My first time trying mollytea and it was okay. The bar for boba is so high in 626 because of the abundance of boba shops. The interior of mollytea was giving luxury and I really liked all the seating and decor. The tea aroma when entering store was amazing and super fragrant. I got the Jasmine Mango Smoothie with boba and would give it a 3/5. It was yummy but very average. I liked the pomelo pieces in the drink. There was real mango bits as well but they weren't as sweet. Probably because mangos are not in season. Overall it was good!
Unique flavor combos and star quality! Molly Tea was a great spot for some after dinner dessert, but be prepared, you will most likely have to wait awhile. I've waited up to 30 minutes from the times I have been. I'd recommend ordering online before you go to the shop. I loved their Apple Milk Tea, its pink and perfectly refreshing but its no longer on the menu since it was a seasonal drink.
Very small parking lot but luckily we secured parking. There was so much people there even at a late hour. The drinks were honestly ok. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't the greatest drink I've drank. I feel like it's a bit overhyped but I'm glad I came to try it. I do wish they had regular boba and not just the crystal boba. It was worth a try but it's not my type of boba spot given the limited menu. Staff are good, works super fast paced given they're so popular. Kiosk is easy to order on.
Finally got to try molly tea after seeing it pop up on my feed so many times and their jasmine DID NOT DISAPPOINT I got snowy jasmine and velvety matcha supreme, the jasmine tea flavor is packed with floral flavor but the tea still comes through. Velvety matcha is smooth and sweetness is just right, although the matcha foam and latte itself did not have as strong of matcha flavor, it was still enjoyable! It is ordered with self order kiosk but the drinks comes out a bit slow, I waited about 10 minutes for my drink :,) The inside has plenty seating and its nicely decorated Parking is plenty and theres other places to shop around and eat!
I want to first and foremost give a shout-out to Boyang for having excellent customer service! Now in regard to drinks, I think Molly Tea's jasmine milk tea is absolutely stellar. The jasmine flavor is so tasty and not artificial at all. The milk balances so perfectly with it. This is one of the few milk teas that I can drink unsweetened and still thoroughly enjoy. The reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that every other drink I have tried that is not the jasmine milk tea has been disappointing. The premium grape jasmine milk tea was awful in my opinion. The grape flavor tasted so artificial, like a grape flavored laffy taffy. The salted cheese Thai tea (when mixed) was pale orange and it lacked a strong tea flavor, although it was still tasty. I need my Thai tea to have a vibrant orange color, and I didn't get that here.
One of the newer Molly Tea locations to pop up in the SGV, and this spot seems pretty busy all the time. Swung by after dinner and ordered the Gardenia Milk Tea with boba. I'll say the Gardenia Milk Tea itself was quite good. The tea flavor was very noticeable and you can actually taste the gardenia, which I liked. But the boba was super soft and mushy, which was a huge letdown, especially for a boba spot. They're also giving out zodiac pins right now, and you can get one during your birthday month, which I thought was pretty cool. I have to say I do like the tea at Molly Tea, but the boba was so bad I couldn't even sleep that night lol. I'd come back for the tea, but the boba was whack.
Just came by for a quick drink after dinner. It was a bit crowded but not too crowded, there wasn't a line and we ordered via the kiosk. I think since it's still new they had a spin the wheel for a prize per order. We took a turn and got a coupon for %80 off one drink. After ordering, you get a number and there's some seating like a couch and a few tables and chairs and they will call out your number. I got the supreme matcha drink, it was set to recommended 50% sweetness and tasted pretty good (had to mix it completely to ensure the milk and matcha are mixed). I really liked the thickness and creaminess but it had a strong aromatic tea flavor that I think many will like, but not my favorite. The ease of ordering and getting the drink is probably what makes the place 5 stars, the price of drinks just keeps reaching $7-8, so a treat here and there for now!
This was my first time trying Molly Tea, and I had a really great experience! I ordered the Snowy Jasmine, and it was so delicious. The drink was refreshing and had a really nice balance of flavors. The creamy topping paired perfectly with the jasmine tea and made every sip enjoyable. lI'll definitely be coming back to explore more of their menu because this first visit was a great one. Luckily the line wasn't long therefore why I stopped by. I have seen how long the line can get which was why I didn't ever go. Great place. Very pretty inside and just the vibe is cute. Coming back for sure!!
