Mojo Spa is a feel good place. It is sad to see they have not reopened their nail services due to the pandemic. They have so many natural products, it can be overwhelming, but their staff are always there to assist . If you are in need of a unique gift their Chicago line or Soy Massage Candle in a Martini Glass is a perfect option. The candle is body cream!! Stop in and support this local business.

I am so excited rave about Mojo Spa, Amanda, and George! Their creativity and kindness shine through in every product. I had the most amazing experience designing custom candles that turn into lotion to gift to Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper from Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre. Highly recommend, Mojo Spa is a hidden gem in the city!

Honestly one of the best manicure experiences I've had in the city! I had a no-chip with Queen and it was awesome! Scheduling was easy, the owner was the one that I spoke with on the phone and he was super sweet and helpful when I wasn't sure which service I wanted, explaining the time it typically takes and what the differences are. Note that they charge a cancellation fee for no-shows and will ask for your card info when making an appointment! The no-chip itself was lovely, Queen took into account my current nail stage and recommended the best shape/length which I greatly appreciated! She has over 22 years of nail tech experience so it was nice to hear her suggestions! She was super helpful and attentive, it was an awesome experience having her as my nail tech! They have a great selection of colors and have all the big brands. Overall would definitely recommend checking Mojo Salon out, and esp Queen!

I got some shopping done around the area and wanted to stop in here because it's so cute from the outside! I was really just looking for bath bubbles, but ended up leaving here with $100 worth of stuff lol. The salespeople actually got me, which rarely happened to me. Regardless-- what sold me was how knowledgeable everyone was and how helpful they were. George, the owner, was super friendly and helpful! I wish I came in during Small Business Saturday to support, but I'm glad I was able to purchase a few items this evening. The two sales women gave me a lot of great tips for products for eczema along with getting started with a skin routine. Not to be vain, but I've never had a problem with my skin and I've been blessed to never have to worry about it. I did agree that I should be concerned with preventative care, and everything from the Go Green line felt amazing on my skin and smelled so good! I'm really eager to have an event here or perhaps get my nails done here. Customer service was amazing and I'll definitely be back here for more.

I've been to Mojo Spa 3 or 4 times now for a no chip Mani and pedi. The services have been fantastic every time and my no chip always lasts 2 + weeks. I recently even went a little crazy and got a fancier Mani (which I never do) but I trusted my nail tech and she nailed it! The ONLY reason they don't get a 5 out of 5 is because it has been so difficult to book appointments. Every time I've called to make an appointment the phone rings and no one picks up. I have to call 5 times or more before someone picks up or, if I'm lucky, they will call me back. If they could find a better way to field calls during busy times they'd have 5 stars in my book.

Went there with my colleague. Here are some of my favourite items. 1. Soft as a Feather Shea Butter & Goat's Milk Body Soap SCENT: Jasmine, White Pepper & Ginger 2.Unlock the Beauty Shea Butter & Goat's Milk Body Soap SCENT: Amber, Musk, Vanilla I personally recommend this two soaps which smell great and have cute packagings. They offer mani, pedis and many other spa treatments. Hopefully I will have some nail spa menu next time.

This place is super cute and I wanted to rate it a 4, however I had a horrible experience with my nail technician. I got the sugar daddy package for a bachelorette party. George, the owner, is hilarious and great to talk to. He made us all feel welcome and appreciated. The place is decorated so beautifully and it was nice to hang out and listen to music during our rental period of the place. The products they sell can be a bit pricey, but well worth it as most are all natural and made in their basement. I love the detox mask and foundation! However, my negative review is because of my nail technician. I can't remember her name but it started with an N. Natasha maybe? She was rough on my ingrown toenails and didn't make much conversation at all. When it came time for my manicure, I informed her that I had dip powder leftover on and she was extremely rude. She screamed at me "YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD SOMEONE UGH!" And stormed off to leave me alone and threw her hands in the air. I had never gotten dip powder before so I was unaware it was going to cause any issue? The manicure chipped already the same day I got it. The nail tech never apologized or anything for the way she treated me. I was charged an extra $4 for "extended wear polish" and it's already chipped and coming off. I didn't even pick out an extended wear polish!!! Absolutely ridiculous to get charged for something I didn't get and to be treated so disrespectfully and unprofessional. Won't be back sadly.

I LOVE this local spa shop! I use their skin care religiously and it works fantastic . The face masks work wonders especially when you use them as a spot treatment over night . Not only do they work well , but they also smell great and are all organic . Definitely a local biz you want to support !

Had the BEST experience at the Chicago Dental Studio in West Loop!!! Like many, I dread visiting…read morethe dentist for routine cleanings, but my experience here was stellar (and now, my teeth are too!). From start to finish, I felt taken care of by the entire team and was highly impressed by their warmth, transparency (re: insurance pricing), and keen insights on my dental health. Thank you to the wonderful Mel, Jacinta, and Dr. Bosworth for all your hard work and professionalism - I look forward to coming back!

