's Jasmine milk tea with and without matcha. But the one time I wanted tapioca it was slimy and mushy. The space is a pretty pink which wins my heart. I normally order online through the QR code but that's also no longer available. :(

Always having extremely long line in LA, the less-busy Chicago outlet certainly intrigued me to grab a cup. It's not like it's quiet, just way more manageable waiting time for sure. Super close to the gate of Chicago's Chinatown, the cute vibrant venue was such attention stealer. Self-order at the kiosk, ample amount of seats, and quick serving time! Trying out their Dancong Oolong Milk Tea and I could certainly tell this suited me better compared to their Premium Jasmine MT given the bolder tea flavor. Amidst sunny Chicago, I got my cup finished in a blink.

A bit intimidating with the crowd, but relatively easy ordering via kiosk (or online if that is your jam). About a 15 minute wait early afternoon on Saturday. I got a white campacha matcha--I don't know what campacha is but the yea flavor was legit and so good. Check this place out!

I just want to say omg this is literally the best milk tea I've ever had. People were not hyping it up on social media for no reason. It truly is very aromatic tea and tastes amazing. It's always packed, but they get the drinks ready quickly.

This is my favorite milk tea place in Chicago because their drinks has the perfect balance of milk and tea. I recommend the pistachio drink because it's so unique and delicious. The space is very cute with the pink colors. On weekends, they even have free samples outside the store front. The service can get slow though during weekends. I have waited 40 minutes for drinks before, so please be mindful of that.

I love a tea forward milk tea place and first had Molly Tea in NYC. It was so good then and I'm pleased to say my last visit to this Chicago Molly Tea location was also as delicious. I like that they have Molly Tea merch lol even though I am not into it enough to buy it. Definitely a yummy milk tea chain and even when it's busy, the drinks come fast.

Wasn't a huge fan of Molly Tea, especially for how long the wait was. Took over 25 minutes for our drinks. Nothing special, & workers weren't very friendly. Did not think it was worth the hype!

Not sure why it took me so long to check out Molly Tea. The moment I stepped in, I felt like I stepped into mainland China. The order dashboard, the takeout bags, the efficiency, the consistency of mask wearing reminds me of the coffee/tea chains in mainland. Wow, I'm just so surprised to see it here. The shop is small but still had a lot of people. What's crazy was that the queue is so long from online orders. The efficiency is just like China tho, the queue moved quickly. The options and customization is so detailed. Honestly had no idea what I would start with, but the "popular" tags sort of helped me decide. I got a premium Jasmine milk tea hot with lowest sugar, tongmu lapsang salted cheese milk tea hot with lowest sugar, and pistachio jasmine coconut iced with lowest sugar. All of which had really good and strong tea flavor. The jasmine was the most noticeable, a bit more than I'm used to but really good. All of the drinks were good but not as creamy or thick or heavy as other places-- this is probably both a pro and con depending on how you like it. I didn't like the salted cap, not sure why it's green and tasted like matcha, shouldn't it be for the tongmu lapsang? Perhaps I should order it inside and have them put the cap in the drink. Overall, really happy with the flavors. I would definitely try out some of their other ones in the future. So glad to this Shenzhen chain having a location in Chicago.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Got the white champoca matcha. The straw is a game-changer. My taste buds are living their best life. The matcha is just right, and the champoca green tea is so refreshing. Went with 50% sugar and it was still spot on!

To say it's crowded is an understatement, it is packed!! You can either order at the kiosk or with a staff member (some items can't be ordered on the kiosk, so keep that in mind). The line/order moves pretty quickly, considering how busy it was. As for the drinks, the tea flavor is strong, and the creaminess isn't overpowering like many cheaper stores, you can really taste the milk tea. Personally, I like it slightly sweeter, so next time I'll add a little more sweetness. It's definitely not cheap, but considering the quality, I'd say it's worth it. They also have fun straws with small holes, claiming it helps you taste the tea more, not sure if it really does lol, but it's a cute addition.

I enjoy the milk tea here, and just realized they have an oat milk option, so I won't have to limit my intake any longer lol - I've tried the apple, jasmine, and the osmanthus milk teas in San Mateo - by far my favorite is the Jasmine, and the flavor is consistent between the locations - and I like pearls thrown in though it does change the flavor of the milk tea a bit. I just love the added texture though lol. Definitely enjoyed the milk tea even though it wasn't a "new" experience, it was consistent with San Mateo, and for that we were grateful! My son is at Purdue, and he likes to get a taste of San Mateo here when he isn't home.

