Pink paradise! Cute boba shop in the heart of Chinatown. I liked that they use REAL FRUIT in their drinks and not syrups. Since I was visiting I also got the cute bunny ears topper that had a little extra Jebbit that said Chicago on there. Perfect fun little souvenir for my trip. My drink was over $12 but that's because I got the surprise plushie in my cup as well as the bunny ears. #yolo It was still worth it! :) read more

Ume Tea - Cute bunny ears add on was $2.99 - Bubble Tea Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Been to Ume tea many times now, and I love the classic oat burst yogurt, but trying a few more things as well and nothing has disappointed so far. Got the popcorn chicken for the first time and it's pretty good. I quote enjoyed the Taro as well. Though everything is still pretty sweet at 30 or 15% sugar so I can't imagine what full sweetness is. My friend says she thought another location's yogurt was better but I couldn't tell the difference tbh. Service is pretty fast, and the decor is similar to other locations, lots of cute pink displays and whatnot. The entrance is one of those heavy Chicago air locks which might be hard to open if you're carrying a lot of stuff, but I'm sure it's useful in the winter. read more

Such a cute spot to grab a fruit tea or milk tea! I came here with a homegirl just to try it. We had never been in but the pink decor drew us in. We such many people enjoying what they ordered. Even though it's a self service system, we were greeted with kindness upon entering. I ordered a fruit tea and a side of popcorn chicken. We specifically ordered the cup that came with a surprise stuff toy! It was so cute. I recommend coming here and just exploring the menu. I've been wanting to come here for their surprise plushy cup because I'm a sucker for those. I love the inside - it's decorated so beautifully. The drinks are okay but a bit pricey for quality. Nonetheless it was a fun way to get a surprise blind cup and a drink all in one. The cashier gave us good coupons for our next visit which is always appreciated. read more

Came here on Chinese new year which was on a Tuesday. Showed up right after an early lunch right around noon. We were lucky that this was located in that Chinatown mall because we got parking and we're able to walk directly up here. When I got here, there was no line there was one other patron waiting for her order. There are a couple screens where you put your order in and then they text you because they ask you for your phone number once your order is ready then you pick it up right on the left-hand side of where they're actually is a register. The one girl who was working here that day was very nice and friendly, but I don't think she totally understood me as I was trying to explain the benefits of leaving tip in cash versus tip on the card at the kiosk where you put your order in. We did order two drinks and both drinks are absolutely delicious. However the Taro milk Boba tea was a little bit chewy. You could obviously customize your toppings, the sugar amount, the iced amount, etc. that sounds pretty standard. The flavors were delicious and super fresh so frankly, if this came out of a can or out of powder, it definitely didn't taste like it. Really top quality and great taste for the price. I believe each drink was $6.25 which puts it right at par with a lot of its competitors in Chinatown. Also, if you order some of the unique drinks that come in a unique square cup, believe it or not. The location is completely decked out in their pink. It's very cute and I assume was really put together for the purpose of social media pictures as you can see from the pictures I took. I would definitely come back here again as it is unique however, a lot of the menu is pretty similar across the Boba competitors located in this exact same mall as well. read more

TICKLED PINK If a magic pink elephant simultaneously vomited and had diarrhea then this would be the result. This place seems like it was the result of an interior design job by HELLO Kitty. Pink eye has a whole other meaning in this place. Ok, I'll stop trying to PINK a fight with this business. I will give them credit, because you would be tickled pink over the mini version of Chicago's iconic BEAN sculpture. It is a cool prop for photo ops and just adds a cute and memorable element to the decor. I'll admit, I couldn't resist taking a Pic of the mini landmark, myself. As for the drink, I got the MATCHA TEA LATTE and it was topped wth matcha ice cream. It was mild with matcha flavor and was perfectly creamy and sweet. They had me at ice cream, but the bonus was the ice cream served a functional perk as it helped keep the drink sweet as the ice melted and diluted the drink. The variety of drinks was impressive and anyone is sure find a drink to their liking here. They only had oat milk as the dairy alternative. It would be nice if they also had almond or soy milk, but because of allergies they may be trying to keep safe from cross contamination You can order at the kiosk or with the cashier which is efficient for keeping the queue flowing. It looks like a pink color bomb went off in here, but at least the tea was also exploding with flavor read more

I've been wanting to come here forever and finally cane with my friend. The space is super small but really cute with lots of pink everywhere and some fun Chicago decor too. They have so many drink options, but I went with the matcha strawberry with boba and green tea ice cream. 10/10. So good. Sweet, creamy, and just the right amount of matcha flavor. It's always packed no matter what time you go, and you can tell the staff in the back are hustling nonstop. They work hard!!! Will definitely be back to try more drinks. read more

