FYI for military and retired military- So we went in Aug 17 about 530pm We usually go to the Mckinney area MOD pizza. They are very friendly. We happened to be in the 380/423 area and decided to have pizza. We ordered, husband asked for the military discount which we usually receive. We got to the table and the discount was 27cents ? So I went up to the counter and asked to talk with the manager, so a young man came over and I told him we only got 27 cents off usually 10%. For military. (Which would of been about 3.70). The manager said " we don't have to give you anything off" we only do police and firefighters! We just do military if you ask. I said well we asked. He said well there is nothing I can do. The cashier did it wrong sorry" - he turned and left to what he was doing. So for all military people MOD is not inclined to give a military discount at the 380 /423 store ! And the cashier doesn't know how to give the discounts. When Mckinney stores missed the discount they took care of us or did something special! read more

Zero bad experience here. We've been here several times with friends and just us as a couple. This may be a chain pizza joint, but it sure doesn't taste like it. You can design your own pizza here or order from the menu. Both options have been delicious without a doubt, so you should be happy with whatever you decide to do. The cheesy garlic bread is good, but you might as well design your own pizza with loads of cheese,etc. The dessert though is great, but I do wish there were more options. I absolutely love the cinnamon sticks in particular. Great drink choices too! My only desire is for this place to bring a deeper dish pizza option to the table. They do have a thicker option, but it's just a second pizza on top of the other, (which sounds like a lot, but the pies here pretty thin). The service here is consistently on point. Wow! Finally , a pizza place that is excellent. If you have ever been to the places that let you make the pizza ( pick out ingredients), you need to try this place. Why ? You might ask. This place is so good, high quality ingredients. In fact it was so good I had to look up the ownership. In my mind there was no way someone took a hit at make it yourself pizza and did this well without tremendous experience. Turns out this ownership owed Seattle Coffee company , sold it for $90 million to Starbucks They are apparently a big Company. They started in the Pacific Northwest and they've made their way down through Texas now they're starting to sprinkle a number of locations very strategically across the metroplex In other words they're not putting them five blocks from each other saturating the market odds are in a number of years you'll know who these people are if you already don't This is hands-down the best pizza restaurant you're going to go to that in my opinion is a quick serve restaurant in that I mean that you can pick a number of already pre-planned designed pizzas all made fresh in front of you or you can select the type of dough that you want all of the toppings that you're interested in and I'll cook the pizza now the quality of the cooking of the pizza and the overall quality of their ingredients is higher and then a restaurant similar to this that has the food ready when you're checking out that's not how this place works well call your number or your name when your food is ready but the quality of the food Hands-down is better than any other competitor in this genre of restaurants and I'm specifically speaking about a restaurant that you don't sit down and place your order with the waitress you walk in you pick out your crust you pick out the pizza you want they put it together Fresh they cook it you get your drinks you sit down and you wait for them to call your number if there's any competitors like that when you've been to them you know what I'm talking about this place and it's quality is no comparison this place is a high-end restaurant and it's genre I was blown away quite frankly I expected an average pizza from an average place like this but you will be shocked and you will be pleasantly surprised I did not type this review out I spoke into my phone therefore please ignore any grammatical or punctuation and or spelling errors thank you read more

It is pretty good, i got lucky and there were only a few people in line in front of me. I did a build your own pizza. The cheese guy was a little light handed, i had to ask him 3 times for full coverage of mottzerella, apparently large bare areas of sauce are what they are trained to start with. The meat/veggie guy was on point, he did a great job. The cashier/finisher were both great. Overall, they are pretty good but they dont offer as many toppings as similar resturants in the area. If they added 3 more cheeses and more veggies they would earn the next star. Great place for kids read more

