2025 - Yelp 100 Challenge- #76 Delicious pizza located in near Frisco Square. Pizzas can be shared or they can be consumed individually. My favorite is their oil based cheese pizza (white pizza) and arugula salad. Our server was friendly and offer great suggestions on different menu items. This cozy Pizzeria gets busy fast so go early or book a reservation to sure you don't have a long wait.

Great pizza. Decent service. We ordered some wine and a pizza and the bartender seemed to be giving us a hard time for not ordering more food. The pizza is not an individual size, enough for 2-3 people.

The pizza was fresh and the crust was good. The Aperol spritz was perfect and well balanced. Salad was refreshing. Service was quick, straight to the point

I've been coming to this place for many years and throughout the years, it has stayed very consistent. The vibes of the place are very charming and authentic to make for a great date night spot, catching up with friends, or just bringing your family for a nice dinner. Something that stood out last night was that we thought the place was full and we'd have to wait 30+ minutes to be seated, but we got seated right away. Food was also delicious. We got the vesuvio calzoni and the margherita gluten free pizza!

First timer here but will definitely become a regular. The pizza here is so delightful, thin, full of flavor and perfect portion as an individual pizza or to share with others. I like my pizza on the crisper side which I initially asked for but shy'd away after our waitress said it may come out on the burnt side. Next time I'm going to ask them to the pizza in the oven for a few more minutes. I really enjoyed the San Marzano sauce. Prices are a bit on the higher side but definitely worth it. Ambiance is low key, not too noisy, great place. Only down fall was window sills were a bit dirty so there were so many flys in our area. Service was 6/10, didn't see our server much. Overall 8/10.

Came to Pizzeria Testa to celebrate a friend's birthday! Before this, I had only been to the Lower Greenville location, so I was excited to check this one out. The space is very clean, and a lot more warm with the brown tones spread throughout the restaurant. We were seated at a 4-person high top table, and though the table space was a little small, it worked for just two of us. Service was amazing, our server was so sweet, accommodating, and really added to our experience. I got a cocktail and it was pretty strong - definitely a sipper. We ordered the focaccia and olives - and to my surprise, it was not focaccia. I am not sure why it was labeled as such on the menu, but it was more of pita-bread slices of something else. This was also very chewy and at times, difficult to pull apart. I ordered a calzone and swapped the meat for garlic and mushrooms. This was great, and HUGE! I had lunch the following day. My friend ordered a marg pizza and enjoyed it. We were offered a free dessert to celebrate her birthday, which was so yum and much appreciated. We went with the tiramisu! Overall, this was a pretty positive experience (minus the ambiguous focaccia-not-focaccia), and I would return!

Testa Rossa Not a great pic of a phenomenal pizza! Spicy and flavorful with such fresh tomatoes and Basil, I love it. Obsessed with this place!

One of the authentic Italian restaurants in town. We had a really nice time dining here. The tiramisu was delicious. The pizza was too good. The restaurant is huge and they also have outdoor seating. They also have a bar. The atmosphere can get a bit noisy sometimes. They customize the orders according to our choices

I don't write reviews often...only when I'm blown away by the food, service or atmosphere. Tonight, all three were hit out of the park. If you venture to the FC Dallas / Toyota Stadium, you must stop in and give this restaurant a shot! Sit at the bar. Ask for Lyric. Order your food and let Lyric (bartender, server, master of all) make you a drink. If you're lucky, Riley, may stop by to help prep the outgoing drinks. Stay for a bit. Enjoy the atmosphere. I promise, you'll be back. I know we will.

You all need to go back to deep ellum ipa. Four corners is too bitter and you don't have another ipa on tap or in a bottle.

Can we BYOB here? Would like to celebrate a birthday with a specific wine that is only sold in certain locations.

No - reach out to the manager, he may be able to order your specific wine.

Can you pre-order the meter-long pizza for a pickup?

Yeah try and see what happens.

So you have a gluten free crust? But, do you also prepare gluten free pizzas on a surface or pan that separate from the flour crusts? And do your cooks do a glove change for prep work and have a list of gluten free toppings?

One question at a time Karen.

Any idea of the ingredients for the gluten free crust? We have a gluten and egg allergy along with nuts!

I do not know. Best bet would be call and discuss with them what your options for eating there might be with your food allergies.

By chance do you have gluten free crust available?

In November we introduced gluten-friendly pizzas. They are made with the highest quality imported Italian gluten free flour, and the crust is gluten free. We refer to them as gluten-friendly, because while the crust is gluten free, we do cook them… Read more

What ingredients go into crust?? I'm on a special diet.

Hi Barbara. We only use 4 ingredients in our crust: purified water, fresh yeast, sea salt, and type "00" flour that we import from Antimo Caputo in Italy. That flour is non-GMO Italian flour.

Since leaving, he keeps saying, "I know I've said this already, but that was some damn good pizza!" The pizza was hot, the toppings were delicious, and as someone who heavily judges pizza based on the crust--it was perfectly crispy! The restaurant was very clean. As soon as someone left, the tables were immediately cleaned. The lady at the front was extremely friendly and helpful, with a kind smile. It was our first time there, so I took a while looking at the menu, but she kept reassuring me to take my time. We even met Vinny/Vinnie, and he was such a cool guy--he took the time to ask our names and thank us for coming in! It was overall a great experience. Although they didn't have the pizza I originally wanted to try, that's okay--it just gives us more reason to come back! This was confusing because I had literally just checked online before arriving and saw multiple outdoor reservations available starting at 5:30pm. To confirm, I booked a 5:45pm outdoor reservation on my phone right in front of her, received the confirmation, and politely asked to be seated. Baylee still refused, stating I had "just made that reservation" and could not be seated until 7 or 7:30pm. I then asked to speak with the GM, Tommy. I explained that another family with a 5:45pm reservation had just been seated, so I didn't understand why ours would not be honored. Tommy immediately apologized, seated us outside right away, and completely turned the evening around. He checked on us multiple times during dinner and genuinely cared about making things right. Thank you, Tommy, for the excellent customer service and for valuing repeat customers. You truly saved the night for our family.
