The pizza was fresh and the crust was good. The Aperol spritz was perfect and well balanced. Salad was refreshing. Service was quick, straight to the point

First timer here but will definitely become a regular. The pizza here is so delightful, thin, full of flavor and perfect portion as an individual pizza or to share with others. I like my pizza on the crisper side which I initially asked for but shy'd away after our waitress said it may come out on the burnt side. Next time I'm going to ask them to the pizza in the oven for a few more minutes. I really enjoyed the San Marzano sauce. Prices are a bit on the higher side but definitely worth it. Ambiance is low key, not too noisy, great place. Only down fall was window sills were a bit dirty so there were so many flys in our area. Service was 6/10, didn't see our server much. Overall 8/10.

Came to Pizzeria Testa to celebrate a friend's birthday! Before this, I had only been to the Lower Greenville location, so I was excited to check this one out. The space is very clean, and a lot more warm with the brown tones spread throughout the restaurant. We were seated at a 4-person high top table, and though the table space was a little small, it worked for just two of us. Service was amazing, our server was so sweet, accommodating, and really added to our experience. I got a cocktail and it was pretty strong - definitely a sipper. We ordered the focaccia and olives - and to my surprise, it was not focaccia. I am not sure why it was labeled as such on the menu, but it was more of pita-bread slices of something else. This was also very chewy and at times, difficult to pull apart. I ordered a calzone and swapped the meat for garlic and mushrooms. This was great, and HUGE! I had lunch the following day. My friend ordered a marg pizza and enjoyed it. We were offered a free dessert to celebrate her birthday, which was so yum and much appreciated. We went with the tiramisu! Overall, this was a pretty positive experience (minus the ambiguous focaccia-not-focaccia), and I would return!

Testa Rossa Not a great pic of a phenomenal pizza! Spicy and flavorful with such fresh tomatoes and Basil, I love it. Obsessed with this place!

One of the authentic Italian restaurants in town. We had a really nice time dining here. The tiramisu was delicious. The pizza was too good. The restaurant is huge and they also have outdoor seating. They also have a bar. The atmosphere can get a bit noisy sometimes. They customize the orders according to our choices

I don't write reviews often...only when I'm blown away by the food, service or atmosphere. Tonight, all three were hit out of the park. If you venture to the FC Dallas / Toyota Stadium, you must stop in and give this restaurant a shot! Sit at the bar. Ask for Lyric. Order your food and let Lyric (bartender, server, master of all) make you a drink. If you're lucky, Riley, may stop by to help prep the outgoing drinks. Stay for a bit. Enjoy the atmosphere. I promise, you'll be back. I know we will.

Would not come again, traditional italian pizza...no. I've been to italy this would make them sad. Quality at dominos is better than this pizza. That should speak volumes. 20$ for a 12 in that is far from the worth of the price. No flavor. Bland sauce. Cheap tasting cheese. Undercooked dough. Sad overall.

Always my go to when I'm in town! The inside is beautiful, and you can see them cooking the pizzas right when you walk in the door which I love. The servers are always so friendly and helpful when asking for suggestions and anything new to try. You can tell they use fresh ingredients cause we never leave feeling disgusting, no matter how much food we eat! Always look forward to this place and can't wait to be back!

Can we BYOB here? Would like to celebrate a birthday with a specific wine that is only sold in certain locations.

No - reach out to the manager, he may be able to order your specific wine.

Yeah try and see what happens.

So you have a gluten free crust? But, do you also prepare gluten free pizzas on a surface or pan that separate from the flour crusts? And do your cooks do a glove change for prep work and have a list of gluten free toppings?

One question at a time Karen.

Any idea of the ingredients for the gluten free crust? We have a gluten and egg allergy along with nuts!

I do not know. Best bet would be call and discuss with them what your options for eating there might be with your food allergies.

By chance do you have gluten free crust available?

In November we introduced gluten-friendly pizzas. They are made with the highest quality imported Italian gluten free flour, and the crust is gluten free. We refer to them as gluten-friendly, because while the crust is gluten free, we do cook them… Read more

Hi Barbara. We only use 4 ingredients in our crust: purified water, fresh yeast, sea salt, and type "00" flour that we import from Antimo Caputo in Italy. That flour is non-GMO Italian flour.

