Gave me problems about not receiving my McChicken in the drive thrj. They said I had to have a receipt but I didn't get one. Eventually, got it but I was put thru the wringer to get it!! I went inside because the drive thru was long and i ordered on the kiosk and it took over 30 minutes to get TWO HAPPY MEALS and then they forgot the kids toys and I had to go back inside only to be met with an eye roll and they gave me 2 old kids toys not the new fifa ones and not even a "sorry" and they barley filled the fries and forgot the dipping sauce after 30 minutes. And when I got inside there was nobody else waiting for food. Doordash drivers kept coming in after me and getting their food first. Do yourself a favor and drive further down the road. read more

No real issue with the location itself. Just need to make it known that this new shake is absolutely, horrendously disgusting. We were given the new Mt Mcdonaldland Shake for free since they accidentally made an extra. Very kind of them. However... We were a bit skeptical based on the color of the shake as well as the taste of the nasty whipped cream, that might i add, tasted expired. The shake itself, i cannot even describe how sickening this horrible shake is. Mcdonalds, please if you see this, stop making weird ass new menu items. I've been waiting for 45 minutes in their drive thru to buy two McDoubles and a small fry. I have to pay cash because they've told me that's all they can take right now. 45 minutes for McDonald's. This is like communist Russia, I can't believe they're holding their customers hostage in the drive thru line like this. That's NOT okay. I felt really bad for the tiny dark haired girl working there this morning (10/19/24 @ 1030am). It was shocking, actually. The owner of this location needs to step up & step in. Apparently we should have checked reviews before coming here. Ordered 20 piece nuggets and fries. Asked for BBQ, buffalo, and ketchup. They gave us one BBQ, one buffalo, and 2 ketchups for all that food.... We are now eating dry nuggets in the car. This is by far my first choice of McDonald's, they're consistent with their accuracy and freshness in their food and beverages. I really appreciate Hope, she is the sweetest girl who always greets me with a friendly face. I notice some of the newer people have really improved. I've noticed that the morning crew is usually fast, I say usually because nowhere can be perfect, but also I see a lot of customers who take longer to order than it takes to make the food. I've had some mistakes happen but they were fixed promptly. I truly appreciate good service, it's part of the entire experience. If I go somewhere where the foods great but the service is awful, I wouldn't want to go back. Just like if the food were crap and the service were great, I wouldn't want to return either. If you love rolling the dice so you can experience the thrill of victory or the agony of defeat, this McDonald's may be your ticket to cheap thrills. While over half of my experiences have been unworthy of mention, there is usually something interesting happening - wrong orders are often comically incorrect, and once a nameless night drive-thru denzien became vocally surly when I had regretfully mentioned waiting for 15 minutes while she chatted with her friends in the car at the window. Great place to get a "whatever they end up putting in the bag" while watching drunk teenagers relieve themselves on the dumpster. Right now, the 150 calorie low fat soft serve cone is only 50 cents!! It's some unadvertised Summer special that they are running. For this price I can come here every day and get a cone and it's cheaper than a Drumstick! The staff at 5090 Commercial St SE Salem, OR 97306 have a complete disregard for their customers time. I waited in line for over 40 minites for 2 sundaes. When i got to the window there were 5 staff members standing around talking to each other and to the manager who was showing them something on his cell phone which they were laughing about. They didn't greet me and my ice cream was just sitting on the counter I had to finally yell to someone inside to just hand me my ice cream. I asked to talk to the manager he looked over at me guiltily and then grabbed the restaurant phone acting like he was on it. He came to the window continuing with the ruse and had the phone on his ear. By far the most inefficient McDonalds I have ever been to. There is another McDonalds about a mile down the same road and I will drive to that one before going to this place. Everything here is off. The menu doesn't always reflect what they charge for items. They are slow as molasses. They always have cars stacked up in the drive through.
