Flies everywhere was awful dine in experience. Taco pizza had barely any meat on it and when you could find a piece it was the tiniest little ground beef with absolutely no flavor. The price definitely doesn't match the quality. The hood over the pizza ovens seems very inadequate as the staff was working in a very Smokey area, so bad smoke is coming out into the lobby where you order and pick up to go orders. read more

Although we love the pizza it was crazy to spend $65 on 2. It's been years since we've eaten inside, mostly takeout. All was good!

I used to love Paddingtons pizza. Innyhe last year or so their crust has changed. It's soggy, flat, flavorless. Used to be a bubbly crispy on the outside crust. I recently went back. I ordered a large pizza. It was $42! The pepperoni still had the rind on it, so it was like chewing on small rubber bands. I mentioned it to one of the owners. She said they were aware of it, but had recently switched pepperoni suppliers to Hormel. This is how they received it. She said they are working with Hormel to resolve the issue. She stated that Hormel stated the rind was safe for consumption. They are going to use it anyway. They are aware of it. So, they'll continue to sell an inferior product, until it's gone. They know it's a problem, but will continue to charge you an outrageous price for a inferior product. That's all I need to know. I'll find another pizza. Walerys is outstanding! read more

Absolutely disgusted, my family took in for my birthday they forgot to reserve our table we talked for the day before. The place was filled with a smoky haze, everyone was talking about around us. Are the vents for the ovens not working correctly? To top it off its over 100 degrees outside and the air-conditioning isn't working correctly, or at all. I am surprised at the positive reviews. Maybe it used to be good? Maybe there's actually no good pizza in this town? It was at least two hours before closing and chairs were stacked up on the tables in the front of restaurant. I get that they were probably trying to close off a section, but maybe do it a different way. We ordered pizza and a salad, and after we were handed the salad, the cashier said "we're out of forks, sorry." Uh, how do you expect us to eat the salad then? Have been going to Padingtons Pizza South for years, hasn't been the same since Troy is gone. We try at least once a month , constant new employees ,pizza hit and miss, maybe one out of three times if that, its good. Tonight asked for light cook which is don't make the crust so well done its burnt. It was horrible, hardly any sauce and super thin, crust and toppings barely done, ordered canned mushrooms got fresh. Pizza is thin crust and consistently delicious. Service is consistently polite and mistake-prone. Check your pizzas to make sure they are correct before you leave the restaurant. Paddingtons has always had really good pizza. It's the best in the area. Today we went in for the lunch special. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. The lunch special is one of the best values around. The gentleman gave me a punch card, which was an added bonus for an already wonderful value. Made our first trip to Padington's and it didn't disappoint. I love the vintage pizza parlor vibe. Reminds me of the one's from my childhood. Pizza was fantastic and leftovers are always great the next day! We arrived just before the crowd showed up on a Friday night. The pizza here is my favorite in town right now. Unfortunately it is overpriced unless you can catch the lunch special. And that's the only special your gonna get. I never see ANY promotions or coupons for this place. Customer service seems nice enough at the counter but the owner and the boys making pizza just have blank stares and never smile. Seems to be a high staff turnover. I also think it is a shame to not take advantage of technology. Why they don't deliver seems a failure. Our family used to go to Paddingtons for every occasion when George owned it and then when his son took over. Absolutely outstanding! I don't make it to Salem much anymore, but found myself lucky today. For years I have refused to travel to Capital City without a stop to Padington's. Today's trip did not leave me disappointed. I appreciate the quality ingredients, and abundance of them, that go into each pizza. There is a consistency of quality with this establishment I have become quite fond of over the years. I have never experienced poor quality food or a lack of customer service at this amazing pizza parlor. 1978 is when they opened, sadly I was not aware until the late 90s. Once I found it i was sold. Thank you for being a staple of Oregon food and the quality that people expect in our region. I look forward to my next pizza. read more

I was in a group of 30 people for Pizza last night, which had to generate at least $1000 for them and $30/pizza for the large one. I am a huge pizza fan and my favorite has always been Shakeys back in the 70'sand then Pietro's and then Walery's. Padingtons and Pietros share the same of almost everything because the original partners went separate ways but kept the same pizzas and recipes for the most part. In the last few years when Dave Walery was running Walerys, it was the best ever and I still go there for a great pizza. So when our group decided to go to Padington's, I thought I would give it a try again, as I remember it being pretty good in the past, and boy was I ever wrong! It was the worst pizza I have had in a long time for the reasons listed in recent yelp reviews: Thin crust, bad sauce, skimpy ingredients, and hardly any cheese at all. Overall I would give it a -10 on a 1-10 scale. I would not recommend this pizza to my worst enemy and $30 is 4x what it should be for what it was. a large Domino's Pizza is much better and we know where Dominos is on the scale of decent pizzas. Heed this review and read the others before you make a really bad mistake in your choice of Pizza's and I recommend Walery's or even Round Table or Abby's for a decent pizza. read more
