The BEST gluten-free crust I've ever had! It's kind of sweet which is different but super tasty. Also the dairy-free cheese is amazing...it even melted! Perfect place for people with food allergies! They were SO CAUTIOUS and asked if we needed glove changes, special pizza trays and other special care for cross contamination. Wish we had a MOD where we live, it would be a frequent eat out spot! Didn't take any pictures but no need to since you pick what you want on your pizza so it's beautiful in the eyes of the eater. read more

This place is the ONLY place that I actually like pizza. Generally, I hate pizza but this place is amazing. Any topping, any amount, same price? Can't beat that! Plus, I work at the gas station up the street. These kids are so sweet. Not only did they make my pizza on the fly, but brought it to me and my coworker up the street- free of charge... If course I tipped them, but these guys are the best and they make the best pizza around. GO MOD read more

Our first visit. Didn't know what to expect but ya as pleasantly surprised by the friendly service and patience with us as they graciously described the process, how toppings work (and are FREE), and the different crust options (yes, even GF!). Ended up with more toppings on my pizza than planned and it was INCREDIBLE! Tried the cinnamon twists and cinnamon dipping sauce, those did also not disappoint (especially my 6-year old). We also tried the No Name Cake and it tastes like the freshest ding dong ever. read more

MOD Pizza - Went in thinking "basic" pizza and came out with this delightful one instead. Amazing service. Fresh toppings and crust. We will be back!! - Pizza Near Me - Salem, Oregon

Food was great. The reason I gave it one star was the assistance manager whole I was told is Brittney was SOOOOO rude. When going through the line she was demanding and pushy as to being pushed to order items ASAP. When it came to cheese I had to point out which one and went slightly over glass. She BARKED not to. Rude rude rude so rude it makes me never want to come back to this location. read more

Quick, simple, tasty! This is the new thing in pizza. 6" or 11", thin crust, off the menu or build your own... Pizza with anything you want and as much as you like for under $10? Why wouldn't you do it? I have been to a few of these in .ca, so no mystery. They built my pizza to order with a refreshing customer service attitude. This will be one of my "go to" places for a quick pizza meal. read more

Love this place!!! I usually have the MOD salad...which is out of this world m, but this time I wanted a pizza, however on my eating program, I am unable to have flour...gluten-free or otherwise. The GREAT guy behind the counter concocted a pizza-like dish without the crust!! So accommodating, friendly, helpful and it was OH SO GOOD!!! THANK YOU....MY FAVORITE PIZZA PLACE!!! read more

MOD Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Salem, Oregon

This location seems to be hit or miss. Last time I ordered (using Door Dash) it was delicious. Today, I ordered the same pizza the same way but the pizza was missing the red dollops on top, there were huge chunks of artichoke instead of slices, and the garlic smell was unbelievable. I got roasted garlic last time and it was great. Today it was so overpowering that I went to another room to eat. I love garlic but it was all you could smell and taste. Ordered garlic strips for the first and last time. Dry as heck. On the plus side, they have coke in glass bottles. read more

Disappointed. Everytime I order my gluten free pizza there is hardly any cheese and any toppings. I only get gluten free because of my allergies and I feel like I'm being punished. Three times I've gotten gluten free and same outcome. When I went in and watched them make it I had to ask for extra topping. I'm only writing a review because I dont eat pizza that often but when I do I want it to be good damnit. Just kinda over them. To bad read more

MOD Pizza is great! Staff can be a little sassy, but I kind of like it. Made me want to come back to be sassed again. Don't get me wrong they are really friendly but it's always fun to joke around with the employees. I love that all the pizzas are the same price no matter how much it little toppings you put on. They have lots of different toppings that you can add to your pizza. I love their garlic spread that you can add to your pizza. All of the ingredients are fresh and ready to be cooked. The name says it all: Made On Demand. Great pizza! YUM If you want to have a pizza that you can design yourself then go here. You won't be disappointed. I think it would be a fun date place to be honest. Come here with your girl or guy and make a pizza together to share and then go to a movie after. I think yes! read more

Love being able to order different combinations for myself and family! The lines go quickly-worth the wait!