I met up with an old friend and while strolling through China Town we stumbled across the cutest boba tea shop! It was super pink and girly and had the absolute cutest decor. I ordered a watermelon lychee refresher with strawberry boba and my God, did I finish that 24 oz bad boy in 2 gulps! I know boba shops come a dime a dozen but I promise they aren't all as cute as this one. It's definitely worth a visit if not just for the decor! read more

Service: Slow, indifferent, and unfriendly Taste: Average Ambiance: It's nice if you like pink, kindergarten vibes, or a cheap interpretation of Hello Kitty decor. I wouldn't mind the pinktopia vibe or even the slow and unfriendly service if you had a quality product, but your product was average at best. So, no, this place was a waste of calories and an eye-sore. read more

Cute! Love the pink interior and baby bean in the side of the room. We went on a Sunday and it took a little longer than I expected to get my drink but when I did it was fantastic. Came in on a busy weekend to grab a tea to sip on while walking around China town. The inside is smaller, but decorated so nicely in different shades of pink and a variety of textures. It's pretty easy to find the menu and order on a tablet. You do have the option to order through a person behind the counter too, though. I went with a standard brown sugar black milk tea and only 30% sugar. I like that you can customize the level of ice and sweetness. My drink was ready within 2-3 minutes, despite how busy they were. It was exactly as I ordered and perfect to quench my thirst during afternoon explorations. read more

This is one of my daughter's favorite specialty drink shop ever! I'm sure it's because of the stuffy surprise cups. In any case, inside is decorated so cute and Chicago themed, so great for tourists. The drinks itself they have a really nice variety and you get a pretty large sized drinks for around $8. I wanted to give a special shout out because the young lady at the register was super friendly and honored my coupon (which was from their original grand opening). Compared to when they first started from the grand opening, it looks like they've become a lot more efficient too. They are fast at preparing the drinks and they also have a couple of online kiosks and QR code, and they show your placement of the order on a monitor above pickup. So great job evolving and providing great customer service. Oh yeah, the drinks were yummy too! Had a thai tea and the lychee drinks. read more

I was so excited when my friend told me this spot had the surprise toys in the cups. Is a little toy worth an extra $4.50 to the drink, I'd let you be the judge of that, but I did what I did. For the drink I decided to try their taro milk with pudding. It was a tad too sweet for my liking but I still downed it all pretty easily. I liked that the taro flavor was very prominent and not in a super artificial way. In case anyone was wondering, the toy I unboxed was a pink rabbit keychain with glittery stars all over it. Service was quick. There are only a few tables inside so definitely more of a pickup and go kind of spot read more

I love the self service kiosks and the variety of options that they have on the menu. I don't think I have ever gotten the same thing twice because there is always something new to try or flavor combo that I am interested in. The workers there are friendly and helpful, even let my friend charge their phone when it died while we sat and enjoyed our drinks. If you want finger foods to go along with your drinks, they do serve excellent finger foods to enjoy while you're there as well. It's colorful, it's welcoming, I have been there multiple times and will continue to support this business. read more

Popped in after exploring Ping Tom park with my kiddo. We were so happy with our choice. Of course the pink was a hit. The mini bean (how cute!!!) I ordered a grapefruit tea and it was probably one of the best teas I've ever had. I ordered it with 30% sugar I think and I could have done less but I wasn't sure what to expect. It was so refreshing. My kiddo ordered some Oreo brûlée I think. I ordered hers with 30% also. She loved her drink and I'm glad bc I didn't like it. It was too thick for me. She's has asked me 3 times since we visited. I noticed there's some other locations so will may pay one of the others a visit. read more

Very cute boba shop with so many places to take pics if that's your thing. I saw this place on TikTok earlier this week, so when I spotted it today, I had to stop in and see if it lived up to the media hype. Place your order in the kiosk and wait for your drinks. It was very busy day but my order still only took about 10 min. There are only about 4-5 tables, so grab one quick. I got a Passion Fruit and Watermelon Green Tea and really liked it. It wasn't overly sweet which I prefer. But 24oz is huge for me. I could only finish about half since I still had lunch to eat. Our drinks were about $10 each. For some up-charges you can get specialty cups and/or plushies. I only wanted my drink, but it's a really cute idea. read more

The cutest boba shop ever! Literally everything is pink! Very cute for pictures. Their menu is pretty big so there was plenty to choose from. We paid an extra $4-5 to get the surprise plushy which I thought was cute - especially for kids. read more

Pretty alright place - the inside is a bit much for me (super bright lights, lots of empty space that was not being used, etc.), so the actual ambiance was meh. It was also on sale when I went their, so only $4.79 for a large is an unbeatable price point.