I came back to try their velvety matcha champoca milk tea. They had a special going on, so I got a free scent satchet and magnet with it. Then I also got to spin the wheel, winning a coupon. I ordered through the app so it was easy to pick up. The wait time was only 10 min. Staff was friendly at the counter. The matcha was very strong but I could also taste the tea. It was a good balance at 30%sugar and ice.
Came with friends after dinner to grab some boba. They have plenty of seating inside and the interior is nicely decorated. We ordered on the Hungry Panda app since there was a discount. The pickup was super easy since they have screens that show your order number. They put my drink in a cute bag and looked very cool. I ordered the Premium Jasmine Matcha, less ice and 30% sugar. The jasmine tea taste is nice and strong with the subtle taste of the matcha foam. The jasmine is nice and floral, not bitter at all even with 30% sugar. My friends got the White Champaca Milk Tea, Osmanthus Milk Tea, and Tongmu Lapsang Salted Cheese Milk Tea. And they liked their drinks. They have a lot of good tea and milk tea options here and great quality. Will come back again!
Deer owners of Molly t I have written over several hundred reviews and they are honest reviews based pm service food and unbiased first hand customer experience . Here it is. Employees are the face of a business any business and your was a disappointment to me and my family. Here is the short story we were lining up for the kiosk and found that some item on menu was not on the kiosk we spent a long time then we asked an employee who was busy helping another customer manually enter their order on her screen we waited patiently until she was done with the process then we went to speak with her and we mentioned to her we wanted to order this item but it was not on the kiosk menu she then told me oh we are sold out and then we said okay can we order this other item and then she said please use the kiosk. We said can you take our order she said no you can use the kiosk and pointed . She just literally helped someone else but not us ??? What would you do owners of Molly Tea if you walked to a store and experienced this ?? Would you want to spend your hard earned money and spend $8.00 on a drink to be treated and after being treated this way ??? I rest my case. On another note. We went to in and out and they had a different tone and consistent tone among ALL their employees. Smile acknowledge courteous friendly staffs from order taker to order received . Why can't you model after this type of customer service??? Bottom line Treat the customer how YOU want to be treated. PS. My daughter and many our friends have been there and enjoyed your pricey drinks . But we will surely share our UNFORTUNATE experience with them all !
Wow the tea is my new addiction. The teas are all smooth and fragrant tasting and I did not need to make any adjustments. It comes out perfect. I had their osmanthus milk tea and their champacca plant oolong milk tea and it is very light, not too sweet, and pleasant tasting! Their matcha milk is good too. The coconut jasmine premium is usually sold out. All their drinks taste and smell like floral or Jasmine. I am a sucker for their cute bags, sparkly cup container and straws! I tried their sago and boba and its mushy. I am just here for the tea. Their Premium Jasmine tea tastes like 85c mountain green tea, except it is stronger here.
Love the grape jasmine tea! This location is so much easier to access than the other location and the drinks come out so fast. 10/10 coming back.
Came grand opening weekend to take advantage of the bogo free. Total line and drink wait time was 30 minutes, went by really fast considering the amount of customers. + Premium Jasmine Milk Tea ($6.99; half sweet): nice fragrant jasmine flavor, perfect sweetness, any less wouldn't have been good (8.2/10) + Peach Tieguanyin Oolong Milk Tea ($6.59): super fruity and peach forward, good tea flavor too I wouldn't have known there was milk in this (7.8/10) Loved the little freebies. Only con is how pricy the drinks are, especially if we had added toppings. read more
Came here for the grand opening and took advantage of the BOGO deal to try multiple drinks. The free drink was limited to be their floral drinks. The drinks were ordered with 30% sugar and think it's just right. Ordered the snowy Jasmine, matcha jasmine salted cheese, dancong oolong tea, white champaca milk tea, and pistachio jasmine coconut (ordered 70%). The snowy jasmine was the best with the buttery toffee pecans, light whipped cream and had a strong floral tea flavor. They had multiple people working so the drinks were ready fairly fast and the line moved quickly when I went in the late afternoon. read more

