Kids bowl with chicken kebab.

I'm so glad we gave Hungry Platters another shot after a couple years. Delicious, fresh, flavorful food with very kind amd friendly service. Love the gluten free options also. Kefta was amazing and worth the 12min wait. Chicken kebab was flavorful and fresh grilled. Veggies were all crisp and sauces flavorful. Hummus and baba ganoush both delicious. Amd of course you can't beat both walnut and almond baklava. Wish I had taken photos of everything before we ate it all.

Hungry Platter with Basmati Rice Pilaf, Beef Gyro, Red Cabbage Slaw and Spicy Hummus

I used to love the food here, but things have changed quite a bit, and it's just not what it used to be. The consistency of the new recipes seems to change daily, and the portions on the platters have shrunk. Every time I go, the spicy/hummus, jalapeño feta and potatoes taste different. Besides that, things are clean, the employees are always friendly, and the loaded fries are still delicious.

New owners are so lovely and the food is so good (and very fresh)! Wow!!!! I had leftovers that I was thrilled to eat the next day. I ordered the platter and got 2 types of meat--really wanted to try a variety. The eggplant tomato dish is insanely good!!!! Baba ganoush and the meats were amazing. I wish I lived closer, because I'd go every week. Perfect Greek casual dining spot and great customer experience.

Salad bowl- tasted good but no salad really

We ordered the beef and chicken platter: The rice was flavorless and the meat was tasteless , the only saving grace in the platter is the Babaghanoush, they gave us babaghanoush when we asked for spicy hummus in the platter And the falafel salad bowl: the bowl didnt have much of salad, just some lettuce cut up small with dried seasoning, the babaghanoush and falafel were really good- the best we have had so far,the potatoes were alright If they improved their portion sizes versus prices and the flavors on the meats and rice , I would frequent this place, we drove 10 miles to try this place but were disappointed

Beef & Lamb Gyro platter

Everything was bad quality- ordered a platter with beef/lamb gyro- the meat was dry and some pieces were hard- almost inedible. The topping feta tasted store bought and not authentic. The base of "lemon potatoes" were so heavily lemon flavored that you can't eat more than a bite or so. The side "Greek salad" is just lettuce with a small sprinkling of tomato and maybe one red onion- no feta, olives, or dressing?! You can't call that a salad, let alone Greek salad. The baba ganoush was ok but served without any pita- so are we supposed to eat it with a spoon? You know it's bad when you can't even finish the meal. Waste of money.

I love this place and its service. It's my go-to in Dallas. Make sure you try the baklava!

Looking for something new to try in north Dallas we stumbled upon Platia Greek Kouzina in Frisco…read morejust across for the Stonebriar mall. Given it was 12:30pm we were happy to see this place was quite full but still had a table for the 2 of us inside. There is a terrace which might be an option for our next visit. Yea you read that right, we will definitely be back. For lunch we ordered the octopus appetizer which was nice a tender, perfectly grilled and simply served with the most perfect vinaigrette. Nothing more than a little squeeze of lemon over it and you could have brought me a dozen more. But we had to save room for our mains. I chose the gyros salad and my wife the baked haddock with Greek potatoes and string beans. Both dishes were perfect. Not too fancy and just what the doctor ordered. Overheard several tables around us that they were repeat customers so we must have stumbled on to something good. So if you are thinking Greek, check this place out. You won't be disappointed

We enjoyed Platia tonight! I haven't had much Greek food, so it was a fun experience trying…read moresomething different. I ordered the Pastitsio with potatoes and gigantes. The main dish just wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't because it wasn't well made, it was more of a texture preference for me. The potatoes were a little overcooked for my liking, although a friend at our table said his were great. I did, however, love the gigantes! Our table also shared the Trio of Dips (tirokafteri, hummus, and skordalia), the moussaka, the Brazilian steak, and the Aegean stuffed pepper. The tirokafteri and hummus were both delicious. The skordalia wasn't for me, but that's simply because it's essentially a chilled potato dip, not a reflection of the restaurant. The Brazilian steak was fantastic, great flavor and cooked perfectly. The stuffed pepper and moussaka also got a thumbs-up from our group. I believe our server's name was Uli, and he was good. He took the time to explain several dishes. Greek food probably isn't at the top of my personal favorites list, but this one was ok.
