Yummy! We had to wait a little in line but worth it and once ordered our pizzas came out super fast!!! I loved the flavors and fresh ingredients. this was my first time at this pizza location. Everyone was super friendly walking in. The wait time to order was actually longer than the cook time for the pizza. The store was clean. The pizza was actually better than what I was expecting. I would be back and I would definitely order this pizza again. It was thin and crispy and had quite a bit of flavor. This is difficult. My wife and I ordered a delivery - pizza, salad, drink. It was delivered and the food is delicious. BUT, BUT, BUT...no plasticware. When I called to ask why we didn't get a fork or anything we were told it wasn't on the order. Apparently you have to order a fork! Now, $52 for a pizza, salad, dessert, pop and no fork is absolutely ridiculous! Don't ever need to go back and be told too bad you cannot eat because you didn't "order a fork". Order a fork? I was craving pizza and I was in the Redlands area so decided to come. MOD means Made On Demand if you like to know what the name stands for. They have a new creation that are launching the " Pocket Pies". They are individually sized handmade dough filled with ingredients then oven-fired then folded for a handheld , on-the-go experience. This MOD pizza location is a solid choice for lunch. I added fig balsamic dressing and fresh arugula to my pizza and it tasted like it was from a formal sit down restaurant! The service from the female Black manager is what brings this location to 5-stars. She makes sure you're well taken care of and has a great charismatic personality. We have been here to many times to recall now. But what I will say is every time I go it always good food and good service. The only down side is the wait time some nights. One night, even in a Tuesday the end of the line was at the door and they only had one person behind there counter making the pizzas and salad, when I saw several others back there just "wiping" down the counter and socializing and laughing. I took a picture of the pizza I got from our most recent visit a week before Christmas. I did an order pick up and it wasn't bad. Overall I recommend. You can also order a salad instead of a pizza. Service is great. The workers were making sure seating was for paying guests only. They were asking others to leave. Of all of the pizza chain places like this one, MOD consistently has the best gluten-free crust and dairy free cheese that I've ever had (at every MOD location I've been to vs every location I've been to for Pieology, Blaze, etc). They also seem to have a lot more toppings than any other build your own pizza place. Employees were friendly, attentive, and efficient. Also, the bathroom was clean. It's interesting to visit their about us page. True to its service mission, our order was processed very quickly. The staff was quick and efficient. We just beat the lunch-time rush and were glad; it appears this place can get quite busy. It is located in the center of Mountain Plaza shopping center, so anticipate that parking will be a battle as well as the better outdoor patio dining tables. We started with the Italian Chopped salad, which you can see in my pic that all the ingredients are fresh. It had a nice mix of greens with salami and parmesan cheese. The salami was the thick cut version and had a mild flavor. We ordered the zesty roma dressing on the side - there is enough flavors in the dressing that it could be used sparingly. The dressing had plenty of flavor but wasn't that zesty. Overall, it was the right proportions of ingredients. The Mad Dog pizza wasn't so mad. The crust is very thin, and when hot, it's best to eat with a fork since the crust isn't thick enough to hold up. But once the pizza starts to cool you can fold it in half and it's very easy to eat. The cheese is nice and gooey, the sausage and pepperoni were plentiful and flavorful. The description says its mild sausage; I found this to be understated, there is plenty of flavor and the right amount of heat. These items appear to be pre-portioned and cooked. Overall, it was a good pizza. We really enjoyed the outdoor dining area. The water feature/brook created the right amount of white noise to partially offset the shopping noise. Staff here is RUDE. No one was rude to me directly, however, my order was taken by a man who seemed to have a cognitive impairment. I waited in line for quite a while and I was frustrated, but once I observed the situation I didn't mind. Ordering my pizza took a little over 15 minutes and I could tell the employee was really struggling; with names, conversation, remembering which toppings I had ordered, motor function, etc.,. I had patience for him, however, I did NOT have patience for his coworkers. Rather than offering help, they berated him and made fun of him behind his back while he was making other orders. There was only one coworker (a girl with a face mole and braces) that exuded patience with him and helped where she could. I came in during rush-hour, and once I observed the behaviors from all of the employees, I became really frustrated with the situation. Whether or not he has a cognitive impairment, he was still taking a considerably long time filling orders. If they were so frustrated with his pace, they could have removed him from that position and put someone else in his place. Instead, they made fun of him and made passive comments. For example, when he was taking my order he asked if I want any sauces (like ranch). I misunderstood the question and said no because I thought it would go on top of the pizza. When I went to pick up the pizza, I asked the lady at the cutting board for ranch (who just made an announcement to the staff to ask customers if they want sauce before hand so that way "it's ready,"). Upon request, the lady at the cutting board spun around and glared at the guy who took our order, shooting him a dirty look. When she turned back around to me, she rolled her eyes and handed me the ranch. As if the 4 seconds it takes to grab a ranch when I grab the pizza really makes a difference. Little did she know that it was my mistake because I misunderstood the sauce question from the start. SO MEAN. As I was eating my pizza, I continued to observe the behaviors from the employees towards the man who took my order. Two younger guys, no older than 25 years old, were laughing at him behind his back while he was struggling to make another order. Thank you to the ONE employee that laughed WITH him (not at him) and helped him where she could. To the rest of you, I observed ignorance and outright meanness. You should be ashamed by your attitudes. So much for inclusivity. I wish I would've said something while I was there, but I was so angry that I don't know what I would have said. I hope that someone sees this, because what I witnessed was disgusting and despicable. The employees must think that customers don't notice how they act, but I promise you they do. He put wayyyy too much sauce, not enough slices of ham, and worst of all i asked for cucumber and im not even lying and I wish i was exaggerating, he only put 3 pieces of cucumber... i didn't even get a whole slice of a cucumber! Had a bad experience at this location. I will say the younger girl and gentleman up front were nice and helpful. There was a older black woman who was incredibly rude. While waiting for my pizzas, which took nearly 30 minutes, I asked for cups for water. The woman said she was too busy to get them because she was "making pizzas." This place runs like a well-oiled machine. The team here are so friendly and patient. They do not rush you and take their time with every order in a way that makes you feel catered to. The food is delicious as well and tastes so fresh. I also think the prices are super reasonable. For 2 dollars more, you get a pizza that is 5 inches bigger! I usually get a salad, and as I mentioned, the ingredients are fresh. I also enjoy seeing the team interact with their manager. Staffing! And if staffing could give customers a heads up when fountain drinks are out and lemonade needs to be refilled before purchasing. Purchased a drink and staff kept saying they would fix/refill fountain and lemonade drinks. Pizza getting cold had to ask for refund for drink. To make my experience even more special, the pizza I received was Dominic when I asked for Dillon James! Didn't expect anything more than what I paid for and that was too much for this place!
