What a great new way to building a pizza and awesome environment to hang out in. Old school pizzerias take forever to get your pizza. Mod pizza had my done in about 6 minutes from start to finish. I usually love popping in here for a pizza but Friday I stopped got there a 4:45 after work there were 4 people ahead of me, usually not a big deal. I waited in line for 35 minutes. People in line were left waiting while they worked on the on line orders. Usually if I get there before 5:oo you can get out pretty quickly last Friday it was 45 minutes. I think they need to come up with a better plan to accommodate lobby customers vs on line orders. Several people in line expressed the same frustration. read more

I've been to MOD Pizza twice now. I LOVE their pizza. Wonder thin crispy crust and you can get pretty much any topping you want on it for no extra charge! I started out with a base Mad Dog and added Tomatoes, Onions and Olives. The last time I was here I got a side salad added to it and between the pizza and salad I was STUFFED beyond belief. The Side Salad is HUGE, probably close to a regular entree salad at any regular restaurant. MOD would be a 5-star establishment, but today they lost a star from me. I've worked in food service and now customer service for the last 4 years, and normally they impress me with their laid-back, family vibe. Today at 8:30pm I got in a pretty long line, which is normal for this place and I wasn't upset at all. The crew members were funny, friendly, and working quickly. I tipped them for their service up to that point. After a few minutes of waiting for my order, I heard the people before and after me in line get called up, then the people after them, and never my own. I was there alone, and I stayed fairly close to the counter to wait. After 10 minutes I asked them if they had an order under my name. The guy working had 8 or 9 orders in front of him waiting to come out and couldn't find mine. I had to have my order re-taken and I ended up being in the store for 45 minutes to get a single pizza. They helped me out by giving me 3 free pizza vouchers, which I appreciate. But I have to write this review to point out to the store that these kind of interactions don't leave a good taste in my mouth, and makes me want to go to a different location in the future. read more

Loved the idea of customizing our pizza and salad but after tasting everything I would rate this "Meh". The sauce and crust had no flavor and the veggies were just okay. Normally every MOD I go to is very good, but this was my first time at this location and quite possibly my last. First off, the wait time was very long and there were not that many people there. Secondly, they burnt my pizza and gave it to me anyway. Thirdly, my pizza did not taste very good when I did receive it. Fourthly, every single table was disgustingly dirty!!! They were not so busy that someone couldn't come out and wipe down tables and sweep floors. Finally, IT MADE ME SICK!!!! I have never become ill from eating at a MOS's, but unfortunately, this time I did. As I said earlier, I have never had an issue at all the different MOD's I've been too, so this is a first. It will take me awhile to go back to any of the establishments (if I ever do) after this experience because once something makes me sick, I normally never eat it again. Went in there for the 1st time last week. Walked into in, They yelled "Hey" to welcome us in. Was somewhat busy 10 people in line in front of us. Several in back. Waited in line staring at them menu, hoping to figure out what I was supposed to do by the time we got to the front. We got to the front of the line the nicest worker in the 1st position greeted us. He could tell it was the Our 1st time. He took a min to explain everything to us. Was absolutely great of him made the experience. Went thru ordered and the workers walked us thru nicely. From the time this MOD pizza location opened, I have been an enthusiastic, two to four times a month, customer. Typically I would order two to three items per visit. This came to a close today, because of rude customer service, and an apathetic manager who could only say "I'm sorry" when told he would be losing a customer permanently. I've ordered breadsticks, no garlic, with red dipping sauce at this location for over a year. Today, the first employee I spoke with refused this order. When I stated I had order that many times prior, he stood his ground and refused to make this for me. I spoke with a manager a few minutes later, telling him what had occurred. As noted above, retaining a loyal customer would have apparently required too much effort. I will be sharing this story with many other MOD customers. This makes me sad, because I have enjoyed this product immensely, but rudeness is not something I can tolerate. read more

So, I've enjoyed MOD pizza for quite some time. I like the food, I like the staff, I like the vibe. It's fun. I like that I'm not nickel and dimed for extra this or that. It's all included. As much or as little as you want on your pizza. You ask/direct, they create. And it's delicious. Last night, (4/22/19 8:30'sh pm) while the food was delicious ... as always ... the atmosphere was not. While ordering my pizza, I asked for wall to wall pepperoni. I apologized for the extra work it entailed, and the person making my pizza was awesome. Her general attitude was "you're the customer, we want to make you happy". I like that. She made a comment that this pizza was "kinda like the Armadillo" ... I'd never heard of it before and before I could ask her what the Armadillo was, an angry voice rang out "WE DON'T MAKE THE ARMADILLO ANYMORE. DON'T SAY ARMADILLO". What?? First, why yell?? Secondly, don't holler at the person helping me while she's making my pizza. If you have a problem, you speak to the person quietly, calmly, and professionally. Ugh. Well, she finished making the pizza and I continued to the cash register. At the register, he (Anthony?) hollers out yet AGAIN!! "WE WON'T DO THE ARMADILLO ANYMORE. THE COMPANY SAYS IT'S TOO EXPENSIVE!!!!". I spoke up and asked that he not yell and that it was making me uncomfortable. No response, just a stone faced glare. I felt horrible for the staff working with him. The disrespect was dripping from the walls. And, if I'd written this review a week or so ago, I would have raved about Anthony ... in the past, he's always been friendly and enthusiastic. IDK what happened last night. But, note to you, Anthony ... MOD's business model has always been that you'll make it the way we want it. Unless it's too giant to cook evenly, or some other technical issue, don't EVER holler out that your company doesn't want to make a certain pizza because it's too expensive! Seriously. I am giving this 2 stars more because the "employees don't care about the customers "attitude they seem to have . Their mission statement basically says it's all about the employees and i guess they took that to heart but I have to say a business has to have customers too if you wanna pay the employees... I absolutely love the pizza and love that I can get it my way at other locations other than this one. I give mod pizza as a whole a 5 star but just try and go to a different location as this particular location is sub par. The pizza is good, but I was disappointed to see how one of their female employees was disrespectful to me, a deaf customer. A female employee let out a dramatic sigh and rolled her eyes at me as I gestured to her that I was deaf, after she tried to speak to me, as if I was intentionally refusing to communicate. It is not my fault that I am profoundly deaf and unable to speak at all. I did not deserve that disrespectful response from this employee, who clearly does not understand how to work with customers with disabilities. I typed on my iPhone to let her know that if she needs to communicate with me that she needs to not sigh and roll her eyes at me. She became angry then left her work station to complain about me, in front of me. She was just making it worse for herself, embarrassing herself, and disrespecting me further. The other employees seemed uncomfortable and wasn't sure what to do as she kept on complaining. I asked to talk to the manager. I was not directed to the manager, but to another employee who could finger-spell a little bit and not sign very well. That employee was nice and called the manager over to talk to me. I appreciated that. The manager, the employee whose signing was very rusty, and I talked via writing back and forth. They were nice, respectful, and trying to make it right. They were very apologetic and gave me a free meal. However, that does not solve the problem. I do sincerely hope that the manager will talk to the disrespectful employee and that employee will treat other customers with disabilities better. The food is awesome but I honestly do not feel comfortable coming back to a place who hired an employee who thinks it's okay to treat a customer like that. read more
