BEST PIZZA in SALEM hands down!!!! I will not eat at any other pizza place in the city because they just don't stand up to the delicious that Pietro's delivers. They have been around since 1957 and you can taste it that old school thin crust style. We love the Pietros Combo the best but you gotta try the Taco Pizza which is killer and change it up with the Mediterranean pizza. Went to Pietros today, like my family and I have for years. We have always had little to no bad service or poor quality. Today we debated to go to MOD or Pietros and chose Pietros for the good food and ambiance. We ordered our food which were 3 individual pizzas ( mini pizzas of 4 slices ) with some challenge and confusion for the lady taking our order but it was fine. When we ordered we were not told about any waiting time so we continued to take our seats and wait. We did not get our pizzas until ONE HOUR later. After that long wait we no longer even wanted to eat, we only stayed because we payed. I am very disappointed in the wait. It would have been some kind of understandable if we were told there would be a 30-45 minute wait but no that was not the case. We left wishing we went to MOD instead. read more

Decided to give Pietro's another try, it had been a couple years since our last visit. This visit was so much better than the last time. The pizza was great, we ordered a large combination & a half BBQ chicken half Italian ( can't remember the name). Crispy crust and lots of toppings. I got the salad bar, it was really clean this time and had lots of different things to choose from. We also ordered the Mac & Cheese off the kids menu, she liked it. The food isn't bad at all. My kiddo loved his mini pizza. And the gentleman that serviced all the games gave us some extra coins. My two year old was STOKED. Workers here have always been accommodating.Games are retro some are newer. All worked but some of the older games (the shooting gallery) could use a little more love. We played putt putt golf. It's quick and fun but man some of the things in there have been played with and abused so much. Our mission was to go to three pizza houses as we were in Corvallis for the NCAA regionals...which OSU won. Pietro's was a bit disappointing as it was just ok. I had the BBQ Chicken and the sauce had too much of a "kick" in it. Why not serve something sweet or just good old Sweet Baby Rays? The crust was different than I recall from before. I had a party scheduled 2 weeks from when I called to add people to my reservation & they did not even have the right time down we agreed on. On top of that they told me I cannot add more people even though the person I booked the party with said to call if I need to change anything. when I asked how we can fix this since my invites already went out with the time we agreed on they said nothing and I can take it or leave it and were not apologetic for this huge inconvenience they just put on my husband and I. With how much money we were going to spend on pizza for our party its sad they were not more helpful. Had the absolute worst pizza I've ever had. It was supposed to be a chicken taco pizza. When it came out we were all a little grossed out. Waste of money. We got the kids personal size pizzas and they weren't too pleased either. One kid actually said it was "gross". Half of the games were broken or out of order.
