I was disappointed in this place, They were a bit busy and was rushing making the pizza. I asked for extra sauce and didn't get much more. Very chintzy on the toppings. I hate chintzy pizza places! Got a pepperoni and olive pizza, not much pepperoni and hardly any olives, I asked the employee for more olive and didn't get much more, the employee didn't even care about serving a chintzy pizza. To top it off, we had a party of 4 and was about to sit down, and an employee told us we couldn't sit at that table because the table was for a party with 5 or 6 people. This is a fast food place with no assigned seating or hostess to seat you. There was no reserve sign on the table. The employee told us to sit at a table with higher chairs but we had a small child who could not sit there. So we just sat outside. It was delicious!I literally make a garden on pesto sauce and not sorry about it! Just love the variety of toppings here. For a corporate taste, I know what to expect each time I come. I ordered a pizza online and when I arrived at the time it was supposed to be ready, it hadn't been made yet. They were not especially busy. I waited for about 25 mins before asking for a refund instead and then it was magically ready. The pizza was not great. But what really stood out to me was how rude the employees were. I watched them being very rude to a group of 7 young men. It worries me that my teenager will be treated the same way when alone or with friends. Definitely five star review. The staff love what they do. Austin takes time to make the pizzas thoroughly, spreading the ingredients, like an artist, and he still got us through quick. Mika went over and above to check on the ingredients specifically for me. There are so many of these types of design-your-own fast pizza places, so I was certainly familiar with the concept--and that, in fact, made it easy for me to choose MOD pizza to eat. I like that you can pick and choose your toppings, but I also like the they have some pre-selected combinations. People like the concept of choice, but convenience often wins. After perusing the menu, I went with the Jasper Mod (11" size). The server whipped it together, the oven person slides it with the peel and it's done a matter of minutes. The crust is almost like a cracker but the sauce sort of softens it enough where you can't really pick up a slice to eat. The taste was fairly good, with a good balance in toppings. I thought the sauce was on the salty side, but I guess that's how most American pizzas are. The reason I didn't give more stars is the texture I mentioned. After the third slice, I gave up trying to eat it like a human being. All the cheese, sauce and topping slid off into the center of the plate. The crust was too fragile to roll up or fold in half like you would in New York. I just ate the crust with one hand and used a utensil to scoop up the fallen toppings with the other hand. i love the pizza from here so much. ive gone a couple of times and it's been amazing. i highly recommend not coming here around dinner time. if there is a line, do not go. the service is usually wonderful during off-peak. today i went by with a large order by their app. the food was amazing but they missed our no name cakes. i called and spoke to who i assume is the manager on duty. ive met her before and she's really sweet, and was just the same on the phone. she asked if i could come by and they'd give me the cakes. i drove 20 minutes and when i got there... disaster. the line was wrapped around the inside of the restaurant. i stood by the register waiting for someone to come by. then the manager and a team member came to the register and a random customer jumps in front of me and leans over the register. she starts complaining about something (i wasn't listening). after she leaves i start talking to the manager letting her know i called to pickup my cakes and she turns around and walks away. i was confused. the team member that was with the manager earlier comes back to the register and i let her know i called for the cakes, i show her my receipt, she apologizes for the wait and she informs me that she had just clocked in so she wasn't aware of my call. she gives my the cakes and i thank her and wish her a great day. the food is awesome. the pizza is always so good. i did get food poisoning two months ago (terrible diarrhea for days) from here. otherwise it's good. please do not come here during peak hours, you'll be met with terrible service. lunch time has been ok the times ive came. read more

I've always, always, ALWAYS been a huge fan of MOD! There's something about their food that's so different than any other pizza joint, thus this being the reason it's my go-to place! I've been on a MOD binge lately (I know, I know --I shouldn't be eating here two days in a row but mind your business, please!) and I've been lucky enough to be served by Jessica. Every time my mother and I come, we have great, genuine conversations while she works on our order(s); Jessica always has an awesome attitude and not to mention that she does her work quick and effectively! There is zero sense of urgency from the workers in this place. Everytime I come here the line is always held up because the workers like to take their sweet time on making the food. There is also never a cashier, and the workers just nonchalantly let the customers take the receipt from the printer because no one is there doing their job. Horrible service from Mika. She gave attitude about scanning rewards QR code. Mind you this was our First time using the rewards and we did not know that the customers had to scan the code themselves with the scanner to receive points & rewards we thought we just had to show it to the employee. (btw I was super happy because we where getting a free no name cake) Than when we did scan it she said very rudely item not found and that's when my bf showed her the barcode again and she again aggressively said if you want the no name cake you need to say that so I can input the correct section! We were fathom that she was speaking to us so aggressively simply just because we didn't do the scanning thing correctly/ourselves. Then she went on to speak ill of us to her employees on how we didn't know how to scan the code and that it was not her problem and many more things . My wife & I were craving Mod Pizza as we had not been there for sometime due to an illness. We both ordered our pizza's and the service was great. The same girl that made our pizza's put my wife's in the oven and mine on a holding platter. She was working by her self and returned to making pizza's for waiting customers. A heavy set Hispanic girl came from the back to ring me up. At that time I asked her if she could put my pizza in the oven so that both pizza's would hopefully be done at the same time so we could eat together. She immediately got a bad attitude and with inflection in her voice said "I will do what I am doing and then I will get to that". I said ok then, and she rang up our total and gave me a drink cup we had ordered. I got our drink and returned to the Puzza waiting area, she called out my wife's name. I said I will pick it up for her. She handed me a receipt and said, "I refunded your pizzas and I am not going to serve you". I said your kidding & why? Idk what's happened in the last months since I've been here, but customer service kinda sucks. Went to evening shift on Saturday October 29. We went in line, and there was a lady handling the order line at 7:30 who was taking people's orders and giving a lecture at the same time. She lectured the Latino family in front of me on making the order as a family and not separate... or something to that effect. Super awkward, we could all hear it, and I felt so bad bc they just wanted to enjoy a family meal... my turn in line, I then ordered the value meal and read it wrong to mean a pizza and salad plus drink, turned out it was pizza OR salad plus drink, and she did not hesitate to correct me LOUDLY. Later at the cash register, I forgot again because during the long line I had that narrative in my head, and the cashier, who was nice, forgot to ring me up for my salad, and I mentioned the value meal, and another worker, mentioned "we already explained it to her" again, quite loudly and with a tone. My niece and I were just trying to have a nice night together, and it's workers like these that just bring such negativity to an environment. These two workers I recognize as having worked here a long time. How they still treat people like this is beyond me. Would explain the exasperated faces some of the workers have- reminds me of when I worked in a toxic environment... Will go to Pieology, they're consistently nicer there... This was my first time trying this Seattle chain in California! The friendly and fast service is consistent across state lines, even during peak dinner hour on the weekend. There are a lot of customization options, so there is definitely something for everyone. The pizza tasted great: the ingredients were very fresh and perfectly cooked. I will never be back to this location. There was a long line with 1 employee making the pizzas. In the meantime, they prioritized online orders ahead of customers who took the time to come in person to spend their money. This is a poor customer service model. I instead went across the way to Chipotle, and they had 4 employees working the line, and we got through in a flash! They have a separate area for online orders to avoid slowing down in person orders. That's the way to do it. read more