They have plushies sitting on the couch in the waiting area and a little floral Instagram wall that's clearly meant for photos. We also very much appreciated that they have a bathroom, which isn't always guaranteed in Chinatown spots. I got the large Fruity Party drink and loved it. It had slices of citrus floating in it plus a rainbow of fruit jellies at the bottom. It was both super refreshing and really pretty. I'd absolutely order it again. My sister got the medium kumquat lemon seasons tea. It was super strong and concentrated, which is just the way I like my tea. I learned that I liked kumquat kumquat so that's a fun bonus. We'll definitely be back next time we are in Chinatown.

DaBoba? More like DaCustard!…read more Wanting a little sweet treat, I stopped into Daboba for a Roasted Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea. I initially attempted to order at the kiosk, only to discover doing so comes with a 3% fee vs. ordering with a human. It's not about the nickels, it's the principle of the thing! I instead placed my order with the clerk - less ice, less sweet. Though it wasn't very busy at the time, the drink came out relatively fast. The service overall was friendly, too! Now, about this beverage... if I'd asked for a "surprise me," I'd be happier. This is because on its own, it was respectable and unique in its custard-like consistency. However, given that I'd ordered a milk tea, where neither the appropriate consistency nor tea notes made an appearance, my happiness and satisfaction levels go down. To give some credit, the beverage I received wasn't too sweet, and had a slight velvety mouthfeel. It was unique and interesting, unlike anything I had ever had before. Final verdict: there is no shortage of boba tea shops around, especially in Chinatown. If you're going to do something different, power to you. However, don't say you sell one thing, and sell another.

There aren't many seats available so it feels like a semi boba shop as well. To sum it up, I would say it is ~70 to 80% authentic, which is not bad in my opinion. Braised Pork Over Rice 招牌滷肉飯: The presentation was beautiful and the flavor was actually pretty good. In Taiwan, this dish is usually more on the sweeter side, due to the sugar and shallots added. Here, it is more peppery and savory, and the flavor was actually really good. The beans and the mustard greens were very delicious as well. Even though the flavor profile is slightly different, this was well made and something I would come back for. Noodles with black pepper sauce 胡椒鐵板麵: traditionally this dish is called蘑菇鐵板麵, which uses mushrooms, black pepper and other sauces as a base. The flavor was good, but I wish that there were more mushroom and sauce to balance the black pepper. In my opinion, this dish tasted very different from what I used to eat, but it is not bad on its own. 2/4 Fried pork chops: the meat was fried very well, and it was pretty peppery and crispy. However, I think there are different spices and flavor missing, including white pepper, msg, garlic, Thai basil, cayenne pepper, and more. I wished that the savoriness and spiciness popped up more, and I thought the spice blend and the marinade could definitely use some improvement. 3/4 Beef noodle soup 牛肉麵: I thought the bone broth was pretty good, but I believe the flavor profile should be wider, like tomatoes, five spice, 豆瓣醬, soy sauce, and more. It was a stripped down version, and I wished that is reflected in the name of the item (renaming it "clear soup" etc). Also, the amount of meat they gave us was a little bit pitiful (there were like four pieces), and there were two pieces of bok choy. When Taiwanese people eat beef noodle soup, we definitely expect more. 2/4 Additionally, I wish the drinks were made with some fresh ingredients (not just syrup or creamer), as standard/good quality boba shops from Taiwan try to make drinks as fresh as possible. That is high ask, but I just wanted to note that as a suggestion for improvement. Overall, I thought the food was pretty decent. Would I say it is the most representative Taiwanese restaurant in Chicago? No. The staff was actually Chinese loll. But I do think it reminds me of some flavors and food I grew up eating in Taiwan. If you like popcorn chicken and pork, it is likely a good place for you.

Solid, tasty taiwanese food!…read more We enjoyed a mix of dishes (chicken bento box for me, beef noodle soup for my boyfriend, as well as fries with Thai seasoning and a boba tea for me). The green beans came as a side with my bento box and were amazing. The ordering system is a little clunky and annoying but we got through it. Vibes in the space are fine, it's an efficient little cafe The biggest thing is that there's really an opportunity for more sauces! For the fries, for the popcorn chicken, for example, a sauce would make a big difference to dip it in. I like this place and expect to be back