WAU I'm so glad a Molly Tea opened closer to me :') My go-to spot was the one in San Gabriel. Between the two locations, I prefer this one more. I noticed the drinks are a lot less watered down & even the parking situation is a lot better than the SG location. I came on a Thursday around lunch time and it wasn't too packed to my surprise. My order is ALWAYS the Jasmine milk tea. I love Molly Tea so much because my Jasmine is always so floral and fragrant. I'll be back soon! :) read more

Popped up to the soft opening today with my wife, extremely excited that this location is a lot closer to my home as opposite to their San Gabriel location. Of note, because we were there for their soft opening, they had a special combo that came with a magnetic pin and jasmine tea sachets! The premium jasmine milk tea was still the perfect balance of sweet and milky without being too strong either direction. I personally prefer it to other milk teas I've tried from differing brands. I also enjoyed how much more spacious the location is especially with parking. Will definitely be back, I am cautiously optimistic that their wait won't be as bad with the use of virtual ordering from their app. I will say that because they are still working out their early kinks that we may have just gotten lucky since we were one of the first patrons. read more

It's actually open now. Checked it out today. They are giving jasmine milk tea and apple tea samples outside and tea sachet if you leave a review on Google or Yelp This is the ultimate tea experience. I've been to the one in SG many times and so glad this is within walking distance from the Santa Anita Mall. Very nice friendly staff who speaks English well yay read more
Came on their grand opening today and it's a lot more organized than when the San Gabriel one opened. The drinks are just as good as their other locations. I will say their white champaca and jasmine ones taste a lot more similar than what I remember with the Jasmine having more of a floral after taste. Popular and lively boba spot with decently sized parking lot. Upon entering everyone is buzzing around. The inside is cute but the lights can be a bit intense but that's okay. Staff were friendly and drinks were amazing. I got the matcha jasmine salted cheese. Very floral and I wish the salted cheese flavor was slightly stronger. And I probably would have gotten a little sweetener to complement the cheese flavor. My friend got the pistachio white champaca, which was amazing. And my friend's dad got the jasmine mango smoothie. Which I heard was good but did not try. Would return to try something else. read more
I'm so glad Molly Tea is opening in Arcadia! Driving all the way to the San Gabriel location was starting to get too much. My favorite drinks are their snowy jasmine milk tea and their white champaca milk tea. The interior is cute and modern and there's a good amount of tables and seating. Service is very friendly and professional although can be a bit slow during grand opening. There's one gender neutral restroom. They're located in the JJ Bakery plaza, so parking there is free but not ample depending on the time/day. read more
Absolutely love their matcha jasmine salted cheese! If you think their regular jasmine milk tea is lacking sugar, you should definitely try the matcha jasmine salted cheese instead! I think there's a perfect amount of sweetness in this drink and it's very floral with hints of matcha and saltiness from the salted cheese cold foam. read more

1st time trying their tea in Arcadia after seeing a long line at the front. Plenty of parking but all the spaces were taken by the customers who were here at this place (I'm pretty sure) during the time I was here on a weekend. The staff were working hard to meet the demands of their customers and making the drinks as fast as they could possibly make. I tried their Pistachio white champaca coconut. Champaca is a type of highly fragrant flowering tree from Southeast Asia regions. It has a scent similar to jasmine flowers. This was my first time trying this type of drink and it did not disappoint. Just like the flower Champaca, this drink has a nice floral scent that is surprisingly pleasant to drink. I am so glad I picked this drink. I tasted the nutty tea flavor with sweet coconut water at the bottom of the drink. Pistachio cheese was a nice touch on the top of this drink and it also enhanced the flavor of the tea creating a balance between sweetness, bitterness from tea, and creaminess from cheese. Coconut water added a light refreshment to this drink. From now on, I am adding coconut water to all the tea drinks for a refreshing taste. This drink had a lovely floral aroma with surprisingly refreshing flavors. Every sip of this drink was enjoyable. Really impressed by this drink from here. And now I know why there was a long line. I will be back to try other signature drinks to surprise me with. The interior of this place is elegant and furnished with modern tables and chairs. Clean, comfortable, and elegant. Nice to sit down, hang out, and drink their teas inside when it is not busy. Came on a Saturday afternoon and it was definitely packed, with the line going out the door. Thankfully, the wait wasn't too bad. Ordering is through a self-service kiosk, and despite the crowd, our drinks came out super fast. We got the Jasmine Apple Milk Tea and the Pistachio Jasmine Coconut, both at 0% sweetness. Both drinks were really refreshing, and I liked that the tea flavors still came through strongly. I do wish the pistachio flavor was a bit stronger, though. There's plenty of seating and parking available, which made the busy atmosphere more manageable. Overall, definitely a spot I'd come back to if I'm in the area again. read more

The trick to ordering Molly Tea and avoid waiting as to order way ahead of time online. I am absolutely addicted to the premium jasmine Matcha tea, I don't know about you, but I always shake the drink before popping it open with a straw. I have ordered online a few times here and never had to wait a while outside of the communicated expected wait time. The line can be pretty long, opening day, there was a line of wrapped around the building. Thankfully, parking in this area is fair, but also expected to be packed if there is a special promotion going on. There is plenty of seating inside, if you want to chill, which the ambience can be quite loud and you will have people waiting and standing around you. I love that there are a photo opportunities to show off that pink cup, or the flower logo. Definitely an iconic place to place Molly Tea. read more

First time visiting this chain tea shop from China. Nice, elegant, simple decor with indoor seating. You order at a kiosk. Our favorite was the premium jasmine tea with boba and premium jasmine milk tea. It had a pleasant floral taste and it's not too sweet. The peach oolong milk tea and premium jasmine apple milk tea was only ok. I felt the fruit flavor and the tea were too faint and not enough flavor for me. Very good drinks! Line wasn't too bad but depends on time and day. You can order online to make it faster. Parking is not bad, but the space inside is on the smaller side for the amount of people here. Don't plan on staying to get a table to sit and chat. Jasmine tea was perfect. Super happy that Molly Tea is opened in Arcadia now! I've been here on grand opening week multiple times and tea is on par to San Gabriel and the ones I've been to in Guangzhou China. I feel like maybe less people go to this one as it's less known that they are open here compared to the San Gabriel location. I'd definitely will be going to this one more since I won't have to wait over an hour for my drink and it's way closer to me now! read more

Molly tea in Arcadia is significantly less crowded! Which is a huge relief because I can get my fix without waiting for too long. I always get the peach oolong milk tea at 50% sugar, but my husbands go to is the jasmine MT. I have yet to have a drink I don't like here yet. The flavor of the tea comes through despite the milk base and is delicious! The workers here are quick and polite and the interior is open and clean. read more
