This place is a complete or near miss. Police is either "meh" or over cooked and mutilated. Third or fourth time in the past two years I've called and asked for a refund. The photo attached is supposed to be a margarita pizza. It's over cooked and the cheese is greasy as duck. I don't know if I'd recommend this place or not. Raised in and lived in Chicago and from Manhattan- I try to be fair to other cities pizza's because if you know, you know what good pizza should be (regardless of thin or thick crust :)). When I have people come visit we at least do one meal here. When living in Seattle this is my go to pizza place-the toppings are fresh and the folks who work here can follow instructions (I order online then pick up). I have always had the pleasure of living near a Pagliacci's no matter what part of Seattle I have lived- so I have visted quite a few locations and the pizzas are always consistent no matter which location :). They also offer a great range of toppings so there is something for everyone. This was 4th time being moved back to WA after living in another state, my place was in disarray and still not unpacked (this was the WORST move back to WA) and I just wanted some comfort food. I was on my way back from running errands and drove up to this location- this is more of a pick up and go location. I parked and went in-and there was the friendliest man ever that welcomed me in. I told him a was a bit early but I had ordered a pizza online -maybe he saw how tired and defeated I looked or maybe he is just a genuinely good person- whatever the case he had the BEST energy and was so kind-he's like "you have great thiming! I am just finishing up on your order!" Like a second later I was on my way home to one of the most comforting meals after a long few days of a stressful move. The pizza like always was delicious, the smells were amazing- fresh-tasty-well seasoned-I ordered a thin crust style pizza with only veggies. We used to have a Pagliacci down on Mercer but am I ever glad I discovered this one! It's pretty much to-go only, but their on-line ordering system is pretty groovy. I suggest adding a couple of minutes to their estimate for when your pizza will be ready. But when you get the pizza (and the salads - awesome!!) you will be more than satisfied. We've had a few pizzas and calzones, and of course salads, but I'll be dipped if I can find my photos of them. I made sure I got a photo of the large pepp/mush/spinach/parsley we ordered most recently. Another huge plus: at this location you can just pop in off Aurora, pick up your order and be on your way. Solid 3.5 stars. I love the customizable options, the gluten free and dairy free selection, and the (thicker) crust! For that alone, this place stands out. I tried 2 gluten free options: specialty fig and prosciutto (replacing mozzarella with vegan cheese) and veggie (no cheese). Toppings were fresh and plentiful. Flavor was a little bland and vegan cheese was gummy/sticky. Not my favorite selections. For the gluten and dairy-ful crowd, reviews were the same. So I recently read a tid-bit from someone who talked about the difference between "dine-in" pizza and pizza you get to-go. That being said, this is a place we go for takeout. There are other places you go for ambience or a date. This is our to-go pizza company when we want to veg out on the couch at home. The time estimates have always been accurate. We've done both takeout and delivery, and have always had a pleasant experience. The have a customer management system so they know your past orders and so can quickly re-order past favorites. I would say this is most similar to New york style pizza with crispy crust. Always cooked the right amount, to golden brown. It's a little greasy but so is all pizza so I blot it with a napkin before I eat it, regardless of where we order from. We've had the Italiano, the Rocket and the Tomato Gorgonzola--all delicious, but the Rocket is definitely my favorite! Not sure why this place doesn't have more stars? but we certainly like it! read more