I find the atmosphere here weird. The employees are way too talkative. I know the founders are from Starbucks or something and probably make these awkward social experiences mandatory but I would prefer to just make my pizza and move on. I must say it was my first time here and I already love it. You can build your own or just get one off the wall such as, Maddy, or Triston type of pizza. Food is great and quick! It satisfies that pizza craving without wasting time and money on a box of soggy goop. 100% would recommend. Great place to take kids on the cheap, make everyone happy, and mom and dad can sneak a can of wine and say it's "grown up Coke" I'd personally recommend the Caspian 10/10 BBQ pizza. Also, this staff man. So enthusiastic, super friendly and polite. You can tell they're genuinely having a pretty good time. Seems like a warm family. Tonight was our first time trying MOD Pizza. We went tonight during the dinner rush & it was extremely crowded & crazy loud- which was expected. Each employee was working really hard and fast at every station, but they were so focused that if you asked a question about the process, they wouldn't even reply. The atmosphere felt crazy & we felt super rushed & confused on some things. My husband forgot to ask for a side of ranch during the frantic assembly line, so when there was a window of opportunity, when no one was in front of the salad portion of the line, he went up 2 different times. The first time, the employees wouldn't even look up to see what he needed, so he came back to the table a little frustrated, but understanding that they were busy. The second time he went up to ask for ranch, one of the employees looked right at him, he asked for a side of ranch and the employee deliberately grabbed the next pizza that was down the line and completely ignored him. (My husband was noticeable- he had a bright red shirt on!) My husband came back to the table beyond frustrated that the employee was so rude to him! So I went to the same spot- 3 employees looked at me and I asked for ranch...I mean good grief- getting a side of ranch should not be this big of a deal!! One of the employees seemed irritated/annoyed and walked off to get to go sides of ranch (without letting me know what he was doing- I figured it out by watching him.) and another employee explained to me that I wasn't supposed to ask for ranch at that spot, but he'd let me have some this time. I told him it was our first time & apologized for disrupting the line (even though no one was at that spot at the moment), but I let him know that it was frustrating that no one would acknowledge my husband earlier to let him know. He apologized, but he wasn't even the person who had ignored my husband...the guy who had was right next to him & he looked up at me when I was explaining what had happened. Some people are just rude!! Being treated that way as new customers put a bad taste in our mouths before we even got to eat our pizzas. Once the food came out, it was hot & fresh, but just okay tasting. The crust was pretty burned, yet very soggy. The best part of the whole experience was the "no name cake" we ordered for dessert- it was delicious...but we took it home to eat because we couldn't get out of there fast enough. Went here once because I love good pizza. Have been at least once a week since that first visit. Three things I love about MOD Pizza. 1) It is inexpensive. Less than $9 for a good sized personal Pizza. 2) The abundance of toppings. You can get as many as you want for no additional charge. I go with Bacon, Pepperoni, and Spicey Sausage. You can also get a wide variety of vegetables and/or mushrooms. You can also get a few other kinds of cheese on top. 3) The service is fast. You walk through the line and tell them what all you want or you pick from one of their pre-designed options. They throw it in their pizza oven and then call your name. Usually no more than 7 minutes. A bonus is that they have a variety of dipping sauces. Ranch, of course, Siracha ranch, buffalo sauce just to name a few. Everyone there has always been super nice and helpful and the process is intuitive. The place is clean and the pizza is amazing. read more

Where to start? First in line today. First time to test this place out for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Waited for just under a half hour for pizza. They did not appear to have it all together. Looks like fresh ingredients but..... it just wasn't good. We didn't let anyone know. We would have but, the line was to the door. All I can say is something is off with their pizza. Went today for lunch, we each got a create your own pizza. The staff was great and very willing to help answer any questions we had. The end product was very good, crust had a good flavor and sauce and topping all very good quality. This was my first time to Mod pizza and had been to Blaze before. Both are very similar but I think the crust at Mod was much better than what I got at Blaze. The only problem we ran into was the price of a side salad. I asked the team member if a side salad was really $6.27 as the menu board said. They looked at me kind of funny and said yes it is. I saw the different sizes of salad bowls that were available and the small bowl for the side salad was not that big. If the price would have been $2.99 we both would have had salad but with the price of the side we decided we could skip it. The entree salad was only $8.27 which I think is reasonable for your lunch or dinner. We really liked what we had and am sure we will be back, also will tell others about it and encourage them to try also. read more

Two employees were arguing about something and not paying attention to the online orders. A third employee was eating.
