It my problem if she did not heard it, we ask for something they got to do it, but she says no, she will charge everything separated not as a combo, And half 70% of the time you ask them for some kind of sauce , ask them right in front of their face , all they say it will be in the bag and they put nothing , also many times you. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! Why doesn't yelp have an option for 0 stars?? This place is absolute garbage! Arrived in the drive thru at 12:20am, didn't get my food for another hour(1:20am). While at the window, the employees did not acknowledge me nor did they take my payment method. After 5 minutes of sitting at the window, some guy finally opened it to take my payment. Another 5 minutes and I finally see them preparing my food/drink. As the employee walked towards the window, another employee and him decide to have a conversation. So my food gets set to the side, both employees talk for about 5 minutes. And finally after they finish their IMPORTANT conversation, He finally gave me my food. You would think after an hour wait at a MCDONALDS they would atleast get the order correct. But of course they got my order wrong, and forgot my large fries. DO NOT EAT HERE, unless you want to wait an hour to receive the incorrect order, and be treated as if you aren't even there by the employees. This McDonald's is horrible. As i am writing this review I have been waiting in the drive through for literally 30 minutes and still haven't received my food. I don't understand what is taking the employees so long to get people their orders. This is a frustratingly poor example of "fast food". Tell your employees to gain a sense of urgency. I drove through for a door dash order and it took me over an hour to get through. The way that the drive thru is pretty messed up. When it is busy the people in the outside lane block the other lane from going. I had 4 cars form an unbreakable chain preventing me from moving. I just had the worst experience at this McDonald's! We had gotten there at 12:28 AM and got in line behind a car that was at the menu waiting to order. Two cars pulled up in the other line behind a car that was at the menu ordering and they had taken all 3 of their order in that line before taking the order from the car in front of us. There was 8 cars total in front of us and took us until 1:12 AM to get our food and leave. When we got to the window the guy taking orders kept going to the monitor that had the cameras and was acting like he was doing something on it. A girl stopped making food to come make a drink and sip on it while staring at us and didn't wash her hands before getting back on the line. Took 8 minutes to get our food when we got up to the window. I had ordered two burger and two fries! A total of 45 minutes from start to finish. 31 minutes this far I have been sitting here for curbside pickup. Eight customers orders have came and gone as I sit here. First time I snagged someone going back inside from taking an order out her told me nobody put nuggets down til right then but they are on it now. This time someone came out to leave their shift and told the guy next to me how long til his order was going to be done. I put my window down and he says to me idk how long til yours is done but have a good night anyway. Like is this guy serious? Is this the type of people working in "customer service" or hospitality or food service. I mean seriously. It's now been 38 minutes and three more people have came and went with items. I literally ordered a nugget, a fry and 2 McChicken sandwiches. That's all. This is not the first issue and I am empathetic to it being a holiday. To it being stressful with a lack of workers at times. It's just about service in the midst of all that and communication. 40 minutes now. I shall now track someone down and get my money back and go across the street. I've been patient long enough and people working here have shown nothing of an effort or attempt. Very sad to tell my kiddos we won't be eating here ever again. Update: it took a total of 57 mins to get a four item curbside order. Unfortunately, the fries had definitely been sitting for a while and the McChicken had gotten a little on the gross side. The nuggets were all a different temperature. They offered me no refund, no sorry for the wait or mistake or whatever. Mcdonalds in Salem @ 5090 Commercial is older McDonald's on a main drag in an industrial area of Salem. There is a Redbox right outside should you want to grab a movie with your food. Smart. The deal is the 1.00 drinks any size right now. They serve coke products. Another deal right now is buy one get one free on any McCafe Drink 2-5pm daily which Includes Iced coffee, shakes, smoothies. This place is an ok McDonalds just needs some modernization. It is easy in and out although crowded at times and right off highway in front of dollar tree. I bumped them to four stars for clean restrooms with PAPERTOWELS - you don't see paper towels much at McD's that much anymore. read more

am a 40 yr old male, life is pretty good for the most part, I plan, I save, I raise my kids and enjoy the fruits of my labor. As a result I'm a pretty easy going guy. Rarely do I feel outraged. In fact, with outrage being the go to status for anyone even slightly disappointed, it typically disgusts me to identify or witness others outraged. But, tonight, I felt rage towards this McDonalds, the people running it and the series of poor management, adherence to standards and general understanding of service. How, with the job being to safely provide food for money, can it take 40 mins to get a chicken sandwich? Surely there are many circumstances that could cause a delay, but then why, after sucking 40 mins of life out of my daughter and I plus the 20 cars behind us, can the food be worse than horrible? Even my 8 yr old was able to articulate bafflement and sincere how it's not a crime to trap you for 40 mins in a drive through, take your money and not at least provide their product to specs. The "new" chicken sandwich, nuggets and fries tasted exactly as though it was made 3 days ago, sat under a heat lamp, then microwaved too long (including lettuce) then allowed to become cold before serving. The milk was great. They nailed the bottle of milk. This alone would not be enough to throw me into rage, or even enough to inspire review. No, it's the fact that, and I know, why keep going back?, that this has literally occurred 5/5 times we've gone there after late night swims just down the road. I suppose it's the confidence that it's just not possible for it to happen again, it's not the McDonald way. Like Starbucks, it's not the best food, but it's consistent, that's why it's a multi billion dollar American company. This location, somehow, has failed utterly and completely at every possible necessary objective: be safe, be courteous, be accurate, be consistent, be timely, taste good. This is a true story: one night, like the others, we arrived around 9 or10pm, we waited in a line for around 20 mins just to get to the order window, the employee said "welcome to McDonalds, just so you know it could be about 1 hr before you get your food, I'm the only one here and no one else is coming, we had 2 no shows and no one available... I went to this location for a late night snack at about 1:30am and wanted to order a Grilled Chicken Snack Wrap and they told me that they do not serve that item during the late night. I then asked for a Fried Snack Wrap and they said that they do not serve that item either. They said the only chicken that they serve at that time is McChicken Sandwich or McNuggets. I then asked to order a Egg McMuffin and they said that they could not serve that as well because their toaster was out of service. I ended up ordering a Oatmeal with success and left unsatisfied. This McD's is the closest to my home, and I've given them many chances but will not go back. A few months ago I went to the drive-thru and after a long wait ordered a kid's meal. When I got home I opened the box and found nothing but the hamburger, and that was so dry and charred it was inedible. I called to complain, and the manager said she would send me a certificate for a free Happy Meal. She never did. I filled out the online questionnaire and heard nothing back from them either. I stayed away from this location for three months but tried again a few nights ago. The wait at the drive-thru was again over 15 minutes, and the hamburger patty had raw patches throughout. The employees have always been polite, and I love McD's iced mocha, but this location is absolutely the slowest I have ever been to, (and that's a lot of them since I used to be a mystery shopper and rated many). And they clearly can't even cook a hamburger patty properly. If I must go to a McD's, I will drive out of my way. Avoid this one! read more