Been there twice and it's been delicious both times! Super fast and good value! Love being able to make the pizza your own (tons of different toppings!) and it doesn't cost extra. We will be making this place one of our regular food restaurants :) great work guys! read more

MOD Pizza - Our pizza! Dillion James with chicken- finished with Pesto and red sauce dollops, garlic dippers, and and mad dog pizza. - Pizza Near Me - Salem, Oregon

We order Mod Pizza online a few times a month, and the last 3 orders we have done have not been correct. Tonight was no exception. One of the pizzas we ordered was barely cooked (a mega), and was doughy. It also had no sauce, but was selected while ordering and confirmed via email. It was supposed to have red sauce dollops and a pesto swirl. Neither of those were on it, including a few toppings as well. Don't get me wrong, the pizzas were/are delicious. But, when you order online, and it's printed out exactly how you want something, it should be done correct :/ read more

It was...OK. As others have stated, it's the Subway of pizza places. I went with a "make your own" and while I was satisfied with my choices, I found the pizza to be quite bland--by pizza standards. What I was not satisfied with was the sauce person. I watched her painstakingly try to spread out one tablespoon of sauce, as if she was afraid to add more. When she was finished, the sauce was 4 inches from the edge, so I relieved her stress by asking for more. She happily obliged. Anyway, the pizzas are pretty cheap, but they aren't all that filling. The crust is thin, which I like, but it's so thin that it hardly held up to my minimal toppings. I saw people with toppings 6 inches high--I can only wonder how they picked up a slice to eat it. At any rate, if you LOVE pizza and are positively starving, one of these pizzas won't be enough. Get two, or one pizza and one salad. All the above being said, this is not a "destination" kind of place. I think it's great to take your kids to (which will be the only reason I return), but it's not great for a couple of adults who want quality, filling pizza. read more

Always a production problem at lunch time. Should have their best people working production at the lunch hour.

Soooo good! You can customize your pizza with anything you want for one price! (Gluten-free crust does cost $2 extra) They have a vegan cheese option and the pesto is nut-free, so any dietary concerns should be able to get a pizza or salad that they'll enjoy. You can get a personal size for $4.67 no matter how many toppings you add, which is an amazing value! Some of their toppings are very gourmet, too, so you can go fancy for cheap. I ordered online and chose my pickup time, so no line. I'm definitely coming back- often! read more

MOD Pizza - Birthday pizza! - Pizza Near Me - Salem, Oregon

Pizza is delicious but they thoroughly messed up our Postmates order. I called the store number right away when we got the order (at 10:13pm) and the guy who answered was very nice, took my name, and said he'd make a note in the office to replace the order. We went back the next day and got the third degree when I explained the situation. The lady said she had rang the shift the night before and they hadn't gotten a call. I showed her my phone records and verified that I had called their store phone number. They replaced the order and the guy pulling the pizzas out apologized profusely and was super nice. We LOVE the pizza from MOD, but the service this day was exceptionally bad from the person supposedly in charge. We didn't ask for our order to come so wrong that we couldn't stomach them! read more

Wow!! Visiting Salem again. All I can say is I do NOT go around giving five stars out to just anyone. This chain pizza place opened I. Seattle apparently in the late 2000s and has expanded to locations in Oregon and California. When I heard it was a "quickly prepared" pizza I thought, no thank you, microwave Pizza. WRONG!! Basically you choose the size and toppings you want on your pie ( think Subway) as far as choice. The pizza's are then blasted in an 800 degree f oven for no longer than four minutes. They also have amazing salads to choose from. Best Caesar I have ever had ( I ate there 7 times in less than a week)!! It's crispy, absolutely delicious and a mini costs under five bucks, medium under eight. Salads are extremely reasonable too!! You will not be sorry. There is one in Irvine on Alton Parkway. Give it a try!! I would give it six stars if I could!! I thought Amici's Pizza in the Bay Area was my favorite. ( still is, but now it's an even tie)!! read more

Best pizza I've ate. Fresh ingredients and unlimited topings. There's so many options for sauce, cheese and toppings. The lemonade was so delicious. The staff was friendly as well. read more

What a great Pizza! Great environment! Great staff! All toppings included for one price, so it's easy to try new things that you might not like but don't want to pay for. I was able to sit back with a pizza and a beer and just love it. Glad to have them in town. read more

If I could give this place 20 stars I would. This place reminds me of chipotle but with pizza! It's really awesome that you have so many toppings to choose from. And they move pretty fast as well. The pizza is like a flatbread but so delicious! I usually don't like flat bread pizza but this is really good. The pricing is great too! Me and my husband paid 21 dollars for two mod pizzas and breadsticks. The staff is friendly and quick. This place is so cool. I'd keep coming here. read more

They've Produced quality food that's fast and easy to order. Great costumer service and places to sit.