It has taken me quite some time to reflect upon this before writing a review. The Chicago Dental…read moreStudio is a decent facility overall, but I could never in good conscience recommend seeking dental care here due to Dr. Bosworth. The first issue that occurred is when I had a dental procedure performed. After injecting lidocaine, it took some time for Dr. Bosworth to come back and check on me. During the beginning of the procedure, he left the room to see other patients and didn't return for almost an hour. At that point, the local anesthesia had worn off and I had to undergo another unnecessary painful injection. It is quite obvious that Dr. Bosworth was juggling multiple patients at one time. This seems to be to maximize profit rather than actually focusing on providing quality care to each individual at a time. This was a scheduled appointment and it is never acceptable for a patient to have a needle stuck in their mouth, and then be essentially ignored for an hour, and then have to be stuck again just due to the wait. The second and much more concerning issue was regarding a crown that was placed. I had a root canal performed years before. Dr. Bosworth placed a crown over this area. Several month's later, I started having pain. When I saw Dr. Bosworth, he assured me that could not be the case since I should have no sensation in the area with the nerve already removed. I mentioned this several additional times and each time Dr. Bosworth wrote me off and ignored my concerns. I came to find out that there may sometimes be accessory nerves that may remain after a root canal and could absolutely continue to cause pain. I mentioned this to Dr. Bosworth yet again and he essentially told me that this was not the case and that my pain was from something else. Fast forward to a year later and I saw a different dentist as the pain was getting worse. They performed imaging and confirmed I had an accessory nerve in place that was indeed infected. The infection was too significant and had been occurring for so long that they would not be able to drill through the crown and tooth to treat the infection. I ended up having to spend thousands of dollars and go through several painful procedures to have the tooth extracted, then months later have a post placed, and then ultimately have another crown placed. I was informed by my new care team that this all could have been avoided if the accessory nerve infection was treated initially. This is despite me laying out the exact diagnosis for Dr. Bosworth. It is concerning that he lacks this medical knowledge despite his training, and even more concerning that this is the case after his patient had handed him the exact diagnosis. The pain and cost that I sustained due to Dr. Bosoworth's negligence is something I will always regret. I should have never gone to this dentist. I can't change what happened, but I would like to warn anyone thinking of seeking dental care here.

She's the only practitioner I trust with my skin, and this visit was extra special because I had my first more advanced treatment: an Erbium Peel laser. Afterward, my skin looked like I had a mild sunburn and felt warm, but I was still comfortable enough to meet family for dinner. Jennifer explained exactly what to expect and how to care for my skin, and she was spot-on (as always). By the next morning, the redness was gone, and my skin felt tighter, smoother, and glowing. For someone like me with super sensitive skin, Jennifer always finds the perfect balance--pushing just enough for great results without overdoing it. This treatment was the ideal first step into something a little more intensive without jumping into Botox or injectables. If you haven't visited Lustre or booked a treatment with Jennifer yet, this is your sign. I was naive at the time but I really wanted a little bit added to my bottom so I went in for a consult. I was also really skinny (like model skinny) so even then she told me oh yeah I've had patients your size or smaller do procedures by me, I wish she rejected me or at least did a less risky procedure since her skills didn't match the words I heard. My body was so perfect in every way before this procedure (just wanted a little boost on my bottom). I remember I said "I heard some peoples shoulders get bigger she was like "Oh no that's not true at all." She did Lipo to my stomach which barely had much fat, inner thighs, and back. Anyways 6 yrs later and I'm struggling with my body image. I've lost my confidence, my skinny bbl doesn't look great, can't find a solution because I have skin laxity on my back and stomach, scarring/tethering (again this is from the aggressive lipo she did and how she used the surgical tools), Lipo fibrosis on stomach and back and yes the upper back looks bigger. I followed all the instructions of wearing the compression garment and everything. The problem wasn't the aftercare instructions I perfectly followed, the problem was the poor surgical technique. She did aggressive lipo on me, took out too much fat because I was thin and ruined the look of my skin. I now have 2 rolls on my back that I never had before my procedure and I feel always bloated for some odd reason no matter what I eat healthy or not even though my diet didn't change. I only gained about 10 pounds (still at a weight women would love) but even with that if the surgical skills were good the body would grow out nice and even, it wouldn't look botched. I wish she rejected me and told me to come back in a year or 2 if I want something permanent after I try something temporary. I wish she told me thoroughly and openly what kind of problems can come up (this was only briefly discussed and none of the problems I have now were discussed as potential issues after surgery). I wish she gave me a temporary option or smaller procedure not as damaging as a first solution to see what it would look like. I didn't receive any other options. I think plastic surgeons (especially ones who've had botched outcomes from their work) need to give a couple options and really think about if the contouring will look nice with each option so the patient can have a good long term outcome and more people will trust them for procedures. Dr. Cobbins took away the most thing that made me confident back then and damaged my body. I am struggling in every way imaginable because of this procedure done by Dr. Lorri Cobbins. The most perfect parts of my body were ruined because of horrible surgical technique and now I am left grieving it. I struggle every day to look for a way to fix it and I'm too afraid to go to someone else that may further damage me. I don't take photos anymore like I used to, I don't try on clothes when I shop like I want to. I can't look at myself in the mirror the same way. Please if you want a better/different look try temporary cosmetic things first so they go away if you don't like them and you don't have to live with the permanent result of a botched procedure.
