I've had much better individually and freshly prepared pizzas. I am not sure if it was the crust I didn't like, but it is creative. I had the special Olivia pizza and added the spicy chicken sausage and arugula. I also got the garlic strips and an Alaskan White Ale. The service is great. The variety is amazing. Pizza is one of my favorite foods. I came here for lunch with one of my friends and decided to order one pizza each and split a Caesar Salad. As I watched one of the cooks mix the salad in the zip lock bag, I wondered if that was our salad and if so, how on earth would they be able to split that? It was so small. When our orders were ready to go, I noticed that the box containing the salad was pretty light. Ignoring the voice in the back of my head to open the box, we left and headed back to work. I opened the box as we walked out of the convention center and cursed myself for not listening to that voice. The box was big, but what was inside was small AND the lettuce was wilted and brown. We thought about going back and ask them to remake it but we had to get back to work. When I got back to my desk, I decided to give the salad a chance. After all, I did pay for it. The lettuce was wilted and soggy and the little piece of bread that came with it tasted like plain dough and nothing else. We spent $57 on pizza for 3, salad and one canned wine with tip...not cheap (and now I wish I hadn't tipped at all). We were not only chastised though the ordering process, but the same woman yelled at us to get out at 9:15 because "they closed at 9". Meanwhile they didn't yell at the other table of 4 (because they were their friends). She never gave us a warning and, as tourists, we didn't know. A novel idea, its basically the Subway of pizza with considerably less crappy toppings. $6 nets you a 12' pizza with as many toppings as you want, and they have a decent amount. Thin crust, ready in about 5 minutes and pretty decent tasting(I've gravitated towards their meaty Mad Dog pizza). Really good value. And oh yeah, I had to do it..I ordered a pizza with all 26 toppings when I had a bunch of friends over and made a large order. I love MOD Pizza! I go there embarrassingly often because they're close to my work, delicious, and they offer gluten free crust. Get one of their milkshakes - you won't be sorry! I also love that you can pre-order online and just walk in and pick your pizza up. Prices are good (there is a slight up-charge for GF crust, but such is life when you're gluten free...) and service is friendly and fast. I got one of their salads today for the first time and it was so damn good! It's hard to beat their pizza, but the salad I had today (a take on their current seasonal, a kale/arugula mix with mushrooms and peppers) was really great and a good size. I'm in town from Dallas and visited MoD Pizza tonight for the first time. I was impressed.....the staff made me feel welcome and not rushed, the line moved quickly and there was plenty of seating available. The pizza ingredients were really fresh and the thin crust was delicious. It was a very filling meal. I fell in love with MoD Pizza's caramelized pear iced tea. It's one of the best teas I've ever had. It's the perfect blend of flavors. That in itself is worth the trip to the restaurant! The restaurant had upbeat, classic rock-n-roll music playing in the background, which made the atmosphere even more fun. Anyway, shared a very nice "Tor's custom mega mod" with my Mom and Bro. With 6 slices it fed us as a nice, affordable lunch. Oh man! I am a fan! I love that you get a personal sized pizza with ANY/ALL toppings you could want! My friend with a gluten allergy loves their gluten free pies too! I had pesto base with cheese (of course) bacon, artichoke hearts, fresh basil, onions, and probably some other toppings. You can ask for additional toppings (i.e. extra olives) and none of these cost extra! As you can see, I'm pretty excited! After it's taken from the oven, you can get some additional toppings such as fresh basil and dressings on the pizza. I'm glad they have other locations too, because I will be back! read more

I similply asked for a cheesy garlic bread straight off their menu, but it was evident that they didn't know how to make it when they started asking me what kind of sauce or toppings I would like. I said cheese and garlic because I wasnt sure what they usually put, they then proceeded by saying 'thats fucking weird' to my face. Simple make your own pizza spot. I like that you don't pay by the topping just pick the size you want an either go with a signature pizza or get creative and do your own thing. The prices are reasonable. A mini pizza was running about $5 and some change while a MOD pizza was about $8 and some change, again you don't pay per topping so stack up and enjoy the thin crust brick oven goodness. read more

I was in Seattle on business, and it was raining. Surprise. However,, I was walking by the MOD (Made on Demand) and chose to eat here as it was close to my hotel. Lucky stop. I asked for a crew favorite adding anchovies. You are allowed to put on as many toppings as you want. Also, they have about any topping you would want for your pizza. Nice thin crust which cooks great in the brick oven. Some local beers go great with your pizza. LUNCH BREAK! I was a little nervous that this would take longer than a lunch break only because every time we've gone there is a HUGE line out the door. Might I add that the last time I've actually been to MOD pizza was about 6months ago. As we walked into the convention center- totally excited as we smelt the scent of pizza. There was NO line what so ever! YAY! Does this mean that we either beat the rush or we missed the rush? Either way YAY for us! I ordered the Ulysses with tomatoes and a Cesar salad to be split in half. We waited not too long. YES everyone is right. they are SUPER fast for a pizza. It's not not surgery but the crust is seriously super thin so it really shouldn't take toooo long to bake. As we waited, the "baker" we placed the pizzas in the oven had no gloves on- pulled the pizza out of the oven and with his BARE HANDS he even spreaded the toppings then wiped his hands on his pants. BARF... YUCK! Are you KIDDING me!? What they called a "Cesar salad" had sliced mushy tomatoes with PINK cracked lettuce, a couple strands of I think cheese? and a ball of dough. This is the most disappointed I've been with anything in SO long- who in their right mind would serve a salad looking like this to a customer????? NOT to mention, the guy did not stop think to use new gloves so the whole salad tasted like flour- you literally could taste the little particles of flour. HORRIBLE So....... 3 stars for the pizza 1 star for the garbage salad 1 star for the service - bad judgment on serving something so miserably looking to a customer. It's been a while since I've had Mod and I love it! The fact that I could just dump all the toppings onto one pizza without any additional charge is amazing. Not saying that I do that, but it's nice to have that option. The line tends to be long during the weekday lunch hour, but I usually stick with it to get my pizza. I got the Caspian pizza which is their BBQ Chicken and I added roasted red peppers, green bell peppers, garlic, Canadian Bacon, Spicy Italian Sausage, and Jalapenos as my extra toppings. It's my second time at this location my first review was during a very busy lunch time when the sun was shining 5 years ago! I walk in and not very many people when I walked in, just three guys ahead of me. Many were sitting at tables enjoying their pizzas.