Good pizza, love the order line. Been to the one at pdx on the many trips here years ago. Now I live in Salem and was happy to see one here in town. It is not 5 star pizza, few are, but absolutely 4 star blows the other chains away. read more

Really good pizza. Really good salads. Helpful and friendly staff. As many toppings on your pizza you want at a set price, is always a plus!!! Thin and crispy just like I like it. I came to MOD commercial street this past Sunday, I'm a MOD super fan and have to say, I had the best experience ever. The pizza is always good, but the best part was my cashier. I think her name was Alexis. She really made me feel welcome, was super cheerful and accommodating, introduced me to NO NAME cakes which are amazing! Really made my night & a top MOD experience in my book. read more

How can you go wrong with the subway of pizza. I just love me some MOD pizza. The only thing missing is the sundried tomatoes. They used to have them and I just love them a little sweet a little tart u know. I always make my own combinations and no two are ever the same. It's a great opportunity to try combinations that u wouldn't try anywhere else. read more

I would go to Mod whenever I was out south all the time pre-covid. Since covid has happened and I've been getting my food curbside I have been more than disappointed in the quality of the pizza. When I order a chicken and bacon and I counted 5 small pieces of chicken on the whole pizza and large areas of the pizza with barely even cheese compared to before where they would always load it up and make it immaculate. I get penny pinching due to covid but if its going to effect quality then why? read more

Food was good, but the place is too noisy - in serious need of some acoustic tiles. A couple comments - one was they put my salad on the counter while another customer was being waited on. I thought that was a bad good handling practice. Also, the pizza makers don't pass the order on to the cashier so if you are ordering multiple items - either one person needs to know the entire order, or everyone needs to stay at the register. read more

Wait time was way to long for a hurriedly made, too greasy pizza. Had to tell the girl 3 times to add more than 5 pepperoni....I ate at another MOD Pizza prior to this place and it was of much higher quality. Wont be returning here again. Beer was delicious though read more

Great pizza if you like fresh ingredients and a thin crust. Depending on who is working the fire oven, it turns out great. Kid friendly.

Upon entry into MOD pizza the employees were anticipating my arrival and all said hello in unison. It was nice to know they acknowledge everyone who enters. The menu is expansive with the option to customize or "Mod" anything. Pretty cool! I appreciate that the employees who were in direct contact with food were wearing gloves, but I noticed an employee touch his face and did not re-wash their hands and put on new gloves. From order to receipt of my pizza it was a matter of 5 minutes and 30 seconds. Insanely fast for pizza! The flavor was great on the BBQ chicken pizza with Gorgonzola cheese, better known as "the Caspian." Overall: fast pizza, great flavor, I would come back. But please ensure the employees are washing hands and not touching their faces. Thanks! read more

We stopped in tonight for the first time and it was so delicious! Everything is fresh and loads of items to put on a pizza! We each had the 11 inch pizza. Its unbelievable how they can charge $6.76 for it and you can put and and as much on it. Truely my kind of pizza! read more

Fast service, very good pizza, and a great value at the price. We're here more often than I'd care to admit, probably 8-10x over the last few months. I see plenty of negative reviews here from folks apparently expecting Chicago-style, which this is not- it's a very nice thin, crisp crust, and their topping portions are just about perfect to maintain that. A huge cheese bomb on top of a crust like that would leave you with a gooey mess. Considering that these are basically fast food prices, they do a great job. The space is noisy (by design, I'm sure, to help turn tables), so it's not the best choice for conversation, although the outside seating is better. read more

Horrible service! Everyone was rude! They would just throw the toppings like it was whatever. It wasn't too busy and almost every table was dirty! Had to clean the table myself. Pizza wasn't cooked all the way. Very upset with everything in general. The whole restaurant was super dirty! read more

Great pizza that comes out fast. Reasonably priced. Only downside was the guy yelling out orders the whole time. Was obnoxious and there has to be a better system they can figure out. The uniforms they wear too are weird. Otherwise food was good and I will be back! read more
