This place is fairly new to the area, and it was recommended to us by the A/C technician that came to our house. This place is a bigger and better Pie Five. You get more bang for your buck and the flavors are incredible. We ordered 2 build your own pizzas and the cheesy bread with pesto sauce. While I was there they accidentally made an extra pizza, they offered it to me at no charge! This style pizza isn't just for the thin crust lovers but there is also a double crust option that is for the people that like more of a pan crust. In addition to the great tasting food the service was amazing also. We will for sure be back to visit Mod Pizza. read more

I left a 5 star review a year ago... this place just gets worse!! Thought I'd give them another chance but as expected totally disappointed!!! The teenagers up front were totally unprofessional.. the girl who made my pizza barely put any sauce or toppings on. Then it took 40 minutes to get my pizza.. while waiting I observed two of the workers eating behind the counter and NOT WASHING THEIR HANDS!!! No one had on gloves!! I will not be back. read more

Excellent customer service. They were very friendly and explained the process in seriously the politest way possible. The No Name Cake is amazing! If you love ding dongs, try the No Name Cake! Location has went downhill since opening. Ordered 15 minutes ahead of arriving. When I arrived only 2 people eating in dining room with no one in line. 7 teens working, all with ear buds in and place was trashed. I had to tell them about my order which was printed but never started. It been a fast decline here with no sign of improvement. I love Mod pizza and have been here many times. Let me start off by saying the pizza was fantastic today. But as we waited in line we watched every customer ask for a topping, watch the employee put on as little as possible, and everyone asking "can you put on a little more". When I got up to the counter and asked for mozzarella cheese, the employee carefully measured a small ladle and the proceeded to grab half of it in his hands to spread over the pizza. After asking to put on cheese three more times, I finally had the crust covered and then proceeded with my battle for toppings. Well I gave this locations break and went to the newer one they finished with Tim the last year and my orders looked like crap so I decided to try this location one more time before I swear MOD off all together. And let's just say they did not disappoint in terms of garbage service and a very very sh%##y pizza. I asked for extra cheese, for very little cheese The pizza had more popped bubbles than a child's birthday party and then the person cutting the pizzas told me it can't be helped. Well try perforating it first. So I tell you all that to tell you I got a refund and I'm deleting the app and not returning to any MOD location. What happened to this place? This place was so nicely managed and the people who worked there actually cared. We sat here watching our pizza sitting on the counter getting cold (not in a box) while the gal was doing what I don't know what she was doing? The floor was a mess. I don't remember this Mod Pizza to be this unkept. My friend just visited this place last week and said she would never come back here again because it took FOREVER to get her pizza and no one else was waiting. Of corse I found MOD on yelp over all it was pretty good the only issue was one of the employees on the pizza making line. When you try rushing a difficult order with lots of items it's probably a good time to slow down instead she continued to try and rush putting items not even asked for and then when I was correcting her became rude not only is it marked on the paper I was standing there telling her she was making a mistake and a big one she kept wanting to put ham and we are a no pork family and then instead of starting over again she just picked what she could of the ham off and continued sharing with my sister one pizza who now refused to eat it because she felt pork was still on it!! The grand opening is today. I was not one of the first 52, but the pizza's are only $7. Great price for unlimited toppings. I dont really like a ton of stuff on my pizza, so I just asked for extra pepperoni, extra cheese, and jalapenos. It was perfect, and so fast. The employees are nice, and very upbeat. It was loud inside, but there were alot of people, and loud music. I live close, so I just took mine to go. Great for loud kids. lol! They have shakes that looked amazing. I will try one next time. I did try their homemade ding dongs though. It was so good, extra chocolatey, would be great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. They also have salads, and beer. read more

Worst customer service ever. Wish I could give them 0 stars. I will put my review on every site I use. Awful, and I mean AWFUL customer service. They did not give a hoot about us not receiving our pizza. We ordered pizza on 12/27, got a text message that it was delivered, and it never was. We went back and forth with Madeline from the call center and the actual store, and no one cared at all that our food was not delivered, I'm fact, they acted like it was a normal occurrence. The excuses were endless and we just wanted our pizza. Customer service was the worst at both the call center and the Prosper location. I will never ever order from here again and I will make sure everyone I know never gives them a dime of their money. There are so many pizza places in the area that have great reviews, I am appalled that this place is still in business. I never wish bad on any business, but this place needs to go. Madeline in the call center is the worst of the worst. MOD pizza in Prosper is not worth a $1. Please, I highly suggest you order from a place that cares. Do not recommend! When I first walked in I ordered a pizza and salad, just something simple. The food took about 30 minutes, while the workers there seemed to be college students and teenagers goofing off. I watched as my pizza sat on the counter meanwhile the workers were gossiping about who knows what. When I finally got my order, the salad was wrong and the pizza was nasty. Crust was very soft as if it was undercooked. The drinks were even flat and just tasted like partially carbonated water. How can you mess up drinks? It was very awkward in there as it was mainly empty and you had to sit there for 30 minutes waiting for your undercooked pizza and salad when it wasn't even busy. Food gave me the shits. Tried this place out last night, I love the concept of building your own pizza. The dough was nice and thin with a good char and crisp to it. Was really fast due to their fire oven. Flavors were great, staff was very informative as well. They offer a few beers and wines in bottles and cans, and very few on draft. It's arguable one of the best pizzas in Texas though. Not only is the pizza delicious and the toppings are about as fresh as picking them out of a garden, but their staff is top of the line. They are always super friendly and extremely generous with the helpings. They have no problems with special requests like wanting the crust extra crispy or double cut, or ranch all over the pizza. The pizza was tasty. Giving this place 3 stars because the salad was so dry I couldn't even finish it. I honestly think they forgot to put dressing and I couldn't do anything about it because it was a to-go order. Additionally, the greens were a little wilted and didn't taste fresh. FYI for military and retired military- So we went in Aug 17 about 530pm We usually go to the Mckinney area MOD pizza. They are very friendly. We happened to be in the 380/423 area and decided to have pizza. We ordered, husband asked for the military discount which we usually receive. We got to the table and the discount was 27cents ? So I went up to the counter and asked to talk with the manager, so a young man came over and I told him we only got 27 cents off usually 10%. For military. (Which would of been about 3.70). The manager said " we don't have to give you anything off" we only do police and firefighters! We just do military if you ask. I said well we asked. He said well there is nothing I can do. The cashier did it wrong sorry" - he turned and left to what he was doing. So for all military people MOD is not inclined to give a military discount at the 380 /423 store ! And the cashier doesn't know how to give the discounts. When Mckinney stores missed the discount they took care of us or did something special! read more