I only had a few cashew nuts and some trail mix snacks from the office kitchen so I was starving when I arrived. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice. It was empty when I arrived at 5pm so I was able to really look around. Our waiter was Ernest. He provided outstanding customer service and made up for some of the issues we had with the food. We started with the complimentary bread. There were some with red sauce and seasoning that were absolutely delicious. I loved that bread with the oil, cheese, and balsamic vinegar dressing. I decided to get the crab cakes. The crab cakes were ok but not good. They needed more seasoning. I know adding Cajun seasoning would have been perfect. They were also overcooked. The sauce they came with was ok, but add some Cajun seasoning and a dash of hot sauce and it would have been much better. I started with the raspberry martini. It was ok but not strong enough. I got the lemon martini next and it was perfect. Overall I think the drinks were good and the food is ok. I think with some modifications to the food preparation and seasoning the food could definitely be on point.

During Covid the then owners were very generous providing meals for many in the area. Bella was sold shortly after Covid and the new owners either did not know how to properly prepare good Italian food or didn't care, but in any case the quality of the bill o' fare suffered tremendously to the point where we no longer dealt with them. Fast forward to today and my wife and I decided to give them another try as the reviews we were seeing indicated a definite uptick in the quality of both in-house and take-out. We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the pizza (Supreme) which I picked up. The major downfall of most sub-par pizzas is the crust. Even if the ingredients are good, a poor quality crust spoils the entire dish. Not at Bella Italia! The pizza we brought home was SUPER!! The toppings were fresh and plentiful - a word of advice DON'T ask for extra toppings (which you pay for) as there are PLENTY on the basic order. The crust is light and flavorful. All in all, as good a pizza as we have had in a LONG time, and, their prices are reasonable. The lady who took my call in order was friendly, efficient, and professional. Additionally, when I was leaving she went to the front door and held it for me as I exited with my large pizza box and cane in hand. A very nice touch - THANK YOU.

The food was amazingly good--one of the best italian places I've had in a while. Our service was subpar. We were a group of 5 people all around the age of 23-24, and it seemed like our server just assumed that made all his shortcomings okay because he tried to act kind of bro-like with us. There were multiple periods of time where we were left alone for anywhere from 10 minutes to 40. It took us a LONG time to get our food even though we were one of maybe 4 parties in the restaurant. One friend got told they were out of something, ordered something else, and the waiter went, "that's a joke, right?" and told him they were out of that too. His entree came out almost a full 30-40 minutes after the rest of ours so he just packed it up to-go. Only a halfhearted apology that everything was taking so long and no type of compensation. The food was good enough that I would go back to try again since partner and I live in the area. But i really hope we don't get this guy as our server again.

Baonecci used to be in San Francisco and recently came to Frisco, TX in the last 3 years. Their entire menu is ordered in fresh from Europe, pastas and pizzas are handmade in house, and everything lacks processed ingredients. To begin, we ordered white wine and I believe the Judas Spritz, which contained red wine, orange, and more. Both were excellent and paired perfectly with our appetizers and meals. For our appetizers, we ordered the Bruschetta and the Tagliere Toscano, or charcuterie board. The bruschetta was some of the best we have ever had and was made with excellently toasted bread. The Tagliere Toscano contained a variety of tasty meats, cheese, olives, as well as focaccia bread. It was a perfect board and not too heavy before our main meal. We also split the Baonecci Salad, which contained romaine lettuce, arugula, goat cheese and pears. It was absolutely delicious and perfect for the two of us. For our entrees, we ordered the Ravioloni Riccotta e Spinaci and an item from the secret menu, veal ravioli with white sauce. We also spilt a Contadina pizza. We were absolutely blown away by each of these dishes, the Ravioloni Riccotta e Spinaci was my particular favorite. The ravioli ricotta and spinach was served with the best gorgonzola cream sauce and topped with walnuts, it was honestly one of my favorite dishes I have had this year. The secret menu item was classic Italian and another hit. We loved the Contadina pizza as well. It was made very thin and crispy, echoing true Italian style. It definitely could be an appetizer because it was very light. It was made with gorgonzola, mozzarella, parmesan and topped with curly pears, it was delicious! Lastly, for dessert, Rogelio recommended we try the Coppa Amarena over the Tiramisu, so we did. It was a great choice! The Coppa Amarena is vanilla gelato topped with Amarena cherries. It is a perfect, fruity and light dessert to end the night with. However, I would love to come back for the Tiramisu! Overall, it was an absolutely amazing experience. The food is authentic, Italian and clearly made fresh and in-house. Our waiter, Rogelio, also made it such a fun night and gave us amazing recommendations that made the entire experience great. I cannot wait to come back and try more from the menu and have some of these dishes again. Don't let it deter you that it is located in a strip mall, it is truly a hidden, Italian gem. I look forward to returning soon! Thank you so much for a great experience and night!!
