This is my favorite Korean skincare store, it's also conveniently located on damen and cortland. You can find easy parking on cortland, parking on damen is a bit harder. The people who work here are always so helpful and friendly. I'm seriously so thankful this store exists bc otherwise, I'd have such a hard time trying to get my Korean skincare necessities. They have everything you need, from cleansers, to masks, serums, spf, makeup, nail polish, literally all the heavy hitters, they sell here. And if you haven't tried Korean skincare, what're you waiting for! South Korea is a leader in the best skincare for a reason, check it out yall. You won't regret it. read more

Oh my goodness! A store focused on K-beauty? The fact I found this place was happenstance as we were leaving Metta Baby across the street. But I love skincare and have a problem with buying skincare products so you know I was going to stop in. It's a small shop but has a LOT of merchandise. There are brands you may have heard of (like Dr. Jart--I didn't realize this was a Korean brand!) or Banila, as well as probably a lot that are probably new to you. They have inexpensive "daily" face masks (the quotations because I probably would not be doing them daily; I think they were $2 each) and then they have an entire mask bar. Amazing. And at the back of the store, they have a perfume bar which I didn't get a chance to look at. When I checked into the shop on Yelp, I saw that the hours indicated they are open until 6--which means they'd closed a few minutes before my check-in and I was keeping the guy working there (the owner, perhaps?). He didn't even indicate that it was near closing time but I'm glad I saw it so I didn't wander longer. I have lots more to see here and the mask bar alone could keep me occupied for a half hour. I did get a couple things even though I tried to get out quick, and bought a couple peel masks and an adorable headband. They have a reward program where, as of October 2023, you earn a point for each purchase of $30 and after five points you get $5 off (I think I got that correct!). I'm a K-beauty devotee and I was shocked to find out this place has been open for over 6 months before I discovered it. They need to get on this and do some more advertising to get the word out. K-beauty is all the rage and Dear72 will make anyone who's a fan of this trend a happy camper. I love a good sheet mask and panic when my personal supply gets below ten, so I'm always stocking up. Because I use them so often, I refuse to pay more than a few dollars per; Dear72 has them in all price points because: THERE'S AN ENTIRE WALL OF SHEET MASKS. SERIOUSLY, LIKE OVER 100. Have I died and gone to beauty heaven?! Best of all, sheet masks are buy 6, get one free. No excuse not to try one or several. In addition to the mask bar, they carry lots of other Korean skincare products and makeup; the usual cult-fave stalwarts like Laneige, Innisfree, and TonyMoly are well represented, but also many other brands I've not seen before. I'm a total sucker for cute packaging and the stuff here is adorable af. There's a great selection of jewelry and even a cooler of Korean beverages. So happy and impressed by this store!! Did not know it existed until a few days ago but it's been around for a few months. I recently have been getting more serious about skincare and ingredients, and this place is a skincare haven for those in need. I spent ~an hour here just taking in all the products and reading their descriptions (call me a skincare geek if you will). Owen was working when I stopped by and he was so knowledgeable on ingredients and helping me pinpoint some products that would help me get the effects I was looking for. He was also very honest, which I REALLY appreciated - this isn't a store where they just try to sell you on products. I felt like I was talking to a friend and getting true advice lol. He shared his own skincare journey and it was helpful, let alone relatable. Definitely stop by if you're into skincare.