Pleasantly surprised at how good this delivery pizza tasted. The veggies are very fresh and you can see it based on the vibrant colors in the photos. The crust is thin and crispy which prevents it from being soggy. It is also very light (compared to neapolitan or Domino's), so expect to eat more of these pizzas than you would normally. Another plus - the leftover pizza reheated very well the next morning and made for an awesome brunch. The crust remained in tact and had the same crisp to it. 1 star is being deducted since the toppings are not as generous as the pictures they posted. Compare my Salumi's Spicy Pepperoni to the one that the establishment has posted here at Yelp and you can see how the pepperoni coverage is different Tip: If you are planning to order 2 pizzas for delivery, do it online and you get $10 off applied automatically at checkout for "delivery special". Seattle, you don't know how good you've got it. There are two levels of pizza in my book: delivery and eat in/take away. As far as I'm concerned, there are different standards for both. Standards for eat-in being far higher: think Little Star or Pizzeria Delfina from San Francisco, Via Tribunali in Seattle. We are talking about a truly special pizza, folks. My standards for pizza delivery have always been lower, because I want it quick and easy. And let's face it, maybe a movie and pajamas are involved. Seattlites, the great thing about Pagliacci is you can wear your pajamas AND eat good pizza. Do you know how rare that is? After living in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and Seattle, I can attest to the fact that finding good pizza delivery even in great food cities is a difficult thing. So when I don't want to take off my slippers, I am usually not expecting to enjoy farm fresh ingredients and charcuterie from one of the best place on the West Coast (Salumi) Are you serious? You mean I also get great customer service? Really? I'm wearing my pajamas AND I get to buy pizza from a company that worries about recycling their pizza boxes? Wow, did I just score or what? I had initially written a 2 star review for this place based on a pretty bad experience the first time I had Pagliacci Pizza. I'm happy to say that I can say that was probably an off day. I ended up having various pizzas from here over the last 2 months at some office and building get togethers and they were all really good. Last night I ordered a half fresh veggie and half south philly from here. The pizza was really fresh and flavorful. One of the few places where the crust was also nicely seasoned and tasted nice. They delivered warm and fresh in 20 minutes and it was nice to actually have a delicious pizza at home for a change. My only complaint is that it's a little on the Pricey side for delivery pizza. Now that I've new found confidence in them, I will surely be ordering Pizza from here again. I'm always very glad when a restaurant I disliked proves me wrong and ups their game. We called to place the order on phone(206-726-1717) and the guy on the other end was not easy to talk to. He was rude and not willing to explain if they can deliver for lunch or not. In the 14 years I have lived here, I have NEVER had a wrong order here, never had a problem and always loved the customer service. That said, they do skimp on the toppings, but other than that there are no problems. We usually end up getting pepperoni, feta and roasted garlic. Seattle, you have GOT to be joking?? Is this the best you can do for pizza? I've heard mixed reviews of Pagliacci. Some people have said it's one of the best pizza chains in Seattle. My fiance, on the other end, said it was a "salt lick with a side of grease". So I decided to try it. A salt lick with a side of grease would have had FAR more flavour, and been more enjoyable. We'll start with the toppings. Which were somewhat okay, but skimpy. Seriously skimpy. Like the person who put it together had an allergy to pepperoni, mushrooms, and garlic, and was going to keel over in a fit if they had to remain in contact with any of them. The mushrooms and garlic actually had some flavour, but the red-dyed cardboard that they called pepperoni was pretty much added as an afterthought. As in "oops, we forgot to put some on, we'll sprinkle some on it after it comes out of the oven and call it good" Or maybe they were just cheap. I'll vote for cheap. The crust was nicely thin, but that pretty much ended it's positive traits. Dry and tough, yet curiously tasteless, it was less a pizza crust and more an exercise for your jaws and teeth. The breadsticks said on the menu "fresh herbs and cheese finished with sea salt. Served with marinara sauce" Sounds good. What I got were some over baked chew toys, with no salt to be seen or tasted. They may have been stored in a room for a week or two after baking with something that may have had cheese in it at one point, but that's the closest they came to cheese. As for fresh herbs, I'll admit the herbs might have been fresh at one point. That point being when some primitive hunter-gatherer found the herbs wild before the start of agriculture and civilization. They certainly weren't fresh anytime this decade, and I have my doubts about the last few millenniums... The red chunky water with some ketchup added were the perfect complement to a breadstick that overall bore a very strong kinship to a stale Milk Bone in taste and texture. Over all, I got the impression that Pagliacci should consider branching out. Roof shingles might be a better use for the pizza crust. Or maybe floor tile. I'd say the breadsticks would be better used as a dog toy, but I like dogs. read more

My husband and I are new to Seattle and we're having to find new favorite restaurants and services... Didn't realize how much trial and error was involved. This is my go to spot for pizza. It's a little pricey, considering it's near Dominos, but the quality of ingredients and taste are well worth the price. The calzones and bread sticks are also good if you want something smaller or cheaper. The seasonal pizzas are always on point. read more

We just moved here from Chicago... and while Chicago is famous for deep dish (we gasp) prefer NY style! And finally after months of searching here in Seattle we have found it. Pagliacci Pizza (though a chain) is delicious and has the perfect chewy crust and NY style that we prefer... I know Mad Pizza is supposedly fantastic but that is what we have been eating and no longer... Everyone should try Pagliacci Pizza! They are reasonably priced and fast and the staff couldn't be more friendly!!! They also have amazing bread sticks and will bring you gelato... what more can one ask for! This is our favorite stop for takeout pizza. The parking at this location is tough, especially if the few spots in the parking lot are taken by delivery drivers, but if you have two people and one person can just sit in the car in the middle of the parking lot and you are good to go.
